Rating posted 8-23. I switched to this shop becuz the owner and mechanics are extremely knowledgeable. They are the only guys who know how to work on imports and old vehicles. I followed the mechanic that had worked on my truck for years when he went to work for Holt's. I will never switch to another shop. If there's a problem, they will fix it. Highly recommended

Very please with the service received here. Fred and Ryan were quick to respond when we got stuck in a bad diesel truck situation. As another person in the Automotive industry and business it's hard to find others that are willing to communicate, work with, and not trying to take advantage of customers when they're in a pickle. They had my car for over a week to fix the drain on my battery. They never called to tell me anything about it before fixing it. I had to call for updates myself and they didn t tell me it was done. They finally said it was done after I had called for the third time. I picked it up payed almost $200 dollars with only $3.50 in shop supplies and $15.67 in taxes the rest was labor! They told me that they worked on it for about two hours. I had the car for the first day it worked. The second day it started a bit slow, but I didn t think much of it. By lunch time (about 6 hours later) the battery was dead! (Which was the whole reason I took it to them was to fix the battery drain) I had only had the car for a day and a half before the battery was dead! I called them the next day about the problem not being fixed the mechanic asked if I left the door open! (Of course not) even if I had left the door open it has a automatic shut off of the cabin lights after about 20 mins so it would have still been his fault if it drained the battery because that was his only job to fix!Services: Electrical repair, Electrical, Battery

I recently had service done here. Not only did they get to my vehicle quickly but they stayed true with the quote.... I am very happy with my service and will be a returning customer. Would definitely recommend to someone who would like their car fixed right

Best service in town. I have had the privilege of having Holt Motors work on my cars and trucks for over 30 years. My grandpa used to fix radiators and heater cores for them. They offer better service, and are a lot cheaper than the local Chevy (Holms) dealer for any repair or routine maintenance. Great job, i will always return.

I'm gonna give them ONE LAST CHANCE. To FINALLY fix my trucks power problem and steering problem. I've spent I dont know how much $ an took it down too many times for it to keep having the same problems. Worst company in Abilene, over priced, the holt family don't own it anymore they lost it to the bank. For not paying taxes, ex owner Mike Holt knows nothing about fixing vehicles. holt has recently has become under new management. I have take three different vehicles to holt, and each time they have fixed the problem. The price they charge is well under the price that they should or could have. I am more than pleased with Hoty.One of the cars that we took there had a very random problem that they were able to find. a random wire got burnt out when a cooling fan stopped working. They found the wire and fixed the fanThey also have done a complete transmission rebuild for us.

Lady who answered the phone was very nice and did offer awesome service. Said they could even come and get my vehicle at work and do it that day (oil change is all I needed). Never showed up. When I called back to ask why, no explanation was given...just "sorry".

Did great work, they are slow to complete repairs, but they get the job done. They are not the nest at keeping you up do date on the status of your car, but they can tell you where it is if you call them.

Worst auto service I have ever had! Never go here! They had my car in the shop for two days and didn't even bother to call me and say it was done the first day. Not only that but the grossly over charged me. Very displeased with their service.

Too pricey for the amount of work, that they quoted, won't ever do business with them, and I live in Abilene, being that I work on vehicles myself, I know how some mechanics can be ridiculous, especially when they think that you as a customer is an idiot.

They try to cheat you out of your money tried to make me pay more than 400 for a part that costs 200 they "fixed" my air conditioning and it doesn't work that well at all DO NOT GO THERE

I went in for quote a few weeks back I got the blue 99 dodge pu truck i dropped it off around 10am and by 4:45 it was still there my water pump was just replaced and yesterday my dad showed me a bolt to it was almost out 3/4 of the way you guys are crooks will never recommend u ever I went in for u to tell me what's wrong so I can fix my self I wish I could rate u guys a negative 100+
