I urgently needed new low beam headlamps and couldn t wait for the lengthy dealer appointment. That s when I found Terry from Fast T s Mobile Automotive. Though initially reached their voicemail due to a family event, my follow-up call was met with immediate response. Terry was at my house the very next day, showcasing remarkable responsiveness. The quality of service, from the swift installation to their transparent communication, was exceptional. What truly sets Fast T s apart is their integrity, a rare find in the automotive service industry. They ve earned my highest recommendation and a permanent spot on my speed dial.

In this age where quality customer service is so hard to find, Fast T s was a breath of fresh air. It started with the initial phone call. Terry was very polite and patient as he answered my plethora of questions. He was very upfront about his pricing and what to expect. He showed up right on time and his communication was on point. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me. He bent over backwards to make sure I was satisfied. I would highly recommend Fast T s. What a great company! I needed a simple jump start as my nearly brand new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L has had issues with something mechanical/electrical draining the battery if it would sit for 1.5 days or more. It has been to the Dealership to try and fix this issue 4 times under warranty, with 30 hours of troubleshooting being done on one occasion. Usually I drive it most every day, but occasionally I get a surprise no-start in my garage and every business/vacation trip where I leave it at the airport, I come back to a dead vehicle. Very frustrating!Not only did Terry jump start my vehicle, he researched my issue via google/trade websites and told me to tell the local Jeep dealership how to fix it! He mentioned that this is a fairly common issue and I need to replace the rear latch motor to the trunk/hatch that keeps running when it sits idle causing a parasitic drain. Voila! I finally have a reliable vehicle! Not even the Jeep technicians could find this. I was ready to call this vehicle a lemon and go to Jeep corporate next if something more wasn t done, but thanks to Terry, this vehicle I LOVE is finally fully reliable!Thanks Terry!I highly suggest you use Fast T s for multiple problems! WOW! What a life saver. I called Terry and left a message and within 5 minutes he called me back and told me he was on his way! When arriving he was so kind and professional! He diagnosed the problem, was very transparent on pricing and had my battery fixed within 30 minutes or less. After completion, he called me and went over everything that was done on the car. He told me to call him if something was not to my satisfaction and he would return to look at it again for no charge! I am beyond impressed! I was told my truck had misfires in cylinder 4 and 7. He suggested a tune up. Plugs and wires. Upon my arrival home, he was still working on the vehicle. He informed me that the coil to #4 cylinder was broken and he had to fish the parts out of the head and replace the coil. He then finished the tune up. He started the truck and it had a new bad wire and was making noise it wasnt before. He needed to come back next day to reset computer and change the faulty wire. I paid 890.00 since I was going to be going out of town that day. 2 days later he said it was fixed. I arrived back on sunday and the truck had no engine light on but still idled and ran rough. on monday the engine light came on and started flashing showing a hard misfire. I parked it and sent pic and messages to Fast ts. Numerous attempts were made on Tuesday and wed to reach the company via text, calls, and voicemail. No return at all. I had another shop tow it in and diagnose. They said all cylinders were misfiring some but 4 and 7 were still worse. 4 had a broken coil. So either Fast T did not replace it as said, or they did and broke the new one. Either way I should not have had to pay for that. Fast T is ghosting me and I am very dissatisfied with the service. The problem was resolved with all 8 coils being replaced by Honest Wrenches which cost me another 3000. Fast T should reimburse me the cost of labor and parts for the coil. They lied about fixing it or did faulty repairs and broke it putting new one on.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

I had a great experience with Fast T's! My truck battery was old and would not charge and he came out and had it fixed within an hour. Terry was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I can t say enough good things about this service. Terry was an excellent communicator. We were in a bit of a bind. My dad is in assisted living, my mom passed this week and we needed the vehicle running for out of town family to use. I called on Friday, he was here on Saturday and before we knew it the car was up and running. Thanks again for this valuable service!Service: Battery

Let my car die, so my clicker didn't pop the lock. Saw good reviews for Terry, so I called. He said he'd be there in 5-10 minutes... Showed up in 3.5! Got there and had my door open in 2 more minutes. Awesome attitude and an all-around decent guy. I jumped my own vehicle with my mini charger, but it still wouldn't start. So he tried with his charger; still nothing. Then I realized the alarm just needed reset, and Terry was still happy to help me with that problem for free. Great service, great guy, great price. Would have bought him a beer too, but he got another call! So hopefully I can get him one later! Thx Terry!UPDATE TO OLDER POST: 09/01/18 The Man treated me right and timely once before, so I remembered him for my next need a year later. He fixed my old auto with an issue most garages wouldn t touch because I wanted to use my own parts. Once again, Terry was 5 stars on: Timeless, Service, Competence / Ability, Friendliness, Cost and most importantly, Trustworthiness. I consider him a friend now. Will always call upon him when I can, and gladly recommend his services to anyone.

It is not difficult to find a mechanic who knows his stuff, but it is rare to find a mechanic who not only knows his stuff but also has a servant heart, compassion, empathy and integrity! Terry of Fast T's is all of the above. Thankful for his help in a cold Sunday afternoon to rebuild my rear brakes in a hotel parking lot. He not only showed me a true mechanic's skills, but also inspired me by sharing his own life wisdom. I had a great several hours sitting side by side with him, watching him at work, talking with him. Thank you Terry for your help and I recommend him to anyone who needs a mechanic that you can trust. - Scott

If we could give 10 stars we would. Our car was having engine issues which didn't really start until Sunday morning. With both of us working we can't be limited to one vehicle. I looked on line for a mechanic on Sunday. Fast T Mobile service came up.....we were in a pinch and decided to call. We were amazed...not only did he come to us to service our vehicle , he did so quickly. We he left our vehicle ran better than it ever had. Fast affordable reliable honest and knowledgeable ! We will call again !

Professional. Personable. Reliable. Affordable. Honest. All words to describe Terry at Fast T's.I was on my way to work this morning, and the curb got the best of my tire... After doing a quick Yelp search, I came across Fast T. I called Terry, he asked if I was alright and not in any danger, after letting him know I was fine and in a safe location, he worked me in his scheduled right away. About an hour after I called, he came over - surveyed the damage, called the tire shop, told me upfront all the costs for repair, he found a match - took my tire, got the new one all ready from the tire shop and before I knew it, he was back putting my tire on at my location.Terry really did save the day - it did not cost me any time away from work just by not having to A) put on the tiny spare, finding a tire shop, and having to take time off work or B) having it towed to a tire shop, having to wait around for a tire to be available and taking time off work. If you want top-notch service, give Terry a call - you will definitely not regret your decision! He not only does tires, but a lot of other minor (sometimes major depending on your take! lol) repairs as well, and will provide an estimate before taking on the job - he also has a nifty website to peruse that displays his wide array of services.Thank you, Terry and Fast T's for turning this customers frown upside down! :)

I had the type of morning that ruins most peoples' days: Car wouldn't start. It was a nightmare trying to think of towing costs and who to even tow it to. I moved to the Des Moines area as of last year and hadn't found a mechanic yet. Under pressure to find someone, I used OpenBay, which matched me to this company. It was a blessing I found Fast T's because not only do they drive to YOU (so no towing costs!), but they're SUPER friendly and awesome to work with! There was no pressured feelings or a worry things could go wrong. I was in good hands! And he got it done so fast. It's not every day you get same day (a couple hours!) service! Had I gone the whole towing-it-to-a-shop route who knows how long it would have taken to get my car back and how much more I would have paid. So all-in-all: Reliable! Friendly! Cost-Efficient! Fast! I highly recommend Fast T's! Give them a try.

Uhhh, WOW! We thought we needed a new alternator and were just happy to find someone to come out on a Sunday afternoon to fix it. Once he got everything taken apart he found another much easier issue to fix. He was extremely honest and up front about everything and saved us so much money!! Super nice, fast, honest, available on a Sunday afternoon and all from the comfort of my own driveway! Unbelievable service.

Just wanted to leave a quick review for Terry. He was awesome. I'm from Texas and was passing through Des Moines. I broke down south of Des Moines on my way back to Texas. This was late on a Saturday night. He answered my phone, talked to me and made me feel more comfortable about my situation, and then directed me to a good towing location (a part store). He then waited for me and met me very late at that location a few hours later, where he diagnosed my car and confirmed that it was a bad alternator. I paid the service call and gave him my key so he could repair it in the morning. The following morning, he got there at about 8:00am on a Sunday and worked on my car all morning. He fixed the alternator, a leaking power steering part, and changed my alternator belt. He did a great job, his charges were very reasonable, and because of him I was able to get back to Texas and get to work by Monday morning. Thanks so much Terry for your help!

Terry provided excellent service! I got a prepurchase check on a vehicle and he went above and beyond. Spent 2 hours checking out every bit of the car, test drove it, explained in detail what he was doing, why, and what he found. Very friendly, thorough, and affordable! A true honest mechanic.

By far the Overall best mechanic in Iowa possibly the Midwest!! Fast, reliable, trustworthy, responsive and 100% genuine!!! I ve never been taken care of better any where in the United States of America!! Love this company!! This is the only place I m going to be bringing my vehicle from now on... Terry is the best!!! This gentleman is truly one of the nicest and honest people I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. He was incredibly fast and had me up and running in less then 2 hours. I told him the fuel pump was bad...and he could have easily been dishonest with me...but he wasn't. He cared about the total price that he presented to me and was completely honest with what was wrong and he went the extra mile to fill up my tires and fix older trouble codes. I will highly suggest this gentleman in the future going on! Thanks man!

Professional and Courteous service provided Terry!! Very nice in explaining the issue with original alternator, replaced with new one (offered 2 years warranty for labor/part, competitive price too) onsite which was very convenient (avoided towing, going to repair shop, waiting etc.). My wife and i were returning from a great vacation, but the trip home was filled with delays and multiple problems causing us to be about five hours behind getting home. Exhausted, I went to the car in the airport ramp only to find a dead battery. I googled towing services and noticed Fast T's site so decided to give it a try. The service really was fast, and upon arrival I was relieved to have someone who was friendly and professional. I had problems jump starting this car before (The rear door doesn't always shut tight leaving the dome on) so I was shown how this car needed to be jumped (a little trick to it) which will likely save me frustration later. I was never so happy to receive such fine service especially when we were so tired and just wanting to go home with no more problems. I cannot thank Terry enough for making things easy and right. Good to know this service is available.

So I found myself in a real pickle having a total wheel bearing failure on my boat trailer. Stuck in my driveway with no chance of driving trailer to any repair shop I reached out to Terry on Tuesday afternoon and by Wednesday early afternoon my trailer was fixed and in better shape than even when it was new. Seriously in this day and age that is service way beyond what one expects. What a great guy offering services that we all need at some point at affordable prices. I am so happy to have found his service and highly recommend it to those in need. Thanks Terry!

Words are not enough to express my appreciation to Terry and his road side assistance. He being a 'stranger', and I a woman alone, I was very comfortable with him. Very kind, professional, fast, price was nice, and he didn't close up at 5:30. He actually finished my vehicle at 7pm! I would trust him with my daughters lives. With out screaming out loud, Terry is THE REAL deal, just like they used to make them, and the way it should be. I couldn't be happier and all my family and friends will know his name.

My Dodge Avenger broke down on Friday and I called Fast T based off the high reviews and I was not disappointed! He showed up quickly and diagnosed the problem fast. My car was fixed and I was back on the road within just a few hours. Very friendly, very efficient! I would definitely recommend this service!

Wasn't good about returning initial phone call ,called on the Saturday didn't hear anything at all from him until Monday and then I had to call him first he didn't answer but called me back... finally showed up on a Monday got charged outrageous price and all he did was scan to find codes on car that might be causing not starting problem and then he left promising he'd be back the next day to do a tune-up that would have been on Tuesday didn't see him again until saturday with broken promises not showing up on Tuesday excuses for not showing up on Thursday and Friday... still have not heard from him. If I could give him a 0 star rating I would
