Busy but I was able to get an oil change done. It was a wait but we got it done. Word to the wise to the lady on her cellphone with a person yelling as we all could hear him. Her child got in trouble but I only know because she was on the phone with him as he yelled at her son. She's a shop manager I only know that because the discussion between her and the guy who took care of me were talking loud enough for me to hear. You guys do you not have an office so you can take personal calls and discuss things we don't need to hear? I suggest use it if you do. Very Friendly and helpful staff. Thank you for the free coffee on this cold day.

This Firestone made us feel better than the one on Merle Hay Road. They took care of us, got our car in as soon as they could and gave us more information that we have ever gotten anywhere else. Very friendly service and they took great care of us and our car. Will be returning!!

Every time I come here it is due to my tires deflating and I have to cancel all plans for the day because even with an appointment I'm there between 1-3 hours at least for a single tire to get fixed due to me having a warrantywith them. They always leave my keys at the front and won't call me up to check out until 30mins to an hour and a half after my car is done. They also don't listen to me when I say I have things to do and need to get in and out so please stop checking everything in my car since i have a main mechanic that works on my car but especially when I'm only here for the warranty of the tires so they take even longer. I hate this company and the fact that I have to come in every couple months at most because they can't figure out how to properly fix my tires. They get to the point where I will check my tires and they are aired up perfect and the next day they are looking a little more flat (still the same or similar temp outside) and it has dropped 10-15psi. Once I'm able to afford a new set of tires I will be getting them from anyone but Firestone because I'm not spending my life revolving around if my tires are gonna hold air and where's the closest Firestone to take care of them.

Blake handled this appointment extremely well. He is friendly, explains things thoroughly, and followed up with me to let me know how things were going. One of the best experiences I've had dealing with an auto repair shop.

I was changing the oil on my daughter's car last weekend. For whatever reason, the oil filter was over tightened, and I could not remove it. I called Firestone first thing Sunday morning, and scheduled for 2pm. Blake did an awesome job getting the mangled filter off. He was especially engaging, and I felt I was in good hands. Whoever answered the phone to make the appointment was also great. The Sunday hours were much appreciated, as I needed to get my daughter's car functional again by Monday morning. I live close to this location, and will be using them again in the future.

Had an inspection for a rental at 9am, got there before 9 and didn t end up getting my inspection until 10:45. I had two appointments that I had to miss due to this inconvenience. Around noon, I was notified that the rental needed repair and had to wait another 2-3 hours for APPROVAL for repair. Been here almost 8 HOURS waiting for parts. Even had to end up calling in to work because my vehicle was put on a lift at 11am with nothing done to it. Terrible place. Disorganized, awful time management and they don t give a damn about customers. Made an appointment for absolutely nothing, been here all day simply WAITING.

This is my second review, the first one was not good either. Anyway, once I got my vehicle home all of a sudden I had a bad battery so I lifted the hood and what do you know, this don t look like the battery I had in when I drop the truck off. Oh, and what s this? My air cleaning system hose connection is broke, no one mention this, wasn t broke when you received my truck. Oh, the air system bracket which holds the system has a bolt that s not the right sides and has stripped the the bolt holder threads.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires

I would give a no star if it was possible reason being what's scheduled to have my car worked on the ESC light came on on a Wednesday when in Wednesday they have forgot to order the part went back Thursday said it was going to be a one day job end up not getting it back until Friday they cracked my Dash they didn't put some of the dash paneling back right they're covered up my hood release with the dash panel in I end up having to fix another piece of the paneling myself then I hop on the highway and I have to do a hard brake and my car shakes really bad so I take it back to them they said they messed up the steering shift wen trying to fix the esc that it wouldn't be fixed till Tuesday due to having to wait for the part to be shipped to them come to find out it was fixed 2 days before Tuesday and now one called me to tell me so mind u my car had no issues other than the esc light came on... now there is a noise every time I turn my steering wheel and my alignment is shot I will never go there again for anything now I'm being told I need new inner and outer tie rods which I just had done before I moved here so they caused for issues trying to get me to come back and spend more money on them they lucky I don't have the time to take them to court

Visiting town and came in for service but customer service was non existent. No acknowledgement nor friendly greeting and I will be right with you. Stood at front desk with about 3 clerks and stuck with their head in a computer and never acknowledged I was waiting for service. I definitely will not be coming back to this location.

I was told that my car would be ready by the end of the day. Then I found out it was a lengthy repair and going to be two days. Went by on my way to another business and saw the car in the parking lot. Called only to find out they re not going to repair because it would take to long (longer than 5) hours. I guess they changed there policy and not of their employees were aware of that policy. When I talked to the technician doing the work he knew it was a lengthy job said he had the part and would start on it first thing in the morning. Had I not seen the car just sitting there I d still think it was being worked on. They re not real good about calling you I ll not dart back in they re door anymore my dealing with this store is finished.Service: Electrical repair

Dropped vehicle off for an alignment was told it would be ready in about 2 hours. 4 hours later I call to check and find out they haven t even started the alignment and they will need to keep it until the next afternoon. Ended up picking up the vehicle and will find a different vendor. Poor communication, I understand things might happen but a 2 hour eta to a day later is unacceptable.

This location is a waste of time and money. RUN!!!! So far our experiences with several of the Des Moines area stores have been pretty bad to beyond awful; this one is the worst!It is amazing a business that treats customers so poorly is still open. All about making as much money off you as they possibly can. Extremely unprofessional; zero customer service. Overall poor training and management with bad attitudes seems to be the standard modus operandi around here.Sadly we came from another state that had great Firestone stores and thought that was the norm. Based on previous experiences; our expectations have not been met and no Firestone store in the metro seems to actually care to ever do anything correctly or make it right when they can.

They had the tires I wanted with good pricing (on sale, rebate + 5% off for new credit account). Making the appointment online was easy and upcoming communication before the appointment was good. I dropped my car off and was told service time was approximately 2 hours. After 3+ hours I called for an update. I was told that the mechanic was having issues but not told what they were. After 4.5 hours they called to say the car was done. Other than not being told what the issues were and the length of time to put on tires I was happy with the experience and the product.Service: Tires

So I was driving down the interstate on July 3 and heard a loud pop as I pulled off the interstate I was a able to make it to the McDonald s next door.I called Firestone and Wesley the manager sent over his team members Alex and Cody and they helped me out!Awesome service, definitely a great shop!

I had been told it would be about an hour to put my new tires on and rotate them but it was about 3 hours. They did have a comfortable place to wait and the showroom attendant a lady was quick to check with the mechanics to see how things were going when I asked how the progress was going. they weren't able to put my spare tire back on and I wasn't informed of that. I called later and she told me what had happened. Had I known they were having trouble and were worried about breaking it I guess either way I have a spare tire sliding around in the back of my truck. I wish they would have let me know but maybe my time constraints interfered with that. I needed to get to work.

Avoid. They don t stand behind their tires. I ve bought 3 or 4 tires there and all have prematurely warn. I asked about warranty coverage and responses were- your tire was discontinued (why?)- we don t know how you drive?- there is uneven wear and you didn t have the tires rotated frequently enough.Btw, the warrant page on mobile says nothing about rotation frequency, only that you should do it. Also, they did rotate the tires at least once and had the opportunity to point out that there was uneven wear as I had the tires replaced at different times.

My grandmas car brakes broke down on the way back home to Chicago. Darrius was very kind and fixed the issue quickly. They were very honest and not pushy to purchase anything we did not want too. I highly recommend this location to get honest and quick answers.

My last oil change was April 1st. I do not have any oil leaks and my engine does not burn oil, as confirmed by other techs as well as myself. When I checked my oil, as one should, on April 18, the dipstick would not even read the oil level because it had not been filled. Thankfully I do not drive many miles. I immediately changed my oil again myself in the garage and refilled it. It has maintained its oil level since then. This proves to me that it was a tech error in the shop. Your responsibility as a tech is to confirm the oil level prior to the vehicle leaving. If you are not doing this, you are not doing your job. I have had zero luck with customer service. I will certainly not be brining either of my vehicles here ever again.

The techs are cool. Had a good experience with them. Deb at the front was cool too. The manager Robert was the man I had issue with. He was rude and literally waived off my request with a mountain dew and some Chex mix in his hands. Deb helped out, but I couldn't believe that behavior from the store manager. Parts markup was also extremely unreasonable. Turn signal stalk was duralast part, from AutoZone. They were charging 3x. This was also the case with a wheel bearing. Overall, I would not recommend.

My vehicle has been in this shop for almost a month now. It went in for a simple battery and alternator replacement. Shop manager told me they broke there diagnostic tool to check to make sure the voltage was going through the entire system and still have not heard from them till I called them today to hear this news. I am setting up a tow truck to take my vehicle elsewhere very poor communication from management.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

I'm not impressed!! Took truck in with a slow leak in a tire, was told couldn't get to till tomorrow. Called tomorrow, and they said "oh its just going in now." Long story short, they said they couldn't find a leak, so they took it home. Well, guess what? The tire is still going down ever so slowly. Did they even look at it!!! Will never go back to this store.Think we need to go back to Earl's tires on Hickman they always treated us right. Shopping close to home isn't always the best choice.

Not sure about their honesty...They did full diagnostic of my car, found bunch of issues, one of them was a battery (less than a year old) and they said i need to replace it, I went to Autozone, they did a full diagnostic check for my battery- found nothing.Should I believe your full diagnostic, which I paid $50 for?

The only negative is that they are a little expensive. But, they are friendly and communicate well. They have proven to be honest in their work. One of the best parts is their hours of operation, which give us flexibility in dropping off our cars.

dropped tire off at 9:30 am on a Saturday that just needed new valve stem ... attendant said have it done 2 hours if can leave it.I called over 4 hours later and they had not done anything ... So I picked it up went to a walk-in tire shop mid afternoon on that same Saturday and was done within half hour. So disappointing to be ignored at Firestone. Nice facility, polite employee, just not reliable service. Firestone should have be honest and said too busy to get to it up front.

I ve gone to Firestone for years and always have appreciated the helpful and knowledgeable staff, although they always seemed to recommend something new each time I visited, but I recognized they made money off of sales and appreciated their recommendations, so I took that in stride.I never felt the need to add a review but my last two experiences here were so terrible, I don t think I ll ever be going back. After a routine oil change, I immediately noticed my car sounded and rode differently, especially when accelerating. I called back a few days later, letting them know what s been going on.I ended up taking time off of work to have my car looked at, and I met with the mechanic, even driving with her in the car and pointing out the noises and how rough my car was driving. My car was there for over 3 hours and in the end she insisted that it was normal and everything was fine.A few days later my car died on the interstate and I ended up taking it to another shop. They opened up my hood and immediately noticed that my air box was not latched shut and a filter was missing, which led to the issues I was experiencing. It took them literally less than 5 minutes to notice and fix the issue and they indicated that the mechanics at Firestone didnt even open my hood, because they d have seen it right away.I admittedly don t know much about cars or repairs, but I had trusted Firestone to tell me what I needed to know. They were in a hurry to rush me out of there, and didn t even take the time to open the hood of my car, when it ended up being such a simple fix. Their carelessness caused me hours of wasted time, PTO, and my car breaking down on the interstate - which led to a whole bunch of other fun issues. Totally avoidable, and totally ridiculous.Best of all, when I called them to let them know about this, the line went dead immediately after I explained why I was calling so if you don t know much about cars and are looking for someone to trust with yours, I d recommend looking elsewhere. Mistakes happen and can t always be avoided, but carelessness definitely can be.

Dropped my car off for an oil change and tire rotation that included dismounting and mounting back up two of the tires because they were directional snow tires. Marked the right hand side tires before I left and when I picked it up they had not rotated them but they still tried to charge me $45 for it plus they also charged $10 for scrap tire fee. Shady individuals at work there.

Left car at 8AM. Asked when I needed it back by, I said they had the whole day but I needed it at 5. Called at 4:30 for an update, was on hold nearly 20 minutes. Finally hung up and went in. Was told they weren t quite finished. Said I NEEDED it because I had to pick up my pet by 5:30 before they closed. The clerk got the key and handed it to me, but didn t say how he could give it to me at the time I asked what wasn t done and his answer was that they hadn t started yet. As I left I was obviously frustrated so I cursed (I was outside and thought I was alone) and one of the mechanics started coming out of the bay threatening me wanting to fight me for using bad language. I will never go there again and suggest you do not either. Used to do quality work, now this place needs to go underService: Tires
