The most disgusting truck stop I have ever been to, and I loved every second of it.EDIT December 12th 2022:The horror movie aspect of this truckstop is completely gone.Today I came for another visit for the first time in a few months. I was disappointed to see newer, cleaner pumps, no camper out back, a large DEF tank, along with a new paintjob and door on the back of the building.Unfortunately the mens bathroom smelled good as well.It is for these reasons that I have deducted a star from my rating.I genuinely hope the previous owner is doing better. Also the hot water at the sink in the bathroom is near boiling temp, be careful.

My review will be one star . This truck stop is not clean bad customers service. I m a truck driver and I always stop here to stay here I leave in iowa . They are new owners really rude. The other owners was nice never said anything to no one about parking here . This guys told me that I can t park here no more than one day. But only there family , race can park here cause one of his family is a truck driver and he told that it was okay to park here he stay here for 3 day and more . Some times I have to stay here to reset my hours and I can t stay. Think about it to park here. Dirty place 259 hey 80 iowa

If this place has been improved I would have been afraid to see it before now.5 gallon buckets and some windshield cleaner would help. Fixing the burned out light at the entrance would help. The guy was inside cleaning late tonight, but the bathrooms are dirty. Replace or take down the disgusting fly traps in the restrooms. I wouldn t want to eat here after seeing all the flys stuck to the traps.I wish this place luck, but it s a no from me.There was one parking spot left at 11 pm that a guy was pulling in to.

Looks dangerous. The price sign visible from the highway is dim with loose wires hanging from it. One of the gas pumps seems to have been knocked loose and is sitting next to the station still plugged in. Potholes everywhere. I was going to get gas but decided against it for my own safety.

We stopped to walk our dog in designated area which could use some cleaning by picking up some trash. I ran inside to grab some oil. No full synthetic oil only blended. I'm not sure why the gentleman wasn't so friendly that was working. I tried to converse with him and smiled a few times..no reaction whatsoever.. not a greeting or thank you come back. Maybe just a bad day for him. My experience wasn't horrible but I won't stop there again either

Best gas price (regular) in hours. We asked for a pizza and they made it even though they were closing in a few minutes. They close at 10 pm. I can't speak for the showers or anything on the truckers' side but it was a decent fuel stop for the price. Traveling in our RV.

This place is a dump but I always stop here. It has a certain horror movie charm. There s always plenty of parking and the shelves are stocked well enough. I wonder about the small camp ground only accessible through their parking lot. Is that where the owners of this truck stop take their victims? Why would anyone ever camp there? So much mystery!

BEWARE! Dump, no showers after 6 pm or before 8 am.Can't hardly understand the kid working.Filthy dirty, old worn out, disgusting! Can tell they won't last much longer!Didn't stay, wouldn't stay! Gross!

Super nice and friendly staff! Store is looking great. Bulk DEF pumps now and are awesome. They are really trying to make this a great place, will stop every time I pass by.

One of the best diesel prices around! This store has a lot of improvements planned with replacing pumps, adding def dispensers aside the diesel, new fountain drink dispenser and renovating the diner across the lot amongst the improvements already completed by the newest owner within the past year.

Took shelter here during a large scary storm and the owner was really nice and making sure people were coming inside. Your kindness was much appreciated.

As a truck driver, this place is on the low end of the delapidated scale.Stopped here because of low fuel prices, but only 10 cents cheaper than the Caseys 2 miles away.Was worried that the fuel might not be very good. Asked another driver if he had been there before, he said no, and also admitted concern about quality of the fuel. As he was leaving he said he was curious about the "private shower". That was a goood laugh.162 miles later there were no known issues with fuel. Not sure it's worth the limited savings, but again, as a truck driver, you don't like making additional stops.Anyone with any insight on fuel quality should post/reply. If the fuel is good, I don't have a problem with the poorly kept premises. As a plus, the bathroom had paper towels and the dispenser worked )If I find out the fuel is good, I would give it 3 stars. After all, it is just a gas station..

Avoid. Rude employees. Will make you move as soon as u fuel. Can t pull up after fueling. They make you park the truck. Not worth stopping at.

If you have been looking for a terrible, run down truck stop come here. We made an emergency stop for the bathroom and I'm thankful it didn't require us to sit in the stall. It absolutely reaked of urine. Luckily we didn't need to make a purchase because there was nobody there.

If you're looking for a perfect, clean, spotless, truck stop, then go to a name brand truck stop, and quit complaining. The people are super friendly, unless you are rude to them. They have brought this little place up to a decent safe place to stop, get fuel and something to eat, and a quiet place to sleep. I stop here all the time when I run this direction.

I worked here for 7 months. Actually it was 3 months and then he changed my schedule so I didn't come in. He called me begging me to come back. I did! I loved my job. I was robbed at gunpoint in June and asked to turn in my key 2 days later.

This was the grossest gas station I have ever been to. I was most appalled by the condition of the women's bathroom. I talked to the two men that were working there, and neither apologized or initiated any interest in making sure the bathrooms were cleaned. This gas station needs to be inspected.

We stopped to use the bathroom and all I can day is ewwww gross. So dirty & scary staff. Looks like it came out of a horror movie. My son and I agreed that we would NEVER stop there again, no matter how bad we need a restroom.

Cheap diesel, plenty of room.Somewhat remodeled.Last time 2 out of 4 pumps didn't work.

When I first saw this place I didn't think it was open. The outside surroundings leave little to the imagination. However, inside you can still get everything that any gas station offers. Drinks, food, bathroom, etc. And yes even gas.

I've stopped here many times because the desiel is typically the cheapest on I-80 in Iowa. That is however, the only nice thing I can say about this place. It's FILTHY, always. The pumps are greasy and slimy. There are puddles of what looks and smells like pig slop in front of all of them. The windshield washer buckets are typically empty, and if you need to use the bathroom... there's a rest area about 10 miles East, it's worth the extra stop.

Plenty of parking for cats an trucks. There's about 5 quick food eateries inside ti choose from. Real slow right now. Oh, a convenience store also.

Nice people cheap fuel but there parking lot sucks and the entrance I ll say I hope no swift driver try s to get in there
