This was an incredible stay!Best parts? The amazing breakfast and the incredible beds/pillows.Worst part? Bathtub drain plug leaks (had to refill the tub completely every 10 min...room 328) and our room door handle/lock was really odd (have to push door handle all the way up then quickly down or the room door wouldn't open)Easy to find location, near the Walmart on the edge of town. Lots of parking. Nice looking building. Fast and friendly check in. Three floors, with an elevator.Our room faced the east, looking towards a large field. Room had mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker.Wi-Fi was adequate (9 megabytes per second download 9 megabytes per second upload).tv was disappointing as guide showed zillions of channels but when choosing them, many of the channels were locked.Room was nice, lots of hot water in bathroom.Really enjoyed the beds / blankets / pillows and had a very quiet sound sleep.Breakfast requires a whole section on its own because it was so amazing.It was buffet style and they are also encouraging you to take a grab and go bag if that works out better for your travel style.So many things about the breakfast area was done better than average or THE best we've seen (in over 35 days of driving over 8000 miles...)Hot food included scrambled eggs, omelettes, turkey sausage ,pork sausage , biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, pancake maker, hot cinnamon rolls...There were juices and teas and hot chocolates and coffee, various bread products, yogurts and fresh fruits and hard boiled eggs...Area was kept topped up and super clean by breakfast attendants Jim and Quinter...we spoke with Jim and he was amazing, thank you for everything!

When we arrived the front desk was outside smoking. Had to wait to check in. First room on 2nd floor- entire floor reeked of marijuana (traveling with child). We asked for a new room and were given a room on 3rd floor in which the heat/ air condition did not even turn on (it is 90 degrees out) Final room was on 1st floor and that was finally satisfactory. Water on juice machine is broke and per staff has been for a couple weeks and no one has fixed it yet. Staff was accommodating about room moves but offered little apologies or concern about issues. Offered nothing for our issues. Very poorly managed and maintained which is not typical for an IHG stay.

We enjoyed our room. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was a well-stocked continental assortment. Sarah checked us in. She was great! The staircases are exemplary of this hotel s quality - better made than some hotel lobbies.

This hotel is one of our go-to s when traveling up and down the I-35 corridor. It s always neat and clean, reliable comfortable, and breakfast is always well made. Being across the street from a nice Wal-mart is an extra bonus while on road trips.

GREAT breakfast! The eggs tasted real! (They probably were real, but I don't know for sure.) Good variety of food. Pancakes, oatmeal, breads, juices, yogurt, fruit...The room was clean, good smells. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel in the shower. And they said if you need other toiletries, ask. Nice place to stay. Would totally recommend.

We stay here a couple times a year. It is always very clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They have a nice breakfast in the morning. The automatic pancake machine is a big hit with our kiddo! We like spending time in the pool and hot tub too, which are both very clean and well kept, as well. No complaints :)

It would be hard to choose another property in Concordia if there was any other like Holiday Inn Express! Great location, in order to also visit relatives nearby. Clean linens and towels; great breakfast omlette, or scrambled egg and fresh fruit for breakfast, with great service. Great parking, and location (right across street from Taco John's, and Pizza Hut--both with in-house dining. Wonderful downtown just a few blocks away, self-guided tour to Orphan Museum, and Quilt Shops; plus, soda fountain counter and gift shop.Nearby activities: Orphan Museum, and bronze statues throughout city blocks; several restaurants like Gambino's Pizza and also Sport's Bar or Steakhouse; plus Taco John's, Pizza Hut, & McDonald's; also soda-fountain counter downtown; 2 quilt shops: Super Walmart and newish Dollar StoreWalkability: Easy access, walkaboutFood & drinks: Dining seating

When I tried to check-in, the front desk clerk kept pointing to the sign telling me that check-in wasn't until 3pm. As I have run front desks before (even this one) I knew checking-in at 2 was possible. After a heated discussion where she was rude and condescending, I was able to check-in. I also told her I needed to put my room on a different card, she took the card and I assumed everything was fine. A little while later in checking my bank balance saw a pending charge for the room and went back down to ask why, I was assured that the correct card was on my account and that the pending charge would fall off.After getting home, I checked my bank balance again and saw that they charged the card I wanted off the account. Called the hotel and got told they would call me back in 5 minutes, an hour later, I called back. This time, got Miranda the Manager, who didn't want to talk to me to figure out the situation only the desk clerk, who was busy checking in someone else, so I got put on hold. Miranda came back on the phone. With a very dismissive attitude, she tells me it's taken care of.I tried to register a complaint with her, but she was still very dismissive and did not care what I had to say, even after informing her I was a leaving a bad review, she was still dismissive. She told me this was a pre-paid room (it was not) and would not listen otherwise.I gave two stars, not one, because the room was nice and the food was ok, but due to the attitude of the Manager, I will not be back.

BE AWARE THIS HOTEL WILL HOLD YOUR INCIDENTALS FOR A WEEK. I have been traveling for almost two yrs and never have had a hotel hold incidentals for longer than I stayed at the hotel. Usually I get my money back within a couple hrs of checking out, thos hotel will hold it for a week. This hotel is nice maybe except for the noisy microwave in my room but the staff are nice and they have staff served hot breakfast! They also have to-go bags as well. My bed was nice and pillows were big and soft. The bathroom was a little small, the shower head had multiple settings. Overall, a nice stay. Reduced from 5 stars to 3 upon editing, because when I called to ask about the incidentals, I was hung up on.

BEWARE!!!!!! I Booked room online for 2 adults and 1 infant and somehow got the handicap room although conformation said standard room. I asked the front desk staff if I could change rooms so I could have a full bath ( in order to be able to fit my babies small tub in the bath tub since toddle tub doesn t fit comfortably with handicap chair in tub ) and she refused to change us rooms. Horrible customer service. Very unsatisfied with this holiday inn. We stay only at holiday inns since most have great customer service and rooms, but may have to start Looking for best westerns or another large chain.

We have stayed here twice for training our daughter's two service dogs (over 8 years). The staff is incredibly friendly and that hasn't changed. This time we mistakenly had reservations at a competitor's hotel and had to move for our daughter's health. Our reservation was last minute and they were accommodating. Next time we will stay here again and bypass the drama of last minute changes.

Checked in around 9:30pm and only issue was key card didn't work. Trip back to the front desk and all was great. Room was clean and smelled fresh upon entry. Breakfast spread was one of the best I've ever seen at a hotel as well. Outstanding all the way around.

This hotel was clean, desk staff was friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was good and fresh. The staff in the breakfast room kept it well stocked and clean.Good experience all around.

Great place, enough said. Great staff that are very helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Typical breakfast is tasty and filling. If you are nearby and need a room, stay here!Staff very helpful with checking, breakfast, and checkout, great bunch of folks.

Had a very nice stay here! Very clean rooms and friendly staff. We tried to leave that morning to find our car wasn't starting so we asked if they could help us jump it. After the car failed to start they helped us get to an auto store to replace our battery. After we installed the battery it continued to not start. We were headed to a funeral and they graciously helped us get to the next town for the funeral and helped us find a reliable mechanic to get our car fixed. Very nice people and so thankful for the generosity!

Easily located on the East side of Highway 81, this hotel is close to several restaurants and a Walmart down the road. Staff was friendly during the stay. Pool had perfect water temp even for being in December. We had a double queen room that was really nice, clean, and spacious. The room came with a dorm fridge, Keurig, microwave, and a big TV. We will definitely stay here again.

The staff were so nice and helpful. They had an elevator which is nice to have when you have a stuff to carry, smelled clean and was very comfortable. I loved it and I enjoyed the breakfast as well

The room itself was big with space to move around. The one big negative is that there is a sofa off to the side of the bed area; however, the t.v. is situated to watch from bed only. Big room design flaw. We would have liked to use the sofa to watch t.v. I would have liked to use the sofa to read; however, there was no lighting in or around the sofa. The bathroom was nice with plenty of lighting and good towels.
