This shop changed owners and that was definitely for the better. They now have services here they didn't have before which is great. It allows for more competition in town and helps keep people from having to go to Des Moines for major car surgeries. If your car has an issue, odds are they can fix it here.I got 2 front tires and an oil change yesterday. Had a good experience and will continue to go there for my automotive needs.

Didn't tighten oil filter and drain plug. Ended up leaking in the driveway. $91 for terrible service. The oil didn't even look changed. Was told it was "full synthetic". 10/10 wouldn't recommend.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

My experience at this place has been horrible. I was charged $350 over what I approved and promised a refund for over a month. Finally, after being told I would be refunded soon EVERY TIME I CALLED, they said you re not getting your refund and hung up the phone. This place is a joke.

I recommend everything about Wicked Wrench. Customer service and workmanship is second to none. On a trip to Winterset, IA from the Chicago IL area, our car began hesitating terribly. We were recommend by local Winterset residents to bring it to Wicked Wrench. It was mid-morning on Saturday and we were in town for a funeral. Jerry and his amazing staff took us in and worked all weekend long to get us back on the road in record time. His son even drove to Des Moines to personally pick up the needed parts. Diagnosis: misfiring on all cylinders due to failed timing chains. Understandably, not a minor repair, but overall, I feel extremely fortunate for it not being worse (i.e., engine failure) and for the luck of having Jerry and his team available (and willing) to help me out. Thanks and if you guys ever move to IL, you'll be my lifetime go-to shop!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Oil change

They don't answer the phone, don't know where your keys are, (sent me to look for them), didn't fix the problem, but did give b.s. excuses.Did charge me after getting nothing fixed. Avoid this place.
