BEST PLACE EVER!! There was not one bad experience throughout our three day/two night stay in this wonderful place! From the first phone call interaction, the folded toilet paper touches, to the recipe sharing farewell, you could tell this place was magical! Lori our host made our weekend very enjoyable. The breakfast at the main house served by Lori, was PHENOMENAL! The cabin was our children s favorite place in a long time! They loved the loft, were obsessed with the special touches she left for the guests in the fridge, and mom and dad were of course in heaven as the beds were clouds of fluffy comfort! Lori is the best host we ve ever encountered and if you don t stay at these cabins you re missing out on a rare touch of down home hospitality. I can promise you no hotel close can compare to this place or her! 10 out of 10 recommend from a family of 5! Noteworthy details: We loved the touches she left in the cabin. The way the toilet paper was folded, the quality of necessities that was left for us, as well as the cleanliness !

Lori, the owner of this B&B, is such a wonderful person! I stayed here during my bike across the country and she was the definition of accommodating and hospitable. She knew I biked in and that the local restaurant was closed so she offered to pick me up dinner in the neighboring town. She also allowed me to use one of the rooms with a bath tub to soak my muscles. To add to the wonderful experience she made an incredible breakfast and sat with me telling me stories of her world travels. Such a wonderful person. I ll make the effort to come back through and stay on future travels!

We stayed in the South log cabin and couldn't have been happier with our visit. We loved our cabin (it was absolutely gorgeous) and the king bed must be one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. We're already looking for another excuse to come and stay!PS: Make sure you stay for breakfast, Lori's French toast is the best! Highly recommended.

What a wonderful place to stay! We called that day to see if they had anything available and I talked to the owner Lori. She was so accommodating and said they could have a cabin ready by the time we got there that night. The cabin was beautiful! Clean, everything you need and the bed, oh so comfortable! We had the breakfast the next morning and it was top class!! If you are in the area definitely stay here.

Best stay anywhere, anytime, ever! (And we travel a lot.) 10 stars for unique accomodations (clean, comfortable, thoughtful amenities, quality bedding, delightful atmosphere, relaxing); best breakfast ever; hospitable owners and hostesses; well kept grounds. You can't go wrong. Reasonable pricing as well. Call ahead, though, as this place has been discovered. Who would think that little Coolidge, Kansas, would have such a special, amazing place to go stay?!!Rooms: Beautiful furnishings, lodges are first class all the way.Safety: Quiet, beautiful town with great leadership.Food & drinks: Great!Noteworthy details: Drinking water is best in the state due to caring City leadership.

If you need a place to stay where you want to be treated better than family, book a room ASAP! Lori has created a beautiful oasis and will make sure that you have an unforgettable stay. We booked the Ace of Spades room, which was inviting yet luxurious. The linens are of the best quality, and the bed is extremely comfortable after a long drive. The best part of your stay will not be your room, though. Wake up to the most delicious gourmet breakfast you will EVER eat! French toast with homemade bread, Greek yogurt and fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, orange juice, coffee, and great conversation the best start to your road trip! Thank you Lori- we can t wait to find our way back here soon.

Wow - our cabin at the Trail City B&B far exceeded our expectations. Easy check-in and so lovely that the kind owner visited us to check we were ok. Very well equipped cabin - lots of tasty snacks: soda, granola bars, waters, condiments, creamer, cultlery, coffee, a full kitchen - and strong air con strong and big telly. Good hot shower with plenty of toiletries. It was very quiet with a huge comfy bed. Outside seating was cute and there was a beautiful golden hour and sunrise here too. We didn t want to leave. Perfect cabin - one of the best we ve stayed at!

What a treasure this place is! My room was comfortable, clean and charming. The bed was so comfortable to sleep in. The host, Lori, and her daughter warmly welcomed me, and also served an outstanding breakfast meal! They were knowledgeable about the area, and the history of the community, and I never felt I was a stranger in their establishment.

6 of us had a fantastic time at Lori's place. We stayed in one of her new cabins and it was perfect.Very comfy, room for all of us. She even had drinks in the fridge which she will never know how appreciated that was.Everything was so quite and peaceful. Man I needed that!I was fortunate enough to spend some time talking with Lori.I love history so we had a great chat. I appreciate her taking the time to sell me the history of the area which is amazing.Thank you Lori for such a great time and exceptional place to stay.We will be back

I can t say enough about Trail City B&B. The cabin we stayed in was immaculate and the beds were huge and comfy. Our boys lost their minds over the loft, they loved it. And the breakfast was INCREDIBLE the best french toast we ve ever had. Lori was so sweet and hospitable and took great care of us. We are already making excuses to drive into Coolidge on next year s summer vacation.

In the middle of no where, but worth spending the night at! Definitely will be staying here again! Stayed in the Ace of Spades room. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. However, the main reason to stay is for the breakfast.... namely the french toast, which is -hands down- the BEST french toast I've ever had! Can't wait to visit again!

Without a doubt this was one of the best experiences I ve ever had staying at a bed and breakfast. The owners were extremely friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. The bedding was extremely comfortable. The fridge was stocked with k-cups and some Pepsi when we arrived. I cant say enough fantastic things about this place. Please check it out if you can!

My fiance and I stayed here a few weeks ago on our travel through, we just found it last minute and we are so thankful we did! We absolutely loved staying with Lori, the B&B was spotless and one of the best places we have ever stayed (and we have been to quite few B&B's). The rooms were beautiful, the bathrooms were so nice! And breakfast... Don't even get us started on the french toast! So delicious, she makes her own bread for it! AMAZING. We actually got to meet a few folk of the town because we had a flat tire and the whole town is so helpful and kind! Shout out to Wade who was definitely an MVP during our stay and stopped out of the goodness in his heart and helped us with our flat!!Highly suggested, do yourself a favor and stay a night in Coolridge, KS!!

I have nothing but positive things to say about my stay. We stayed in one of the cabins which was a delight. My most favorite part of my stay was the breakfast in the morning. I have never had a breakfast that good. I highly recommend the French toast!I will definitely be making another trip to stay here!!!

After being caught in a storm and having nowhere to stay, this b&b took us in! If we had kept going we would have been sleeping in our car. The cabin was amazing! I was really wowed and the service is outstanding. Everything was comfortable, modern, and clean.

Trail City is an oasis at the Kansas/Colorado border. I find myself returning here each time I pass through to Colorado not because this is the most convenient route for me, but because Lori is a most perfect host and her bed and breakfast offers a beautiful, and uniquely historical place to revive body and spirit. I will continue to seek out excuses to enjoy Trail City's overabundance of hospitality, not to mention Lori's stellar French toast!

Very beautiful, with full kitchen, a huge bathroom, a loft with queen size bed, and a king size bed on 1st level, with a very nice and comfortable foldout couch for extra sleeping.I got to spend countdown into 2019 with her family who rented the cabin.Sorry no pictures, but i was in and out, and forgot to take some pictures.I'll try to get her to send me some so i can add to this review.

Lori, the owner, keeps the B&B beautiful and clean. She makes delicious breakfast! I stayed at the B&B for two weeks while my bike was repaired. Wifi, cable and a ton of local history kept me entertained! I will most definitely come back.

The place is excellent. Located in a small town, has no outside traffic noise. It's very clean, has unique design, is charming. Breakfast is homemade 5/5 stars, proper portion. The owner is a very interesting person to talk to. We definitely will stop there again.
