Absolute crooks. My friend and I got stuck in Emporia, KS and slept the night in the car before we got towed to this place in the morning. Within 10 minutes they came back and said that he needed a whole new engine and quoted him about $8500. He decided to hold off and the next day he had his car towed to his local dealer in KC. The dealership just got back to him and said there is nothing wrong with the engine and that it s a fuel intake problem that would cost a fraction of the cost to fix. Mark and avoid.

They were very helpful and were able to get my car in much sooner than other repair facilities in town. They were able to diagnose and fix the problem promptly and had good customer service!

This is the best mechanic shop I've ever been to they are so understanding I could never be more thankful to the owner with how much he helped me out in my time of need. I'll be forever thankful for this establishment with the amount of care and understanding they have for there customers. Thank you blackcreek diesel for being there for me when I needed you most.

Called & made an appointment to get my car heater checked, this was my first time ever going here. I was not told when I dropped off my car if I would get charged for them to check the issue out. When I went to pick up my car I was told it was going to be $109 I stated that I wasn t told I was going to be charged. They ignored my comment and I ended up paying 119 with taxes & they still didn t know for sure what was wrong. Would ve been a better experience if told up front.

It was a great experience from start to finish, very reasonable in pricing and their estimate was spot on. I had them install a 1.5 inch leveling kit on my truck and it was perfect. I can't honestly recommend going here. I thought I needed an alignment because I had vibration. The alignment was fine. One of the front rims was bent. They moved it to the back so it wouldn't vibrate as much. They billed me $81 for an alignment and tire rotation. It took nearly 2 hours. Why I paid for an alignment when they did nothing to the alignment, I don't know. I could have moved the two tires for free at any Walmart or done it myself. I would have been happy to pay for the rotation and leave a tip, as I usually do but they also took off all my hubcaps and left them in the trunk. I had to put them back on myself.

I have visited Blackcreek Diesel & Automotive many times for everything from regular maintenance, to wheel alignments, to major repairs. Their staff is very knowledgeable and professional. I recommend this place it is one of the best in this town my friend was left lying in his red dually ram 3500 truck and I went through each workshop and they really treated him badly a young man recommended this workshop and everything changed they are very professional especially the one who attended me by phone and I am in Houston tx if you get to read this comment friend you are a very nice person I hope the other people are like that 10000 stars of recommendation for him and his work team very satisfied

Don't go here. The mechanics are incompetent and also lie about even working or fixing your vehicle when they actually don't even touch it. They'll just charge you for the supposed work they did. Earlier this year I sent my son to have my suspension and steering fixed in my car. The mechanic there made my son literally buy every suspension component and steering column new because they could'nt even figure out the cause of the problem or just simply didn't care. After spending over $1,500 in new parts and about $1,200 in fake labor from Williams i decided it was best i go to another mechanic because my son realized too late he was being scammed. In the end after they supposedly replaced every suspension component, which i bought, the issue still persisted and they basically said that they didn't know and could no longer help. Seriously??? I took it to another mechanic in town and he immediately noticed that most of the suspension components were not new and he was able to fix the issue with new strut mounts that only cost $100. That's funny because Williams made me buy the same strut mounts and they allegedly replaced them. Well they never did along with other suspension parts I was forced to needlessly purchase. This means all they did was scam and didn't even work on my car half the time, if at all. They have zero integrity. It's sad to see this business become gutter trash because in the past they were great. If you don't want to empty your bank account or be lied to, then stay far away from this place. There are much much better auto repair businesses in town that are actually honest. As an elderly woman with a heart condition, the stress of the situation was detrimental to my well being.The invoices and service records were under my son's name. Which is irrelevant to the fact that your business does not provide honest service. Have a good day.

I took a vehicle in to get repairs done. The repairs were done quickly. They even went above and beyond to let me know of parts that had wear but were still in tolerance and that I shouldn't change them yet. Lastly it was an oversized vehicle and they took the time to take it to the next shop for the alignment. I was very pleased and will definitely take my vehicles back for any future repairs.

Three years ago, I trusted this company and they did an excellent job. Over the past few years, I have been charged for items in my vehicle that THEY have broken. A hose was broken because the mechanic dropped his tool. This has happened twice on two separate vehicles. On another occasion, they gave me an estimate for an oil leak repair for $1200 that the front desk felt was urgent. As I questioned this, I was fortunate enough that the mechanic who worked on the car walked through. He said the leak was very minor and just needed to be noted in the paperwork. Due to the age of the car, he stated it was not an issue and he felt it did not need to be repaired. On another occasion, we got an estimate for $1500 for work and a long list of necessary repairs. We got a second opinion from another mechanic. The other mechanic found a leaking hose and did not charge us at all since it was so minor of a repair. The car has worked fine for the past 9 months. I know that there is a 3 year warranty on their work, but I brought my truck in for a repair that cost me several hundred. It worked for a few days and the SAME issue returned. I took it back and they said it was a completely different problem and I was charged an additional amount for repairs. I know longer have faith in this company. I am not sure why I kept trusting them. I thought possibly it would get better.

This is a good place to get your semi truck fix. Very professional with good customer service. The only negative I would say is they are expensive. But other than that, very good place to go. Thanks again guys for taking care of my truck.

towing: even if they only have the car for 10 hours they charge you two days at 35 bucks a day. they picked our car up on a Friday. went to get the car on Saturday early they charged us 2 days. charged us 50 bucks to open lot. 140 for the tow that was only maybe two miles back to yard. I'm sorry but that is highway robbery. they didn't even have the car for 24 hours. the guy was strait up rude. Told me it was gonna be 260 was 270 total. we will never use this service ever again. I don't even want to give them one star..

Traveling through Emporia on my way from the Southwest to MIchigan. My truck developed a huge fuel leak. Called after 5 p.m. on a Tuesday, and they were able to get me in and out the morning afterward.

We rented an RV and had the misfortune of a loud noise coming from the engine/exhaust. They were able to squeeze us in last minute on a Friday and immediately knew the issue. They were super quick and had us back on the road within a couple hrs. Nice and professional.

My family and I were driving from Wichita to KC for the weekend, pulling a trailer to help a friend with his new house. OBD Scanner reported Cylinder 1 misfire about 8 miles outside Emporia. Limped to a couple different auto repair shops to see if they fit us in, late afternoon on a Friday, about 4P we arrive at Williams Towing and they agreed to take a look. Diagnosis came back that the ignition coil was bad. They got the part from NAPA, installed it, and got us on our way by closing. Williams always gets me in quickly to have routine maintenance done on my car. It's easy to drop it off and pick it up, or wait in their lounge while they do the work. Clean, efficient and professional. I was moving from Nebraska to Oklahoma when my truck started to act up. I was me, my 5 year old, and my dog, and I was pulling a 14 trailer with all my belongings in it. I was able to baby my truck to Emporia Kansas. When I got there I called 7 different shops trying to find someone that could help me ASAP, to no avail. Finally I called Williams automotive and Chuck answered! I explained my situation and he told me he would definitely be able to help me out. I arrived and he immediately greeted me outside! Me, my son, and my large dog, were invited inside, made comfortable, and treated amazing! The mechanic was wonderful on keeping me updated and letting me know what was going on and he got everything done in a timely manner! When the mechanic was finished, he took my truck for a test drive and when he returned, he backed my truck right back up to my trailer so I didn t have to worry about it!! So much amazing help and so many kind words were spoken by the wonderful gentleman at Williams! They treat you like family for sure! Thank you again Chuck for all your help! We made it to Oklahoma and my husband thanks you for helping us get here safely!

I had a fantastic experience with Williams automotive! First off I won a free oil change! Then when I came in they help me pick out a really nice set of tires on my jeep! I already knew that my air-conditioner was having problems and then discovered I was also having issues with my water pump! Before it became a serious issue they got me taken care of! During the whole process they were extremely accommodating and fixed me up at a very fair price with great customer service! I ll definitely be working with them in the future! My company vehicle had a wheel bearing going out, I called the shop and told them my issue and that I would need it done as soon as possible. Lance and Jeff were great. They even gave me a ride home when I dropped it off. They said it would be done by 10am the next morning and they delivered! Great job and I highly recommended them to anyone.

DON'T GO HERE, Earl has snake eyes staring out of his corner of his eye at me.I should have just left. It was all fishy, I went in before Christmas to get my car worked on. The engine was chugging. I had a leak and the codes were saying there was a cylinder 3 misfire. "THEY'RE ALL LIARS." They told me fixing the head gasket would repair the misfire. I was way overcharged. It was $911.I gave him $920. I didn't even get change back and EARL told me I needed to give him $11 MORE. The leak was fixed but, the main issue was the engine was still chugging after I got it back 12 days later my engine blew out last night. I had to get it towed late at night in the cold snow just to get home .They are dishonest and should have told me the engine was going out.just to make a quick buck. I'm pursuing legal. I really trusted them.

The team here is extremely nice! I didn t realize that I had to make an appointment, and even though they were understaffed and extremely busy Adam Smith was still able to get my car in and fix my breaks. We were on the road just passing through when our oil light came on. Doing a simple google search told us this could be a larger problem so we immediately pulled over and found these guys. Absolutely amazing service- they immediately prioritized our vehicle and allowed our 2 large dogs to wait inside out of the cold with us. At the end they said the problem could wait and there was no charge. They genuinely cared about providing good service and doing good. I would absolutely feel comfortable going here if we lived in the area for any problem that arose. Amazing service!

Through AAA service I needed a tow from Council Grove lake (25 Mi away). My trailblazer's water pump went out along with belt, which tore into the radiator. I had already made arrangements to have the truck towed to a shop I usually use in lebo. The tow truck showed up in a short time. Evan, the driver was friendly and made his job look easy. He assured me that Williams did this type of work and could have it done for reasonable price. I called and cancelled the arrangement with my other Shop. So far I am pleased with there service. I will give my full review in a few days. Thanks.days later......... This shop is super overpriced! 4hrs of labor for the water pump, and 4 hrs labor for the radiator?! List price for all parts. Grand total $1200. I ended up towing it to a different shop and beat the price by $420. Service manager for Williams wouldn't negotiate even a dollar. I was charged a diagnostic fee even though the damage was seen clear, as I explained over the phone. If you like throwing $100 bills out your window you might like this place.

The staff at Williams Automotive honored my warranty and replaced my starter free of charge. They managed to squeeze my repairs in at the end of a business day even though I hadn't been able to make an appointment. I am also extremely appreciative of their efforts to cater to the Emporia community by offering a discount to ESU students. I would recommend this business to anybody because it is professional and trustworthy.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Definitely recommend coming here. Our van broke down on I-35 near Emporia because the battery stopped working and we called Williams Towing and they brought us here. It was near closing time but the mechanic was nice enough to stay overtime to help us fix the battery and alternator. They said it would take maximum 2 hours but they fixed it in about 30 minutes. The general manager Chuck was super helpful and nice. Thank you!! If we ever need help again, we'll for sure come here.
