Rest assure that everything went smoothly & it was. The guys went above & beyond, making sure our oil change experience was award winning! Took all 3 of our vehicles on diff days & still maintained assurance & was stayed consistence. We plan to refer our family & friends to take 5 & all the lovely reasons why we like them. All staff deserve to have a raise at this location in Derby Ks!

I keep getting pimped for a review daily, so here goes. Minimal staff was polite, professional and respectful and seemed to do a good job. The previous visit, I was told they would annotate in my file that I was military and that they only had the expensive oil in stock for my vehicle. They changed the oil and filters and it was quite costly that time. I was the only customer this time and got JUST an oil change this time and it cost over $129 (with tax). Apparently that was before the military discount that was not applied before I inquired about it because it was not in thier system. The guy did not seem trained on how to cancel the purchase and rework it to include the discount, so I bit the bullet and left it at that. Would I reccommend or go back? Maybe, maybe not. Will check out the other businesses to see how they compare. Thier customer service was great, but prices seem a bit on the high end. Hope this stops this stops the continuous requests for a review.

The experience of a quick oil change while I sit in the car was great and the entire process from start to finish was only 15 minutes, which is a great perk. The staff were very friendly. However, $105 for a standard oil change is ridiculous and unfortunately due to that, I will not be back.

Everyone was fantastic. They explained everything in detail and gave me options. Asked me about things that I didn t even know needed to be checked and gave me the choice of having it checked or not. I live in Oklahoma, but I am in Derby two or three times a month, I will definitely come back here to get my oil changed and recommend them to all my family and friends

My experience at Take 5 was very good. Joseph was very informative of the choices I had for the oil change. The service was handled very efficiently but I felt it was a quality service as well. Everything was explained again before payment by Manager. Very pleased!

The normal dealer that I would go to get my oil change was too busy for me. On February 27th, so onmy home I stopped at the Derby Take 5. They were very professional, very fast and very knowledgeable the different oil for my car a reasonably priced. I didn't even have to get out of my car. And for a person that is disabled they made it so easy for me. That was nice for a change. I really recommend everyone that needs an oil change to go to. The Derby Takes 5 on Rock Road in derby, Kansas.

This is a great oil change shop. Amazing guys who are kind and knowledgeable. The manager is approachable and explains the entire service with a courteous demeanor. I am a return customer and now my son also takes his auto there.

As a first time customer, I was quite pleased with the service here at Take 5 oil change! I ll be going back to them again. I felt they were very conscientious with checking all the filters in the vehicle, and replaced one that was filthy that I could even see the dirt it was holding on to, but did not replace any others that weren t in need of replacement. Polite and very nice crew.

First time user. I needed an oil change and once over in a pinch before hitting the road for Thanksgiving. I met Michael (lead tech) and Issac (Manager).Both were class acts and when I told them it was my first time they walked me through the process. They checked everything on my car (oil, trans fluid, filters, wipers, tires) and went over the checklist to make sure I was satisfied. They made me aware of some add-ons I could purchase but did not push them on me, which was appreciated. In and out in about 20 minutes! I m currently looking at their discount for multiple vehicles. Based on my singular experience I ll probably be back and would recommend it to anybody who needs these services.

This was a really good experience. I didn t have to get out of my car and they were Very thorough, and efficient. And friendly too. I didn t feel like I was being taken advantage of ,(which sometimes I do ,when I take my car in somewhere.) overall, I would Recommend them

I went in for an oil change. This is the second one I've been in for. I have been in maintenance for 30 years and worked in the automotive world for about 10 of the years. The most fundamental part of maintenance is preventive maintenance like oil changes. So a place like Take 5 should be a very knowledgeable company with proper training. With sitting in the bay and the information that is hanging on the wall display there training program, it gives you a feeling that they should know the basics of doing and oil change. This is the reason that Take 5 is in business if you didn't know. But as the oil change was being completed I watched with concern of the quality of this procedure. I can see that the installation of the lid for my oil filter canister o-ring was being done dry! I remembered last time I was there there was a come back that had a leaking oil filter on a Cummings. I quickly stopped the technician and told him to please lube the o-ring. He had a puzzled look on his face. I had to explain to him the ramifications of not properly lubricant on a seal of this type.I hope that there training program is explaining the importance of this procedure. If not I hope that someone from upper management see this and understands the importance of this simple step and can implement this.I will still use them for my next oil change on my other vehicle. But with this I will make sure that this step is not missed.

Absolutely the best experience I ve had taken my car to get its oil changed. The tech and the manger were fantastic. I recommend this place if you re not wanting to wait around for an oil change.

Take 5 sounds like a 5 minute or so oil change. I was in one of the bays for 45 mins. There were only 3 vehicles which includes mine. 2 technicians. They either need more techs or speed up the process.

My experience was great. Very professional. They showed me the filter that needed teplaced & gave me options for services. They didn't have a wiper blade in stock for my rear window, but said they would install if I found one somewhere else. I will use their service again.

Went in for a desperately needed oil change. I knew it would be a bit on the pricier side for the speediness and convenience, but I needed one badly..as in I was coming up on almost a year without one. I was greeted by Aaron who politely guided me in and offered me a bottled water. From there I met Christy who didn t shame me in the least for my lack of car maintenance.. and showed me my options, but didn t try to be pushy and sell me on stuff, which I can really appreciate! When I expressed that money was tight and I was trying to get this out of the way, Will stepped in and helped me out with something affordable seeing as how my car has over 200k miles on it. Aaron took care of the oil change quickly and I was out of there super fast - before my lunch break was even over. As I was waiting, I had already texted a few coworkers and a friend and recommended them, THATS HOW GOOD THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS. At the end..Will went through the receipt with me to make sure everything was covered and explained and I was back on the road. I would definitely go back again. What a great group of people. Thank you 3 for making it easy for me and being so kind when I needed it most!

They were having a busy day and there was a bit of a wait but they let me know that when I pulled in. They went over their entire process with me and systematically completed their checklist. My oil drain plug was rounded off, they had a bit of trouble getting it out, showed me the plug and then replaced it. The staff were friendly and professional even under a heavy work load.

The guys were very nice. I had just had new tires put on my car and the manger added more air than my tires require. My PSI for my tires are 33psi he put 36psi. They tried to sell me stuff I didn't need, I feel because I was a woman they assumed I didn't know anything about my vehicle. I tried to call them and it send me to a voice mail. Not very business like. I will not return to this place.

Vehicle vandalism is against the law.. they didn t change my oil. They changed my oil filter, but that was it I left and the oil was still dirty.. if they did it to me.. don t think you ll be exempt, you might make someone mad, or they will want to cut corners to cut down costs it s like gossip.. if they gossip to you, they ll gossip about you!

Will not be back, pulled up around 430 with only 4 cars ahead and sat for hour and a half with no communication from staff after being directed into the garage where I sat for an additional 20 minutes before service. Didn t leave until close to 7pm. Mechanic was nice, but not worth the time spent

Went in recently for a top off and now my hood is dented from the stick they use to prop the hood open with. Not sure why that stick is necessary when I have a fully functioning one on the car. Now I m paying for PDR. Most expensive free top off service I ve ever received. Will take my business back down to Derby Quick Lube.

First off, price. Was concerned at first when I saw the full synthetic high mileage change was $102 for 5qts then +$11/qt after. Honestly, for my to buy that with good oil it s around $50 anyway. For the full change, the absolute UNBEATABLE convenience of driving up, and the exceptional mechanic/customer experience, I would recommend them every time.Sure, you could get a $19.99 oil change somewhere else but the fact I can watch them entirely do the process from my driver seat, have a friendly conversation at the same time, and literally drive up and drive through like a car wash? Oh yeah, I ll come here every time.

I was there for 55 mins. They were polite and had a system but for 6-8 guys there and only two cars in the stalls at a time while I was there not much got done. They tried to up sell me several times. But then didn t have the parts they tried to sell. When I told the manager I had been there for over 50 mins He offered 25% off my next visit. I was late to my next appointment and spent way too much money on the first visit so there will not be a second one!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Oil change

Quite the experience pulls up guy jumps out and hands me two glasses of water and said can I help you now that was good news cuz I needed help pulled me into a bay had a guy down in the pit yelling back and forth one two three oil clear it was a great feeling that I was in a place that knew what they were doing checking my air my filters thank goodness for take five this is Dan Lynch saying thank you for being Derby

Everyone was very friendly and the whole process was quick. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking to get an oil change! Coupon was easy to use as well!
