We had a great experience working with Scott Thurn at C&S to purchase our 2024 Subaru Forester Wilderness. We were coming in from out of state which I expected to complicate things but Scott made the process very easy for us. He was upfront and honest about pricing, never pressured us, and had great communication the entire time leading up to the purchase. On the day of purchase at the dealer, he had everything organized and ready to go and nothing had changed from whatvwe had negotiated. Financing through Subaru at the dealership was quick and easy as well. We are really happy with the experience and would highly recommend Scott and the C&S team.

My daughter purchased her first car from Scott Thurn yesterday. Everything was amazing and Scott was a terrific salesperson. She found the car she wanted in the morning and was driving it home in the afternoon.The finance department did a great job explaining everything to her and even got a lower interest rate over other dealerships.

My credit was very poor and needed a vehicle and had went to other places and would not give me the time or day. Cory H from the Waterloo dealership sent me a message and said he can help. I said my credit is very poor and nobody else can help. Cory said they can get me approved. Well my son and I went there this afternoon and I should of believed what Cory was telling me. I got the payments to what I said I can do and said I do not need anything fancy. I got to deal with Cody's brother Cory and he made it happen. I just got a 2017 Ford Escape.I can not thank these guys enough for everyone working together to make it happen!! They all worked together and even stayed late so I could drive it home tonight!!

I worked with Scott and my experience has been nothing less than spectacular. I had shopped around a fair bit for a good deal (Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota) but Scott always had the best deal (even in these trying times of inventory shortage). He always looked our for me and made sure that I was properly served. Scott, thank you for being an amazing sales rep. C&S is lucky to have you on their team. I will be sending a LOT of my colleagues to him for future business for sure.

I had an average to below average experience at C & S. The salesman was amazing and made things easy. However, after I made it home I realized two things;1. The car was behind on service. How can this be possible at a dealership? In addition I was told the GM s wife was driving the car. I purchased the vehicle with 12,600 miles.2. It was missing a cover for the hitch in the rear.When I reached out to request an oil change I was told The GM is uninterested in crediting an oil change . And after nearly a week no response on the hitch cover panel. This was my first and will be my last purchase from C & S. With this service I m not sure how they have kept a good name in the greater Waterloo area.

I purchased a new Subaru Crosstrek from Scott. He was extremely helpful and gave a fair price. When the car came in and was ready to be picked up, I was not able to make it to Waterloo and he organized to have it delivered directly to me, two hours away, the very next day. I highly recommend Scott and C & S Subaru!

I was traveling from South Dakota to Iowa City when my engine light went on in my 2022 Outback . I contacted Scott who assured me that they would scan my vehicle. He met me at the door, my vehicle was scanned and I was on my way in 20 minutes. Great Service!Thanks to Scott and Dave Wright Subaru

Just moved from florida and noticed an oil leak on my 2021 WRX. Just purchased the vehicle ah month ago and the C&S subru is claiming modifications and accident which was both false. It has been over a week the service person will not give me an update on my vehicle being repaired, which is forcing me to pick up my vehicle without being serviced.

The people I dealt with were just fine but don't expect to get the options you ask for. 8 months since I ordered my Outback and I still do not have the transmission cover plate and the CD player...there is no ETA at this time. The Thule kayak carrier was not what the option description stated. The dealership substituted another model that does not function the same way necessitating the purchase of another Thule kayak carrier which I purchased online for $100 less than the same carrier the dealership installed. The vehicle delivers at least 4 mpg average less than rated when driven conservatively during a recent 971 mile trip that was mostly highway miles. Overall initial quality of the base vehicle is quite good.

What great people to deal with. The made buying a car easy. Most of the transactions were handled through email and they were so quick to respond to questions. Honest and straight forward deal, and they did all the work. Worth the drive and time to work with this dealership.

We have purchased eight Subaru's from C&S. We love Subaru's! We had an excellent buying experience with Patty Coleman from C&S. She got us exactly what we wanted even during these difficult times getting a car.She gave us information we needed. She wasn't ever pushy, but very good at communicating about the new 2022 Forester features. We would highly recommend you stop and visit with her, and get a great car.

I have worked with several Subaru dealerships in the past, including countless salesmen who have clearly been there to make a quick buck off of me or who kind of beat around the bush to "make you feel good" about your purchase, but don't truly have YOUR best interest at heart. For the past two Subaru's I have owned I have worked with Cody; a very talented Subaru employee. Every time I have worked with Cody he has been honest, straight to the point, and down right genuinely friendly and helpful. He even messaged me on his vacation regarding a question I had on my extended warranty. Cody really puts a great face on C&S and on the Subaru enterprise as a whole. I will definitely be doing business with this dealership in the future thanks to Cody and their amazing staff. Good luck finding your next Subaru! And a special thank you to Cody for his top-notch level of professionalism and diligence! :)

Our experience with C&S was excellent. We worked with the car salesman ,Shawn, and he made our car buying experience very smooth. He was very knowledgeable about the Subaru's they had in stock. We were very impressed that they do not charge to ship in a car if you want a specific color. I would highly recommend them for your car buying experience!

C & S offered to pick up my vehicle, do the work, and return the car to me without my having to drive to the facility. Most of the work was covered by warranty, but the remainder I was able to pay for over the phone. This was all very convenient, and I think C & S may have even cleaned the interior a little and washed the car. I was very happily surprised by the service.

Over charged us and our Warranty Company. Problem not fixed after 3.5 hour wait. Told it was fixed. Light came back on and car still running rough. When contested, Told us couldn't finish repair that day to come back. Warranty company warned to not let them charge a 2nd diagnostic fee. As job was marked completed on their end. Even though it was NOT completed. We'll see how the 2nd appt goes. They do not communicate well either.

Vehicle shopping is one of our favorite things to do. We enjoy looking at different makes & models, comparing the bells and whistles, kicking tires and comparing prices. We look all over central Iowa. That said, we've purchased at least half a dozen vehicles from C&S. We NEVER start there, because it's gotten to the point that we ALWAYS end there, and we enjoy the journey too much! They have a great inventory, and when they haven't had exactly what we've wanted, they've bent over backwards to find what we wanted. And their pricing is VERY competitive. Their service department is great. Any issues have been quickly resolved. Couldn't be happier. :)

The C& S sales team reached out to me immediately after my online initial inquiry about 2019 Outbacks. They set up an appointment time for me to come since I was coming from 90 miles away. Staff greeted me at the curb and helped me find a parking space. My appointment was prompt and they were prepared. All staff including the initial greeters, Scott in sales, and Justin in financing were extremely friendly,courteous and easy to work with. As a female buyer they were very respectful, answered All of my questions, and took me seriously. I drove home in my new Subaru Outback that very same day! It was worth the 90 mile drive to work with them and I would highly recommend them.Sara

After visiting 12 other dealers in our search for a vehicle, C&S proved not only the have a good price for the vehicle we wanted, but treated us as fellow humans. No one was pushy and all listened to what we were looking for in a vehicle.Nearly a year later I can still say I'm pleased with the value & quality of the vehicle we bought at the price settled upon.Cory also took the time to contact us about a cell phone we left in our trade in vehicle which had meaningful family photos we thought lost.We drove an hour and a half to this dealership because of a co-workers recommendation. The drive was worth it vs the local dealership. Needless to say, we will be back again when we need another vehicle.

Great experience. We were in a big time crunch and had to get a deal done on a new car.Travis listened to what we were hunting for, showed us the vehicles we were interested in and had a few other fall back options lined up for us after our first test drive to help save time. Travis was very accommodating, friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the Subaru s we were looking at; he was also very accommodating when talking price and finding us a deal that worked for all parties. I had a great experience with Scott at C&S when I traded in my Jeep for a Subaru Crosstrek. I didn't have an exact car in mind when I started out car shopping, but I gave them my price point and they found something that was perfect and in line with my budget. I am so happy with my new vehicle and would highly recommend C&S to family and friends!

charged me for a warranty on a new 2022 vehicle, been fighting with them since 06/07/2022 to get my money back was told it would take a max of 90 days. i always get told hold on a couple minutes we ll call you back i don t even have the vehicle anymore and they still won t refund me the thousands of dollars.

The best part of my experience at c&s was scott thurn, my sales rep. He worked slowly and carefully with me, making sure i had ample opportunity to explore the several models and trim levels i was interested in. He made a customer for life.Equally important, the financing went just as smoothly.I am loving my new Ascent. It feels like luxury and is surprisingly peppy for a large vehicle. A real pleasure to drive with confidence.

I highly recommend C & S. I have purchased both used and new cars from them and have never had a bad experience. My most recent purchase was a Subaru Ascent and I am very happy. I wasn t sure which car I wanted but Cody provided me several options based on my preferences and allowed me time to try them each. Since buying the car, they have been very helpful with any questions.
