Quality auto repair and towing at reasonable prices. I had car trouble passing through on interstate and I made it to Kum N Go in town where my vehicle died around noon. It took about two hours to come tow me. They told me on the phone they'd come out when a bay opened up. It was determined to be bad alternator and they did get it fixed same day around 6pm. Their communication with customer is very poor. I was in building the whole time, but no one comes to tell me what is wrong, how much it will cost, or when it will be fixed (I didn't know until it was done, whether it would be fixed same day or not). This repair was about two weeks ago, and vehicle is running fine, so I feel they fixed it right and at a very reasonable price.

My husband and I were driving a load of Amish in our 15 passenger van up i-29. A tire shred so we drove the 4 miles to the nearest town which happened to be Sloan. We were grateful to see Mike's Shop.We were even more grateful for Mike and his promptbess in helping us, his kindness and that he had the tire we needed at a reasonable price.I would not have wanted to have trouble anywhere else along i-29 because we got the best service and the best prices when we were in a desperate situation.Service: Auto tire replacement

It was 6 pm on a Friday and mikes was marked closed but I called anyway- we had a valve stem leak and our tire was flat. He answered and told us to bring it in -(we d managed to pump it up) he fixed it within 15 minutes and totally saved our trip . big thanks!!!!!!!

Best place around siouxland! I needed my tire patched and figured it could be done in a couple days whenever they had time. They got me in within a half hour and it only took 20 minutes!!

We blew a water pump on the way to Arizona. We made 1 phone call to get a tow and hopefully get it fixed. Mike came to get us, but he said he really didn't have the time to fix it, but he did squeeze us in and fixed the car so we could continue on. He did this on a Friday, and he could have taken advantage of us, but he only charged us a fair and honest price.

Had an emergency thanks to another shop's mistake. Stopped in with a failing tire at a desperate time 20 minutes before the end of their day. No one missed a beat! They had me fixed up and I made it to my destination on time. Good people and great service. I'll be back the next time I need tires!

put only 4 lug nuts on both the wheels they replaced, came back to get my tire repaired and takes them 5 hours and they still aren t done, still in the exact spot.Service: TiresService: Tires

Super fast! Very reasonable! Although this wasn't a large repair by any means, I was happy they were able to mount this new tire for us. And they installed the correct valve stem as the one I put in was the incorrect size. Guess I'll stick to floor covering ! ;)Thanks again!the Knox'sSalix

Needed emergency tire repair at 4pm on a Friday, traveling to Omaha. Mike and crew were so good to address on problem immediately and get us back on the road. We felt we got a fair assessment of our old tires, and then good pricing and quick service. Thanks guys!

I was in desperate need of tire repair late on a 3 day weekend. I made it to his shop and he immediately got to work on the repair. He got me back on the road quickly. Price was very fair.

My son was on his first major road trip with a friend a few days ago. The boys were forced to stop when they "heard a terrible noise and stopped only to see oil pouring from under the car". If I had panicked and called my insurance company for a tow I'm sure they would have complied without telling me there was a repair shop near the boys. Thanks to the internet I was able to discover that fact on my own, I called Mike's Repair and John realized the boys luckily were quite close to them. They found that my break caliper had lost a bolt and that was the "terrible noise" the boys had heard, said that the caliper itself was somehow still fine, ordered the bolt along with an additional lug nut that was NOT meant for my car (my break repair shop in my town never mentioned it) and had the boys back on the road in an hour or so. John was also able to educate the boys on the difference between leaking oil... and air conditioning condensate !My biggest point is.. I was absent and yet responsible, the boys were not mechanically inclined and it was getting late in the afternoon with miles to go before they arrived at their destination. Mike's Repair had me at a complete disadvantage and could have told me any number of things which I couldn't disprove from a distance..but they behaved honorably and directly, only repaired what was truly broken and sent my son on his way. I'm full of grateful respect to the entire crew of Mike's Repair. Five stars!

I've always been satisfied with the Repair Shops service. Efficient and reasonably priced. Using local talent is preferable to a dealership. Glad to have them here in Sloan

Car broke down Easter Sunday on the interstate and got ahold of his cell (written on the side of all his trucks) he came in and attempted to fix us up to get home. Friendly and honest service.

Blew a trailer tire on the interstate about 4 miles outside of Sloan. Called and showed up here, had me back on the road in a half hour. Also the cheapest tire replacement I've had to date. Thanks a bunch!
