Ross and his guys at the Chop Shop are kind and professional. I was at a funeral yesterday and I blew not one, but two tires. He and Jed got my car fixed quickly and back on the road and home safely! I definitely recommend them. - Doug Brown, US Logo, Inc.

Ross was great to work with! The truck had a light come on and he fixed it without charging me extra. People say he is hard to get ahold of but I have never had a problem. I d buy from him again!

I recently bought a truck from here at thanksgiving and it had a few minor issues when I bought it. But I didn't have time to get them fixed before I went back to Texas. After 2 days of being back in Texas I noticed a pop in the front end. I drive some of the worst lease roads known to man. If you have ever worked in West Texas oilfield or pipeline you know what I'm saying . With no other mechanical issues I continued to use the truck for work. I returned to Kansas over Christmas break and contacted Ross. That same day he had my truck in the shop. The minor issues it had at purchase were the cruise control, a door lock, and a window switch. The pop in the front end turned out to be a busted motor mount. Now he could be said that it was due to the driving conditions or that it happened after the warranty was up. Since thanksgiving to Christmas I'd already out around 6300 miles on the truck. But as a man of his word he replaced the stuff that was wrong at purchase and even the motor mount. I have no I'll words for this man or his business and think that those who do have not fully understood that running a business is very demanding. That sometimes when a person gets busy they tend to forget to return calls or sometimes the customers make it difficult to deal with they're needs or concerns. Some mechanical issues that exist on a vehicle are not always noticeable right away. That doesn't make the business man or woman bad at they're job. What i. Trying to say is if you want a vehicle with absolutely nothing wrong with it than save your money and buy new. And even then you may get one with issues. Nothing is guaranteed in life but death and taxes. When you buy a used car you should know that mechanical issues may arise and somethings are out of the businesses control. So yes if I was to buy another vehicle I would not hesitate to buy from THE CHOP SHOP.

Well all I have to say is that my son bought a car from him and he told him that the tire needed fixed the spoiler needed replaced and the driver's mirror needed replaced and a front end alignment . He said he fixed the tire (which he didn't)and fixed the mirror (which he did) took the spoiler off and didn't replace it. my son went to get new tires and the front end aligned and to find out he had to pay $4000 to get a new front end cause it was a death trap. And still has to put new rotors and brakes on it. I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy.

Traveling home to Wisconsin we experienced transmission issues. We searched online & were so fortunate to find a #1 mechanic who went out of his way to help us on a weekend.Besides being a top notch mechanic, he s also a great, trustworthy guy. Horrible! Purchased a car after test driving and everything seemed great. Not even 10 minutes into the drive home the check engine light came on. Called the owner (Ross) and he said he would check it. Had to drive all the way back out of town 2 days later (because his schedule was full) just to be told that it's a $1200 fix and they won't pay for it... but he would give us a discount on labor. And that he isn't able to refund us our money because they have a "limited amount of funds". The owner KNEW about the check engine light in the first place and had it timed out so we wouldn't see it when we test drove it. I would never recommend this place.

Very honest, very friendly and very helpful. We are from out of state and our truck broke down, they were fast and absolutely accommodating. Awesome work. We are completely satisfied with the services they provided. We Highly recommend the Chop Shop. Thank you guys for everything.

Excellent experience!!! The owner worked with us and was able to get us in a vehicle same day in spite of out credit challenges. We got the payment we needed with as good interest rate, no hassles. I will definitely bring m th business here in the future as well as recommend that my friends shop here first.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE business man. DO NOT GO TO THIS MAN. Not sure if he's an alcoholic or a druggie but it's apparrent he's either or. Went to his "shop" (btw isn't even a shop more like a cluttered filthy garage) to check out a car. Took it for a spin and he hadn't even had it detailed. It was absolutely filthy! I felt like I was sitting in dirt. Told him I wanted to review the car fax report. Found out it had been SITTING for 2 years. He put new tires on it but wouldn't say where, insinuated he bought them black market. Told him I was very interested but wanted to see what it would look like with it detailed and wanted to take it to mechanic to look over. Also told him I wanted to know more about the car sitting for 2 years. He agreed to all of this. We had a time set up for my mechanic to look at the car and everything. Hasn't contacted me since and I've repeatedly called and messaged him. It's now been 2 weeks since I first went out to see the car.

Took my car in on a day they are suppose to be closed for Diagnostics. They determined it was my alternator. They had it replaced in 3ish hours with driving to Wichita for the part. If you need a mechanic please look into The Chop Shop. The are also competitively priced and are some nice people. I will probably go here for future mechanic needs.

Theres alot of mechanics/car dealers in El Dorado, but The Chop Shop is far the BEST in town. Ross is honest , reliable, knowledged and very professional in his business. He is always going over and beyond whats expected. I would not trust anyone else to work on my car. He knows what he is doing and is very trusting!! Anyone who needs a used vehicle or a mechanic, he is your guy!!!

The owner takes information about you for buying a car and never gets back to you for weeks. To ask a simple question is like nails on a chalkboard he never picks up the phone, you text him he never hear back. We live in a world that people have there cell phones with them 90% of the time but he never answers his. In my experience I wouldn't do business with someone who doesn't put the customer first and answer questions that you ask .

Bought a truck from him no issues on the test drive. Took it home and had to replace the transmission with a month of ownership. Said and I quote I would trust this truck to drive from here to anywhere in the country. I ve had nothing but issues with it.

I had major issues with my truck when bringing it to The Chop Shop. Those issues have been properly fixed and a fair price. Will be using them for all of my future mechanical needa.

Bought a truck less than 2 months ago and now it has been in the shop for 3 weeks now for stuff that the owner said he replaced right before we bought it. And it's still in the shop. When it's all said and done we will end up paying over 3,000. The owner won't answer when we try calling and it's all supposed to be under warranty..
