Dropped my truck off before I went on a work trip for 3 weeks to get some suspension Installed. I asked if they could look at and repair or replace some ball joint boots and CV Axle boots and they were flexible with letting my brother pick up my truck and I was able to pay over the phone since I was out of state. Took my truck for a drive yesterday and it s a night and day difference. They installed new ball joints and new CV axles and the parts they used are high quality! Ride quality is much better. Thank you guys for the great work!

I had really high expectations from hearing great things but was highly disappointed. I asked for an oil change and my AC to be looked at. They said yup sounds good. When I went to pick up my car the bill was almost $300. They NEVER explained to me that in order to check out my AC it would cost. Not during the initial phone call when I made the appointment, not when I dropped it off, and not when I called asking for an update. Cheating people of money is not how you run a business. Do better.

Shoutout to Patterson Auto! I was out of town and needed an oil change before driving back to Iowa. I reluctantly got an oil change while I was out of town, knowing they would tell me something else was wrong with my truck. Sure enough, they told me I had a coolant leak. I immediately made an appointment with Patterson to check it out on my return home. They did a complete check and did not find any signs of a leak or anything else wrong. This is why I've only ever taken my truck to Patterson. They are honest and fair.

Mr. Patterson was a life saver during my trip from Arkansas to Minnesota. He diagnosed the problem with my car, bushing, replaced it and had me on my way in two hours. He would certainly have my business if I lived there, but what a blessing to find a business like this when you're hundreds of miles from home. Thanks again to Patterson's and the lovely town of Story City, Iowa.

I've used Patterson auto for almost anything you could name when it comes to auto repair. They are honest, reliable, and all around great people! I've always been happy with the turn around time, and the extra effort they take to make sure I am good to go before releasing my vehicles back to me. Some times it's as simple as an oil change and other times it's a little harder electrical malfunction on my 2015 Nissan, no matter what the situation i know i can rest easy knowing that my vehicle is in the best hands! Always a job well done Patterson Auto!! Great place If you know what is wrong with your car.Don't bother going If your car needs diagnosed, they seem to not want to mess with it and tell you they can't figure it out. Twice now I've had a vehicle there and they cant find the issue, but won't listen to me when I tell them what is going on. Don't bother going here if you have big issues.

We had an issue with our alternator as we were driving on I35 leaving for a weekend to celebrate our daughters birthday with family. Patterson Auto went above and beyond to help us out in a pinch and get our car fixed. We cannot say enough great things about this business and would highly recommend them to anyone reading this! This place was great! I'm always nervous trying a new mechanic, but since my usual one couldn't get to me for a over a week, I went here instead and I'm glad I did! Got my van fixed within 24 hrs of first calling. Very fair prices, and the problem is all taken care of! I will definitely come here again!
