Very efficient service. Made sure I knew that the service on my car was done before I arrived to pick up my vehicle. He went over the green light check list and assured me that all the items were indeed green. They have gained a new customer.

Background: We were on our way from NW Iowa to Memphis for the Liberty Bowl on 12/28/2923. After driving about 60 miles our car s radiator bit the dust. The plastic nipple that connects the coolant hose from the radiator to the engine block broke off spewing ethylene glycol everywhere under the hood. I immediately took out my phone and started looking for a repair shop in Storm Lake the closest big town.I gave A&A Automotive a call and spoke with Gene. While on the phone, Gene check with several parts distributors close by. I was thinking, Better get a room for a night or 2. Where are they going to find a radiator for a 2014 Subaru Outback nearby? Oh, and kiss those Liberty Bowl tickets goodbye! Gene came back on the line an told me he found a radiator In Storm Lake! He gave me contact info for a towing outfit (props to Tyson at Storm Lake Towing!) The car was towed to A&A and 3 HOURS LATER we were back on the road! Amazing!!!! And, reasonably priced, too!Thanks to Gene, Nate and Adam at A&A Automotive for making a bad situation the best. BTW, made it to the game. Unfortunately the Clones lost.5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are in need of auto service in Storm Lake, look no further than A&A!

They did a great job inspecting a used vehicle I was planning on buying from a local dealership. They were on time with the appointment, did an expert job, found some important flaws I needed to be aware of. Gave me both a paper copy of report and repair cost estimates and a text copy. Only took one hour. They took me out to the garage and showed me the issues. Very friendly. Price was way less than I have paid elsewhere for vehicle inspections. The information allowed me to negotiate a better deal for the vehicle to help pay for the needed repairs. They saved me a lot of money and headaches. I had an appointment for a rear brakes estimate, and to check my muffler. Never in my life have I been charged shop labor to do an estimate for vehicle work. This was NOT stated before the estimate. If it were I would have declined due to being disabled and destitute. I will never come here again and I do not recommend A&A Automotive.EDIT: Nice try attempting to block my review on sure critic. You nullified the texted review link in an attempt for me not to share this with the public. I went ahead and left a detailed review on the site anyway.

Initially we did not have a great experience. However the owner showed a lot of integrity and went above and beyond to make it right. I don t see that often these days. I m impressed and I very much appreciate it. I will definitely recommend A&A Automotive and go back to them in the future.

My wife and I were in the market for a vehicle, and we noticed it was serviced frequently at A&A Automotive. I called to get some more details on the vehicle and had the pleasure of speaking with Adam. He was very nice, and shared all the information and answered all my questions. Great small town personable feel. If I didn t live so far away I would have my vehicle serviced at A&A based on that one interaction. Even though I am not a customer, Adam treated me like I had been a customer for years. I would highly recommend.

Adam and his crew helped me out with a low tire on a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend! (Plus I had 3 of my grandchildren in car seats with me!) I can't tell you how much I appreciated them fixing my tire!

I took my pick up in to have a lot of of engine work performed and they worked every step of the way to ensure I was informed of what the issues were and what it would take to fix them, they also followed up on an issue that I was reporting but they couldn't find at the time.They were quite professional and timely when working with me and performed excellent work. Though I have little comparison for their rates, when it comes down to it, the quality work they performed and the time frame they were able to do it in was valuable in saving me the headache and trouble of trying to do it myself.I will definitely be availing myself of their services again with any of my vehicles.

Great service every single time. Reasonable prices, too! I've taken both of our cars there for years and have never been disappointed. They are friendly and very helpful. We have recommended them to friends who have recently moved to town and they are also very pleased with the service.

A & A is truly a phenomenal auto shop, and I would recommend them to anyone I love in a heartbeat. I can honestly say I have been to many auto shops in the history of my car ownership and have never found one that matches the expertise and integrity of Jean and Adam. Really, one of the things I miss most about Storm Lake is having these guys and this shop around the corner. They provide top notch service, including their customer service, and are always honest and respectful. They educate their customers, which reflects on their dedication to service and quality. You are lucky if you have the opportunity to get your car serviced by them. I have lived in numerous states, and I wish I could take Jean and Adam everywhere I go because its hard to find an auto shop that cares as much as they do. We miss you guys!!!!!! p.s. I have a Subaru Legacy 2003

Had quick and honest service, didn't do unnecessary alignment just to bring the price up and gave great advice about tires and upcoming tire sales. Would love to come back for them to take such great care of my car.

I've been here many times for anything from routine oil changes to major repairs, and I've never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they don't try to pressure you into getting unnecessary work done. Repairs are done correctly the first time. A+

Our son attends college in Storm Lake, and needed repairs on his car. He was given a very reasonable repair estimate, but when it took less time than estimated to fix his car, the cost was greatly reduced. We are impressed with the honesty and integrity of this shop!

I've always have gotten great service from A&A automotive. Adam has always been straight up with me needed repairs and cost. The service techs are friendly and knowledgeable in each of their fields. I highly recommend A&A automotive to all that ask for a trusted auto service store.

Our son goes to college in Storm Lake with the recent cold weather his battery was dead. They came out got his car tested the battery found out it was bad replaced it. Checked all fluids and tire pressure also our son needed a oil change which they did. All of this was done in a timely fashion and at a reasonable price. Our son even got a text the next day to see how is car was running. As parents with us living in Mn. It is nice to know there is somewhere that is honest he can bring his car. Thanks again for the fast and friendly service.

Appointment was quick and easy.The workers took the time to explain everything to me with diagrams and what they will need to do to resolve my problem. They had me in and out of the door in less than 30 minutes on new tires.

I tried to check my tires for a trip this morning. It is -4 degrees out and everything is frozen to check tires yourself. I stopped by A&A and they adjusted my air pressure and gave me a quote for my automotive repair recommendations. I was in and out in 5 minutes! Friendly greetings and Hugo had me on the road in no time! Thanks guys!!

Made and apt for alignment, was told my wheel bearings were bad so they couldn't do alignment. Charged me 29$ to tell me that and gave me a quote for 600+ for wheel bearing and alignment. Got a quote from another shop for wheel bearing and it was less than half of what I was quoted. And my wheel being wasnt even bad got alignment next week at a dealership! For less than quote on alignment as well!

Avoid A&A Automotive at all costs. They treat their customers poorly, are unwilling to locate known issues, and are argumentative when they make a mistake. They have terrible customer service and my husband and I will not be taking our vehicles back.Since moving to Storm Lake over a year ago, my husband and I have taken our vehicles to A&A Automotive for routine maintenance and have had multiple issues. On September 23, 2014, we took my vehicle in for an oil change and to have the blinkers repaired, as it seemed they had stopped working consistently. Instead of repairing the blinkers, A&A Automotive replaced one of my light bulbs, told me the blinkers were working fine, and there was nothing to fix. On the way home from their shop, my blinkers were still not working, so my husband and I decided to get a second opinion. A few weeks later we took my car to a different shop in my hometown. Low and behold that shop immediately diagnosed the issue and had it fixed within the day. I have not had an issue with the blinkers or hazard lights since.In April of 2015, we decided to give A&A Automotive another chance at maintaining our business. We took my car in for a routine oil change. When my husband picked up my car a few hours later, both back windows were a little over halfway down. This may not seem like a big deal, but my car is 10+ years old and I've been having issues with the front automatic windows for a few years. I've gotten my front driver's side window repaired a few times when it stops working and the bill is often quite expensive. Due to this (and the fact that my air conditioning works just fine), I have stopped putting my windows down altogether for fear they may not go back up. When my husband picked up my car on April 14, 2015, he was unable to get the back passengers side window to go back up automatically. We thought "No big deal", and pulled the window up manually. Turns out, it was a big deal. Now the window won't stay up!Today, May 4, 2015, I called A&A Automotive to see if there was anything they could do for me in regards to them putting my window down without first asking, and thereby making it now impossible for my window to stay up on it's own. I spoke with Adam, who basically told me there was nothing they could do and his "guys" would never put a window down when they are working on a vehicle. At this point, I asked him why both of my rear windows were down when we picked up my vehicle, if his shop did not put them down? He had absolutely no explanation for why they were down, but reaffirmed that his "guys" didn't do it. He said that it is likely my window mechanism needs to be replaced. I explained that this had happened to the front windows in the past, and I am not looking for them to repair the window to a functional state. I explained I wanted the window to stay up as it did before, I didn't care if it went back down because I don't use it anyway. After fighting with me over the phone for 5-10 minutes, making me feel incompetent, and basically calling me a liar, he finally agreed to try and rig the window so it would stop sliding down. He said he could not guarantee it would stay up, and was extremely rude about the entire situation.Needless to say, we won't be going back. A&A Automotive has terrible customer service. I felt like I wasn't listened to and my concerns didn't matter. They happily were able to take my money for services they provided, but when they make a mistake they obviously will fight with their customers to avoid having to correct it.

I called first thing in the morning for a headlight that was out. I was able to get in that morning and only had to wait about 15 minutes. A&A is the only place I take my car to be worked on.I have always had great service whenever I have taken my car to A&A.
