If you are in need of a transmission shop there s no need to look any further. You ve found it. It s these guys. Trying to coordinate having repairs done to your ride from 14 hours away, in and of itself, is a pain. Stressful was not even the word for it. When I say the people at Express Auto Transmission went above and beyond that is exactly what I mean. We had a transmission swapped out in no time flat and then there was this issue with the rear end, as in, it was toast. They worked late, went out of their way to get the parts needed to get it rebuilt(with a warranty) all so we could get back on the road and back to work. Hardworking, HONEST, say what they can do and do what they say kind of folks. The price point is fair. They stand behind their work. You can t ask for better. Trust me. I know. By far the absolute BEST experience I ve had dealing with any type of mechanic shop. Choose them. You won t regret it!

I had a 2008 Ford Edge 3 years ago that needed a transmission rebuilt. He gave me a diagnostic. Set me an appointment. Had the car within a couple weeks. Ran perfect ever since!! In fact I just sold the car with no issues. I bought a 2015 Fusion and I be dang if the transmission didn't start slipping. I called and he got my car right in for a diagnostic. Torque converter and direct clutch is messed up. My car goes in the shop in 4 weeks. And 7 to 10 days to fix. And a reasonable price. He's very trusting, very informative, and a awesome mechanic. Highly recommend!! I won't go to anyone else!!

Great work, I am active duty military was visiting family when my clutch went out. He got the work done very quickly to accommodate and was great to work with. Highly recommend!

Did an excellent job. Provided a 12 month 12000 mile warranty and fixed my issue relatively quickly. I had another diagnostic at another transmission shop in Joplin and they were going to charge me 200 to try something that wasn't the issue and then 3k for replacement. No guarantees. This shop was very straightforward and accurate. They fixed the actual issue for 500. I saved 2.7k. Definitely recommend.Service: Transmission

I asked Express Auto if they could machine my 4L60e pump, and they did not fail to impress. Very communicative, very speedy and also went the extra mile to vacuum test it and found that the PR valve bore needed bored out and the valve replaced, which they did. Prices I thought were very fair and the workmanship was great! Thanks again!Service: Transmission

David was very professional, helpful and full of information! Took my truck to two different shops and neither would tell me what was wrong with my transmission just that it was going to cost $9,000 to fix. We live in Missouri, I found this shop through a friend and had my truck hauled 5 hours one way to this shop. He was booked out 2-3 weeks which was fine. He called 2 weeks later to tell me what was wrong with my truck and it would cost $3400 to fix. He took the truck apart multiple times to make sure it was running perfectly (as his words- I am picky and want it done correctly) before I came to pick it up. He kept in contact with me each step throughout fixing it. Called me after hours on a Wednesday to tell me my truck was fixed and ready to pick up. We happened to be in Oklahoma and couldn t pick up till Sunday on our way back to Missouri. He said no problem i can meet you there so you can grab it on your way back to Missouri. Very, very, very satisfied with everything! Truck is running and driving better than it was when I bought it! Could not be happier!Service: Transmission

I'd give double the stars if I could. Do not judge a book by it cover. This is a diamond in the rough. David and Less where amazing. Had me in an out. Quality and economic are just a few things I was pleased about. Less conversation was a great distraction why I waited for my car to be repaired. Again was less then an hour but still made time fly. I'd stop just for the conversation if in the area.

I had an excellent experience with my vehicle repair. Not only was the cost reasonable but very friendly and helpful service. I hope that I have no further issues but definitely will go back if it's needed. Would recommend Express to anyone in need of vehicle repair.

Almost as cheap as putting in a salvaged transmission for a full rebuild! Quick turnaround and my truck is running better than it has in years! Offers a warranty and is highly recommended. Now by me as well!

Excellent workmanship will be going here for all future repairs that are beyond my ability. Very well priced especially if you're looking for differential repair as that's what I had done.

If you're looking for a place to get your vehicle repaired at a reasonable price and treated fairly, I recommend this place. They will make sure you leave happy. There is absolutely a reason why they are busy all the time.

My wife and kids broke down at 7pm 100 miles from home. The owner here just happened by and stayed till 10pm to get them on there way. I am forever greatful and i would recommend him to anyone. Thanks so much!!

Friendly and helpful. Did have to take a vehicle back to fix a problem with the installed transmission, but it was repaired without any additional cost.
