This place is amazing and so awesome to work with! I had my car on Turo (never again I know) and someone had crashed into my car. Not knowing what to do, I went to West Side Auto Body for a quote and told them my situation. They let me schedule my car to get fixed when the financials weren t figured out yet just to get me on the schedule and worked with me and Turo for the claim and supplemental charges. They made a stressful situation seem like nothing and now my car looks good as new. They even ensured it got an alignment when they found out it needed one! Thank you guys so much for your amazing work!

After getting a much higher estimate at Stew Hansen I had a very good experience at Westside Auto Body. The estimate was much lower (lower overhead here I m guessing) so I was able to keep my car from being totaled out by the insurance company - which is what I wanted. Now I can continue NOT having a car payment for a few more years.

My experience trying to use WSAB for an insurance claim was unfortunately incredibly negative. I attempted to use this shop based on their good reviews. My car sat there for a month on a pending insurance claim, and the insurer says it's because the shop did not provide their supplemental estimate until a month after arrival. I had previously called the shop and specifically asked if they had submitted their documentation to the insurer and that they had what they needed from the insurer and was told yes. I called at minimum once a week for updates and was consistently told that they were waiting for parts but that it was a couple of weeks out. A few times I called and was told I would receive a call back that never came, so I would call in again only to receive the same update. That's fine, waiting for parts makes sense, but I don't see how that stops the shop from providing their supplemental estimate in the meantime. They did not do so. when they finally did provide their supplemental estimate, the insurer came out the same day and declared my car a total loss. I will never use this shop again and I will inform people of my experience if asked; in my opinion their behavior (communication in particular) does not meet reasonable standards of professionalism.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I ve used west side auto for many things. This last time I got an estimate done in mid April. I was told they were going to order parts. I wait about 4 weeks I call to see if the parts are near being in, I m told they don t have an ETA and they ll call me when they are in. I wait 3 more weeks and call again. I m then told that I was called multiple times with messages left, I was not. I ask for them to reorder the parts and to call once again. I have still been waiting since. I called insurance to see if I could use the estimate that west side auto did for a different shop only to find out that they never even submitted the estimate.Service: Body & Trim

My son's truck encountered hail in July. Most of the work was done PDR, but they did have to do some additional work on the hood. The guys were so easy to work with and the work looks perfect! They took care of the insurance paperwork and all we had to do was come in and pay the deductible and take home our son's truck. Thank you for taking the hassle out of everything!Service: Painting

After some annoying insurance delays, West Side Auto Body had the body damage to my wife s car repaired quickly (even faster than promised).Excellent craftsmanship by very professional, courteous folks; from the receptionist to the owner. They even vacuumed and throughly armor all d the interior!These folks go above and beyond to make the customer happy and have my strongest recommendation for body repair.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I just want to say THANK YOU!! I had a long day today and with the snow that happened early this morning, I slide up into a snow bank and a small tag or something came out of my bumper, (not big at all). I noticed that all it needed was to be placed back in the bumper but I obviously didn't want to mess with it so I wanted to get an estimate.I called up West Side Auto Body and a very kind woman answered and told me to bring it in and when I got there a serviceman came out to look and was like, "Let me just grab some tools, this is an easy fix." And literally within 5 min. he was able to adjust and place the tag back under the bumper in it's place. Now, I KNOW there are body shops that would probably either 1. Tell me that I would have to replace the whole thing or 2. Charge me an insane amount. But the kind man at West Side Auto Body helped me and fixed it right there. (I wish I caught his name!)So all I have to say is, if you want to get your car fixed and are worried about being played, don't worry, you will be in good hands with the humble people at West Side Auto Body!!

This is a wonderful, family-owned, local business. They took care of a problem on our car and we could not be more pleased. The staff was warm, professional, prompt and the results were perfect; the price, more than fair. Turn to them for excellent service and good work.

I picked my car up today from repairs due to hail damage, the work done to my car was done well and it looks really nice, I am giving 3 stars due to the fact that they allow their employees to smoke cigarettes while working on your vehicle, it smelled absolutely awful and really strong even in the office area, in my honest opinion it should be against the law for an employee to smoke cigarettes in an establishment while working, even inside of a garage working on cars/suvs, patrons shouldn t have to smell cigarette smoke while waiting for their cars and some people are highly allergic to it as well, I also don t feel comfortable having someone smoke near my new car , I am a non smoker and I don t appreciate having someone smoke near my car while they are working and doing a so called professional job/ repair work, that second hand smoke can still go into the cars and that is absolutely disgusting not to mention highly unprofessional to even allow your workers to do it, unless you make your employees go to a designated area to smoke away from your business I will not bring my car back to your establishment for any future repair work, I will also be discussing this issue with my insurance company and the BBB.Services: Tires, Body & Trim

I had a sheared-off fastener on my truck topper and they put a new rivet in for me for free. I can't really rate their body work based on that but it was generous of them and showed great customer service. I'll be back if my truck needs real work done.

It was cold. It was dark. I was scared. My car was inoperable. Enter Rex from West Side Auto; all of my fears immediately went away. I was somehow warm again. It was like the sun came out at 8 pm. My car was taken away and I knew everything was going to be fine. Thanks again to Rex. I am now a West Side Auto Body loyal customer, should I ever find myself in this situation again.

They stand behind their work, and I respect that. West Side Auto Body replaced the bumper on our new Rav4 Limited 5 months before this review. Someone punctured the bumper with a shearing blow while it was parked on the street. The other party's insurance company selected West Side because they were close to where we live. West Side replaced the bumper and matched the color and finish perfectly. They scheduled an inspection within a few hours of my call to identify which parts to order. They scheduled a 2nd appointment to perform the body work several days later. They restored it to new condition. Last night, I noticed that a small portion of the bumper was coming unfastened around the wheel well below the driver's quarer pannel. I emailed them at 11:00pm to see if they could take a look. They called me at 8:10am the next morning and told me to bring it in for an inspection immediately. I'm impressed that hey stand behind their work and that they are so professional. Some folks get defensive if you ask a question. They are customer service oriented. Their office isn't "Franchise" Fancy, but their garage has the organized appearance of a place where people do real work. They remind me of the good 'old, small town body shops in rural Iowa where mechanics serve the community by doing good work at a fair price. From the results, I believe they take pride in their work... and that's rare today.

Nice friendly staff. I've had two deer accidents a few years back. Both times they worked directly with my insurance company saving me time and hassle. I was pleased with the quality of the repairs.
