I called over the phone requiring politely if brake services were available. Told the guy I didn t have a ride scheduled and was chastised for it over suggesting I could sit down and read a book for a while somewhere and it wasn t a problem. Apparently me suggesting that should creates a firestorm of a response and a condescending suggestion that I am putting myself in front of the other vehicles that need serviced simply over having no one available to give me a ride and suggesting I would just sit down and read while waiting. Literally just moved here and am not familiar with auto centers compared to where I came from.Take your service requests elsewhere. This guy has no customer communication skills whatsoever.

Horrible mechanic. He took 900+ dollars from me and he never fixed my problem. I took my car back to him, he kept it for a few days. When I picked it up I almost did not make it home. When I asked him about it, he basically washed his hands of it and said he could NOT figure out the problem. I wish he would of offered some of my money back at least.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was traveling from Utah to Michigan and my car engine light started blinking. I called 5 other mechanics and no one gave an appointment. I called Dons with very little expectation, he agreed to take a look right away. He diagnosed the issues and said it will take 1-2hrs. He called back not even 40min after and said it s done. His attitude was super friendly and his work super fast. I am very pleased with his service. He sounded very competent and know what he was doing. He helped us so much and at an amazing price. I could cry. Not only did he fix our issue but he TAUGHT me what to look for and what was wrong with my car! Had it done by the end of the day. I will continue to come to don for as long as he is open. Thank you so much !!! You're amazing

He always repairs the problem without finding extra work to do. Every time, I have been there I feel like I should pay him more than he has billed me. I have been extremely satisfied with his work.

Great local mechanic that will always give you a GREAT deal. He checks to see if a price is ok before doing it and is an old school, do it all type of guy. I will always go to him!

A family business that's been going for 60+ years. It might not look as high tech as some built in more recent decades, but the prices are fair, the owner doesn't BS things that don't need fixing, he's done at a reasonable time, and he's got great people skills.
