Son s truck died at Sam s Club tonight at 7:50pm. Called Ray Mount at 7:59pm after jumping was unsuccessful. By 9pm I was headed back home and Fernando was headed to Boubin s to drop the truck off after hours. Fernando took care of the rest of the process and did helluva job. He explained next steps clearly and the Ray Mount tracking system kept me updated throughout the process. I could not have asked for a better experience and was honestly blown away by Fernando s professionalism, ability, and positive attitude. Well done Ray Mount and well done Fernando. I highly recommend Ray Mount if you need a tow. Thank you!

Had a great experience with Ray Mount Wrecker Service. I called first thing in the morning and they had a truck out to me within 45 minutes. Fernando was great and very professional. Every person I interacted with was pleasant and if I ever need them again I will definitely call them first.

First, they answered the phone immediately, then the wrecker arrived 20 mn later !! Their driver Jonah had a great personality, and was very professional. My dog (and my keys) got locked in my vehicle when it was 10 below zero! AAA didn't find it an emergency neither did Waterloo police. I'm fact they refused to help me. I called Ray Mount and Junior was out in about 10 minutes! He was done within 5 minutes and my precious Moana was saved! Cannot say enough wonderful things about this company and their employees!! Recommend them !!

Thank you all! You saved my life, was literally here in minutes from me making the call! The man Jesse Junior you guys sent out was funny, easy going and above all else, helpful. Was done in five minutes, gave me a chuckle and made me not feel so bad for spending money on my own stupidity of leaving the lights on.

Jonah was awesome. He rescued me in the middle of the night with no heat In Waterloo Iowa In February. The guy is 24 years old and he performed his tasks like an old veteran, which is what I am. This kid has a bright future.

MAJOR SCAMMERS! My husband totaled his car in an accident on Tuesday at 4:45 pm. The police officer who came to the scene called Ray Mount Wrecker, with whom they apparently have an arrangement. My husband did not recall having been asked where he wanted them to take the car, they just told him they were taking it to their lot. When I called the company at 11:15 am the day after the accident to ask about retrieving the car, I was told that it would cost me $907. (Included in the list of charges was a fee for 2 days of storage of the vehicle, which had been there for less than a day.) I was absolutely floored by this, as any other time I had a vehicle towed it was less than $100, so objected to the amount. After learning that the car was going to be scrapped, the woman told me she could bring the price down by adjusting some things. The final total she gave me was $542, which had to be paid in CASH. (I would only be getting $200 for the car from the salvage yard) There were some items in the car that have sentimental value to my husband, so I asked if I could just retrieve those, but the answer was no. I prefer to work with businesses who have compassion for people, not those who take advantage of them in their most vulnerable moments. I do NOT recommend, and would give 0 stars if it were an option!Service: Car towing

Was told they would pick my truck up at 9:30 am didn't show up until 2:00 did not inform me they wouldn't be on time so I ended up missing my appointment at the shop

I couldn t be more impressed and happy with the service I received today from everyone at Ray Mount. My sons car broke down and they came and saved us. Then driving it home from the shop it died again. Ray Mount to the rescue. I had the pleasure of getting Heather on the phone and she got Fernando out to help me ASAP both times. Fernando was a blessing and has no idea how much he made my day. Thank you Fernando and Heather for being so nice and helpful.Service: Car towing

If i could give zero stars I would. In my opinion it's a criminal enterprise. They won't let you get your items out of the vehicle. Just stealing and ridiculous charges. It's the absolute worst.

Fernando was very friendly, cracking jokes the whole time he was helping with my vehicle. he made small conversation the whole time to the shop, making the ride very comfortable. He even offered to drive me home so I wasn t staying outside for a few hours for my ride. Towed my car from an accident caused by someone else I called two days to get price to move my car 980 and couldn't even get my belongings out of car they are straight criminals stole my car and my belongings crooks and thief lady even said thats what you get for only having liability then actually said for me to bring my tittle to them what horrible people taking advantage and causing insurance rates to be so jigh

Beware! HORRIBLE SERVICE! Had car towed to my address. Had friend take me home to my address. As I arrived tow driver was finished unloading car in gravel private property that was not where I addressed driver to drop off car at tome of pick up. Driver was rude and lazy. Headed excuse that he could not drop off car in a 4 wide lane driveway, where many trucks have come to pick up car. As I had to have friend pay another service to tow after receiving a Warnijg from said property owner at different location.Called and spoke to secretary Heather who was told me I'd have to wait to speak to owner Bob. Monday comes, I call back, Heather gives phone to manager Jessie.Jessie was extremely disrespectful, arguing that I said I said have car put where driver left it for his convience. Jessie, also refused to refund tow after not towing vehicle to proper address. Jessietold me he would refund me only .50 cents. Extremely unintelligent, worse customer service I've received from a local business, instead of fixing problem Jessie told me to use Sheetz towing. Jessie refused to let me speak with owner Bob due to Jessie's ignorance of understanding business and customer service. They negligently did the wrong job. BBB will be contacted as well. DO NOT USE RAYMOUNT towing. I work retail and have warned people of my nasty experience with Raymount services. An ex employee agreed that the business is negligent and other customers were appaled and sincere enough to apologize for raymounts mistake and not to use their services in the future.Also Bob, if you were a man of integrity running this business you would correct the mistake your employees have made. Word of mouth is more important than another person being neglected by Raymount towing.Service: Car towing

Fernando was a great guy. Helped me move my truck to a safer spot fast and was just a all around friendly guy. I highly recommend calling them if you need a wrecker for your heavy duty vehicles. If I break down again in this area I know who I'll be calling back to help

If I could give them a negative review I would. They tried fi charge me over $600 to tow my sons wrecked car 1 block just because it was an accident call from the police. It took him 5 minutes to wench it up on the truck. They knocked it down to $370 - so generous.Service: Car towingService: Car towing

The Kenworth I was driving had some electrical issues on US 20. I called Ray Mount. They sent out the big wrecker within 30 minutes. Driver did some skilled driving to get off the highway to back up to my truck. They had the drive shaft out and hooked up within 15 minutes. 10 minutes later we were at the dealership for repairs. They worked with the service department to make sure the truck was placed in safe secure spot. From phone call to drop off was just over an hour. Quick, fast, professional service. I was impressed. Prices were reasonable as well. Thanks again for saving my butt and getting me out of a dangerous situation quickly.Service: Special vehicle towing

There aren't too many situations more stressful than having a vehicle break down in an unfamiliar city , two hundred miles away from home..As fate happened , I got lucky by calling Ray Mount Wrecker Service instead of the other half dozen services operating in the Waterloo , Iowa metro....I have never had a Wrecker service come to my rescue so fast... In under one half Hour ..The tow truck driver sent out was a very knowledgeable operator named Fernando . When I say knowledgeable, I mean ,he just simply knew how to properly and carefully hook up my special very expensive vehicle .That alone helped relieve much of the stress I was feeling...Fernando's level of professionalism and friendliness was absolutely outstanding...Should you ever find yourself at the side of the road , with a broken down motor vehicle ,,in Waterloo Iowa do yourself ,a favor and call Ray Mount Wrecker Service.....and ask them to send out Fernando.....You'll be glad that you did....Service: Special vehicle towing

I had to have my car towed after hitting a deer, and I had a wonderful and fast towing service using Ray Mount Wrecker Service INC. My driver was Chad and he was very polite, helpful, and we appreciated the work he did after our accident.
