Took a 2012 Mini Cooper Countryman to the new owner Drake and his team at Import Autowerks for a prepurchase inspection. They exceeded my expectations- a Saturday appointment, done on time, thorough write up and a very reasonable price. I actually live a couple hundred miles away so it s not like I ll be a repeat customer but instead of over charging he made me feel like a regular. I called and asked about a Ford Flex they had. I told them we lived 5 hours away and asked if it was mechanically ok and if needed anything. Was told o2 sensor and right front wheel bearing. Otherwise was in excellent mechanical shape. We drove up the night before and stayed in a motel. The next morning we went to the shop. Had few other cosmetic issues not shown well in pictures but we test drove anyway. I got 2 blocks and turned back around. The transmission was slipping and some of electrical switches weren't working proper. The salesman was on phone and shut door in my wife's face. We dropped key on desk and left. Luckily found another Flex in great condition at a lot on the way home.

Mechanic at the place was very personable and friendly in showing me some cars there as the salesman/owner was gone for the day. Besides the nice mechanic, to be honest, I'd be very careful buying a car from there. Cars there may look decent but all have issues not disclosed and some may be serious and costly issues if bought and paid for before they arise.

I called previously before coming there to make sure they still have the vehicle he said that the vehicle ran and drove very smoothly. When I got there after driving for two and a half hours I took it for a test drive and there was so much wrong with it not only did the motor knock but every time we hit a bump in the road you could hear there was problems with the ball joints. The dealer that we dealt with I was trying to be very polite and was trying to help but seems very high strung and acted like he was on drugs. Then when he took us to another car lot that this dealership works with he was telling his life story come to find out he was freshly off drugs and was driving like a maniac I do not recommend this place to anyone it looks like The Chop Shop. Every single one of the vehicles head physical damage to it do not go here

Me and my 16 year old daughter went in there to buy a car she liked. We were told it ran great and there was nothing mechanically wrong with this car. The owner said she was going to buy it for her kids if we didn t buy it, which we now know was a lie. It was in such poor shape and they knew that but refused to make it right. We took it to an honest certified mechanic and he told us any honest car dealership would have thrown this car off their lot and it looks like they had it running just enough to sell it. We had to buy a new head, put a cam phaser in it, and we re still not done. The oil was literally running with the coolant. How could an honest mechanic not notice this? My teenager worked hard for her money and she got completely taken advantage of by adults that knew better. Our mechanic called up there and the owner offered to have their mechanic fix it after the work was done! How could he possibly fix it? We were told he fixed it before it was sold! And then it breaks down after less than a week! Good mechanic they got there! For whoever is reading this, please don t waste your money there. They are junk cars that are only fixed just enough for you to get home so they can collect a profit off of somebody who puts their trust in them like my poor teenage daughter that literally cried her eyes out over this. They really don t care about their customers.If people want to come shop here I highly suggest paying your local trustworthy mechanic to ride along with you, and tell Autopro you want to put it on a hoist, for your mechanic to look over. If they refuse, I wouldn t do business with them, because more than likely, they re trying to sell you a lemon.

Terrible customer service. Of course they act like they care when trying to get you to buy a car. Told me the car only needed one thing fixed when it needed much more than that. Went up to complain to them and they called the police kn me to have me removed. I understand they are used cars but there's no need to lie about the issues wrong with it. Don't waste your time or money with these people. I see why they average a 2.5 review.

I saw an add online for a good looking truck here, and called up to check it out. I was told it was a good, solid, reliable vehicle. His exact words were it "runs and drives great". So I drove all the way up there(I live a ways away) to take a look. When I got there, I discovered that the truck in question DIDN'T HAVE A MOTOR IN IT! How can a truck run and drive "great" without a MOTOR IN IT? A complete waste of my time, gas, and effort, coupled with VERY poor salesmanship. Auto "Pros" is not a very accurate title. I would not suggest this run down hole of a used car dealership to ANYONE.

The guys at import autowerks, are fast and very educated when it comes to fixing about anything on a car or truck. I d trust them more than anyone around to. They also have unbeatable prices

I've read other reviews of this place and now have had my own experiences due to them being the only ones for my service at the time. Very unprofessional. I called for their working hours and made the trip only to find they were closed way earlier than was said. Gas and time wasted! If you were smart enough to read this before possibly doing business there, you won't make the mistake of giving them your business.

If I could do negative stars I would! I traded my car for a 2005 Pacifica to fit my 3 young children in carseats. On my way home with the Pacifica I just got... with my newborn in the car the gas tank went from full to empty, all I could smell was gas in the car, had all the windows rolled down. We were almost home. I called to let them know what was going on and told them I wanted my old car back, was told I could pick it up that weekend. Went to put gas in it since we thought it was just a broken gas gauge since the catalytic converter was broke leaking exhaust into the car. We filled the tank and 20 gallons of gas leaked all over the parking lot. Fire department showed up said there was a crack in the gas tank which was sealed with Bondo. The fire department said we were lucky the car didn't catch on fire since the leak was right next to the exhaust system. Had the car towed back to Waterloo. Went to get my car back because I was told I could have it back only to find out my car wasn't there. The detailer that works there took my car home even though he doesn't have a license. The girls that work in the office had to hunt him down to get my car back. When I got my car back my check engine light was on and there was over 200 extra miles on my car! This is the most unprofessional and shady dealership I have ever come across! Awful, awful experience!

Looking at a 2004 Audi A8. Complete waste of time. 2.5 hour drive to get there and the car was complete junk. Not worth half of what they wanted. Grossly misrepresented. Engine had severe knocking at startup, interior was shot, air suspension is messed up. MMI computer and screen dont work, passenger seat not functional. Not enough room here to list all that wasn't disclosed. Awful... don't waste your time, this dealer doesn't have any ethics. If there were negative stars I would use them.

I bought my g6 a year ago. Yeah they are a bit of a ripped off and the car is rigged to the t. Suprise that it still runs but then again I go to the mechanics that closer to me to get work done on my car. Won't trust their mechanics though.
