Very, very helpful! We needed screws for a TV 8+ yrs old. Thank goodness for a brick and mortar store with humans to help! Helped they, Joe most certainly DID!The web was not as helpful or friendly!

The people working there seem to sound quite knowledgeable however I went in because my system was cutting out when the base hit hard so I figured they would be able to at least try to fix it or at least tell me if I need a new amp or some sort of solution and I was left still with the problem, was told my amp was wired incorrectly, and the guy completely messed with my settings on my radio that he claimed would make things sound better. I get into my car to leave and when I turned my music on it didn t even sound like I had subs anymore. Everything was turned WAY down. Called and made a complaint and was told he forgot to turn the gain on the amplifier back up. I m not sure why you d send your customer off before making sure everything sounded good. I ve had a system in every car I ve ever owned, I know how to adjust settings, I do not however know how to deal with the wiring aspects. I m just super disappointed that I spent 100$ and a half hour of my time to be left with the same problem and not a single clue on what to do moving forward. Don t know if I need a new amp or new subs or anything. I would have been willing to spend the money for new stuff too if that s what I needed. Definitely expected better.

Purchased a sweet Music Hall turntable from Carey s Electronics after shopping online through various retailers. I live on the East Coast and came across Carey s website, and they were offering the best price overall. The transaction was very smooth, shipped quickly, and it was in use in my home just three days after deciding to buy. The deck had a peculiar problem, and I m almost glad it did, because it led me to meet Mark Carey and a few of his staff members through phone calls. We worked remotely to solve the issue, and Mark even employed the advice of Music Hall s owner. It was incredible. They shipped a replacement turntable, it s gorgeous and works flawlessly. Best of all, we got to chat quite a bit, Mark and his team are some of the good ones in the audio business world who unpretentiously work with clients like they re family. Wish I lived closer to meet everyone in person. Can only imagine that, if they re that good over the phone, it d be a great place to visit, listen to some impressive gear, and make some friends in the process. Thanks!

I was excited to expand my home theater in my new house. I had a bid for new tv and surround sound as I wanted a 11.1 told them it all looked good and to go ahead. They game me a date to come install and never showed.

Stumbled across this little gem the other day. I bought $70 worth of vinyl records, and was pleased with all but one record. It was a $13.00 RATT album, and unfortunately it is WARPED. I have yet to bring it back for an exchange, or money back. I'm sure it won't be an issue. The staff are friendly, and weren't overly "can I help you find something?" . When you are browsing albums, the last thing you want is a conversationalist .....you just want to dig in lol. Especially if you're a vinyl nut like me.I was impressed so/so with the selection. LOVED the dollar bin. One for a buck, or 13 for $10.

I have been dong business with Carey's since 1976, and have had wonderful service every dealing I have had with them. I was not surprised when the expanded their store and was glad that I can have a local place to shop for electronics that rivals the big box stores in the cities.I recommend them highly.

Gotta love Carey's! Amazing selection for a small town, and always up and the latest-and-greatest. Bought an Alpine system there, best audio my car ever had, and great installation!

Decently large selection of used (and just a little new) vinyl, turntables, and gear upstairs. Always fun to chat with the guys and go dig through the discount boxes. I've found some real gems. I always stop here when I'm in the area.

went in to get a sub installed and one door speaker disconnected but when i picked up my car and drove home i noticed they did something to all 4 of my door speakers and the only one working is the one on the dash so now my music is all distorted not what i paid for at all
