It might be a 2-1/2hr drive from KC just for an oil change, tires or general work, but there is nobody I trust more to work on or supervise the work being done on my vehicle than Bobby at Steve and Sons. Vehicles have become far too complex for me to handle and Bobby has been a trusted friend and mechanic for many, many years. That's why even after moving hundreds of miles away from the Wichita area I still bring my vehicle to him. It's worth the drive, the money and most of all, the peace of mind.

Top notch service and care! Saved the day!! I highly recommend Steve and Son s over wallyworld tire service!!! Florida and Kansas wallyworld tire service are subpar! Steve and Son s answered the call in less than 24 hours and did the work in under 30 minutes! Go ahead and set your expectations and just watch them exceed on every one!

TPMS alerted me of low tire pressure on tollway. Found Steve and Sons and they had me backing in to bay in no time. Turns out it was a crack in rim. They used spare rim and mounted my better tire on and off we went at very reasonable price. They kept me very informed during the entire process. Great crew!!

I have been taking my truck in to Steve and Son's since it was just a young pup with a 20k miles on it. I am now at 225k miles and I don't trust anyone else to work on my truck. They are always fast and friendly and do excellent work with out trying to upsell unnecessary services. Honest, trustworthy and excellent!

Each time I go here, I can tell that Steve's main priority is to provide the best service he can and at prices that are reasonable for customers while allowing him to effectively run a good business. Every visit has been met with professionalism from every employee I have seen. I have been highly satisfied with all work done after several visits and I will continue to go to Steve & Sons. UPDATE: After almost a year of going to Steve & Sons for oil changes, tire changes, and a brake change, I stand by my initial review. They provide great service at fair prices. Thanks for the great service Steve & Sons!

Steve and his crew were AWESOME! We were stranded and on a tight schedule we have sort of specialty/hard find tire. Steve went out of his way to drive to a different town to get the tires we needed to help get us back on the road and keep us on schedule. Highly Recommend!!

Charged a crazy $130 to mount and balance tires. Then messed up my wheels paint and slammed on hammer on weights to my nice wheels that only requires sticky weights. Made it an eye sore. They don t know what they re doing coming from and ex tech.

I ve always been extremely happy with this business until this last time that my family dealt with them. Sadly, my sister had my nephew take his Toyota Highlander in to have the brakes and tires checked before he moved to Denver where I live. He was told that it needed an alignment, shocks, struts, and a new set of tires. We decided against any repairs because he isn t going to keep this vehicle and none of these items needed done to make the trip. My sister was charged $94 and some change for the estimate for these repairs. I ve never heard of any business charging for estimates. Small businesses wonder why bigger companies are putting them out of business, but then they do things like this. My family has spent thousands of dollars at this business up until now. My dad and the company he worked for until he died did a lot of business together. I just find it sad that a small business would charge for an estimate that was done at their leisure since the vehicle was dropped off.

The great folks at Steve & Sons Tire, are very professional and patient with customers who aren't quite sure how to explain their vehicular problems. They checked on me while I waited for my truck to be repaired. The waiting area and restroom are really clean. Thanks to y'all for doing what you do and how you do it.

Was told to go to another tire shop by a tire shop employee/ owner (D&T Tire in El Dorado Kansas) and these great people took me right in. Fast good customer service. Nice people! Been back twice since. This last time after working on my Honda civic because of a blown head gasket. They charged me for a job that shouldn't have been done in the 1st place. So I ended up paying for the timing job and new head gasket $1600 worth. I told them in the beginning it had a timing job done at approx 100k and they still insisted it be done. I haven't been back ever since and my car isn't running right. AC is intermittent too. Before I didn't have a single problem with my older 93 honda civic. Be careful where you go and who you trust. This is why I don't go to shops. I try and work on my own vehicles.

We were traveling back north for the summer and our tire gauge alarm started sounding off. Luckily we were near El Dorado s exit and looked up tire repair . Steve and Sons came up and had great reviews. They did not disappoint. Very accommodating, reasonably priced and got us back on the road! We would highly recommend.

I just wanted to say that Bobby you sir are an amazing miracle worker!! These guys got my car in and fixed in about 24 hours. They stayed late to make sure that my babies and I are safe driving down the road. Thank you for investing in your customers as much as we invest in you!!

We picked up a huge nail in our tire and it was hissing. They worked us in and fixed us up in 30 min. They offered to replace the worn out rear tires. Very reasonable, helpful and accommodating.

I had a previous tire shop rotate my tires and they over tightened them causing lug nuts to break off. My two rear wheels almost fell off on the side of the road. I reached out to Steve and he referred me to a tow company. They towed me in for a fair price. Steve and his crew surveyed the damage. The had to replace all 16 lug nuts and studs and had me back on the road in just a few hours. I would give the 10 stars if I could. Great family atmosphere! Thank you Steve and crew for your help.

My wife and kids were driving from Houston, TX to Minneapolis, MN when oil started leaking from the van. These guys fixed our van first thing in the morning and was very reasonable with the price. Honest and got my family going within a couple of business hours. Hard to find this kind of service in Minnesota. A very personal thanks for your help.

They were friendly and relatively fast for a oil change. While waiting they would come into the lobby and ask how us customers were doing. Definitely wouldnt mind doing more business with them.

$20 to patch a tire and had a 2hr wait at that... Upside is they were very friendly there and gave me a courtesy call when they were finished with my tire... customers who are purchasing 4 brand new tires at once are expected to have a longer waiting time but those who walk in just needing a tire patched are most likely in a time crunch...

Was sent there to get my sensors reset. Very friendly. They also checked my tire pressures all around. Was out in about 30 minutes. As far as I know, they did a good job, my warning signals went off.

Traveling out of state, I blew a trailer tire on the tollway. I called, they had the tire, and had it waiting when I got there. Called me by my first name, and treated me as a valued long time customer. You could not ask for better service! Thank you!

We went here to get a new clutch installed. They gave it back to us with the clutch pedal riding parallel with the floor and insisted it was like that before it got there. When we pointed out the fact it was nearly undriveable they fixed it by welding a piece of scrap metal to the pedal effectively blocking it off instead of fixing the actual problem. Now it s a year later and the clutch they installed (incorrectly) is slipping and has destroyed itself. We re now paying another mechanic to fix what they did to it. They are incredibly nice people but they don t know what they are doing. I know several people that have had similar issues with this business.

Everything was all well and good while they were getting money on a regular basis for doing very little if anything at all other than opening up some mail. Yeah but you take that money out of the equation and them guys or something else very unprofessional and confrontational, and uncaring lackadaisical manner in which my matter was handled. They definitely could have done better they know it that was the Boss, head mechanic, and the guy in the office. Yeah when they got all together they were pretty tough when was just below me in the waiting room all by my lonesome. One of them, the head mechanic, even told me that I better not tell that vendor or had anything to do with that. What a little chicken poop! That whole Roost stunk in there. They were all in cahoots when it was all good but they were like a gang when things started going otherwise. I will not ever be back there I took my business over to John K Fisher in El Dorado they will get my business the rest of my life.

I have a 1999 Dodge Dakota.Steve and Son's have done allot of front end work, rack & pinion leak, breaks, repaired and replaced tires.Fair price, friendly, and profesdional
