I have been using this business for my oil changes for a few years. The staff, for the most part, has been friendly, courteous, and low-pressure. If you wait with your car, they have some nice amenities now, like recliners, soda/popcorn/snacks in the waiting room.

I wish I could give them more stars! We have used this location for oil changes, and they're always prompt and friendly. But today the service was over the top. The tire pressure light came on in my car and I couldn't figure out which one was low. A little panicked, I called and asked if I could come in to get it checked. I was told yes, and no appointment was needed, that they would fill up the tire and get me on my way. And that's exactly what happened - the tire was filled within minutes, with no charge. Beyond unexpected and absolutely wonderful. We'll be using this location for any future service. Great place.

Very quick to get my truck in and Very helpful all the employees I met and worked with very understanding and kind. Easily and definitely will he bringing Any and all of my business to this shop thank you freedom tire

My wife and I got a screw in the side wall of our tire. We went to Costco because we had a membership there, but they didn't have the tire and were not much help. After meeting with Freedom Tire, they ordered a new tire on Tuesday and it was there by Thursday morning. They also did not try to push anything extra on me like most tire centers. They could have tried to convince me to replace all of the tires, but they did not. I was very impressed with their service.

My family and I have been using Freedom Tire on Grand in West Des Moines for years to service our vehicles, and they consistently keep our best interests in mind. Recently my car has needed major repair and they go out of their way to find ways to save us money. As long as I am in the DSM area I will never go anywhere else!

By far one of the Greatest Shops in the West Des Moines Area, They are super quick and will work with you to resolve your issues! If you are needing any sort of Service done this is Definitely the place to go!

They recommended thousands of dollars in replacement parts and made many misrepresentations about the condition of the fuel tank. Save yourself the hassle and go to Firestone.

Excellent service and overall experience! Highly recommended! I work with a traveling Christian ministry based out of Columbus, Ohio and our van began having significant problems with a ball joint and also needed new front tires. The service was friendly, professional, thorough and at a great price! Based on my experience, I would happily recommend them to anyone!

Had my brother drop my car in for an oil change. Asked to get a call about my vehicle. Got one but missed. Called back when I had a minute. was not made aware of the issue at hand. Mark tried blaming me telling me it s frustrating they couldn t get ahold of me while I was at work. Do not recommend if you wanna be told you re frustrating.

My son drove in with a blown tire on my 72 land cruiser. The owner gave my son and daughter a ride home. Great service and exceptional attention to detail. Very grateful.

The staff at Freedom Tire is very informative and honest about what is wrong with your vehicle. They do not recommend unessessary service and always keep the customers budget in mind. They perform good service on all of my vehicles. The work is performed timely and correctly the first time. I do not hesitate to refers others to their shop.

I own a 2005 Honda Accord. Over last 5 years Freedom Tire has changed my starter, replaced front and rear tires, done oil changes, and free inspections for maintenance. Mark and crew at Freedom Tire always do excellent work at a fair price for parts 'n' labor.

They went out of their way to be extra helpful to fix my Jeep. Didn't try to over charge me, or get me to fix things that it didn't need. If anything...they didn't charge me for some of the work, because it was inexpensive to them, and my bill was already so high. My whole family brings our vehicles here now...and NOWHERE else...

I have a unique car (tesla model x) that uses unique tires that aren t anywhere in town. These guys went out of their way to not only rush the tires into the shop but also fit me in even though they were extremely busy. They showed me everything along the way and could not have been more professional and efficient. Highly recommend and will be back.

Mark the manager was incredibly rude to me on the phone. He told me I didn t know what I was talking about, even though I worked as a mechanic intern for 3 years. He told me he was too busy deal with me and hung up on me. I promptly went into the store to find him speaking with another customer and making jokes at my expense. I asked the other associate if they could please reset my tire pressure sensors. They checked the pressure and told me that they would attempt to reset sensors, but were unable to. All in all, I felt disrespected as a woman and a customer. I own my own business and I would never hang up on a customer. Let alone act like they don t know what they re talking about.

This place is a joke and you should not waste your time.I ve taken 2 different cars to this place to have the oil changed by them. The first car I took there, they got me with an add-on stupid me but I understand everyone needs to make a profit. They also gave me a quote of a list of things that needed to be done to my car. I know it wasn t in the best of shape but $2000 for stuff that didn t need to be fixed is ridiculous. I took a second car there while the other was being repaired (for an issue that was NOT on their quote) and they told me that my rear brakes didn t work. They gave me an obscene quote of over $1500 just to replace the brakes. This car wasn t mine so I let the owners know and they told me they would take care of it. I proceeded to drive the car knowing the brakes were faulty. I took the car in again to have a second oil change because I was passed due. They gave me another quote for just over $1000 saying I needed a sensor for my oil or something and sway bar links (which was not on the first quote) and said my rear brakes were FINE!! What the hell?! You just told me 3 months ago that I was in desperate need of new rear brakes and I didn t change them?

I had an appointment at 11:00 this morning to get new tires. I showed up early, they got me in and I was done and home in under an hour. The cost was what tbey had told me on the phone, to the penny, and everyone was friendly and did a great job. I highly recommend this store.

Great place, had 4 new tires put on with an alignment and oil change. They did all this is 1 and 1/2 hours. It was done correctly and I'm extremely satisfied. I will recommend these guys to anyone. Thanks Freedom Tire.

They give great customer service! As someone on a fixed income I appreciate getting a reasonable cost on repairs plus their prioritizing the things that need to be immediately fixed and those I can save for. I always recommend them to friends.

My husband and I always come here to have our tires changed. We both have snow and ice tires on during the winter and once spring arrives we come here to change to summer. Great service every time! The only thing I wish was to be able to purchase bottled water, since one might get a little thirsty during the wait.

Needed a tire for a trailer. They ordered it and received in a few hours. Went to get it mounted and put in the trailer, only took about 20 mins. Great work and customer service!!

I take all my cars here, and have never had any issues with them. They are always fast, professional, and explain any issues the car is having. I will be dropping my car off later today and I know I will get it back in better shape than when I dropped it off!

Amazing customer service. I went in there with my fat tire for my bicycle that I was trying to seat to the rim. I have seated it in the past at home with my little air compressor and even tried the local service station, but could not get it to seat. As a last ditch effort I stopped in to ask of they could help me out. Not only did they seat a bicycle tire for me, they didn't charge me anything to do it.

On the way to work today, my vehicle started to shake. I went to Freedom Tire, because their service has been exceptional in the past. They were quickly able to get me back on the road in a matter of minutes. THANK YOU FREEDOM TIRE!
