I saw someone else commenting on the "office lady." My comments echo these comments. I brought two windows in to get the glass replaced. I asked two questions: "How long" and "How much". She replied two weeks and I don't know what it will cost. Fast foward a month and no phone call and no status. I drove in, asked her for my frames back and she let me to a rack where I had to find them. I took them and walked out as she says "Thank you." Never again will I go there.

We had an issue with a front door closing at our family owned business (Knova's Carpets, Inc.) here in Sioux City. Customers would open but the door would end up stuck open...not good with the wind we sometimes encounter up here. We called Dave's Glass and they gave us a date as to when they'd be here...much appreciated! The fella we spoke with is the owners son and was very courteous and explained the problem to us. Something to do with a ball bearing in a pivot was froze (rusted). He also showed us how the door closer was in sad shape and fixed that for us as well. We will definitely use them! They quoted a price with 7-10 day repair time which was fine, after 14 days I called and was told it would be done over the weekend and the call was Friday afternoon. The following week I hear nothing and have been trying to reach them finally a week after the phone call I stop in and they haven't even started, said they were busy and had to prioritize more urgent work, I countered that they should have communicated. I do not recommend them for any work at all. I was able to work with a COMPETITOR and they had the work done to perfection in less than 3 hours.

Called in November/December to get an appointment to look getting a quote for putting in two shower doors. No called no showed. Called in late January to schedule them to look at the same shower project and get a qoute. Set date and no called no showed once again. Called the following day to ask why. Was told the guy was in omaha all day. Understand that but not thrilled they didnt bother to communicate with me.. but they rescheduled and would get there the following day, Friday... For third time no call no show. That is three days wasted due to this company not being able to communicate.

My husband has Been trying to get ahold of them for like 3 months now with just a qoute and have not heard a single word from them back they keep saying ill call you within the week etc etc and nothing. Very poor communication. I do understand small business, I do understand life happens, but communication goes along ways

Called Dave s Glass for a visit and to check on a broken glass on a door. That was fast an easy, guy came and checked.Than I had to wait 6 weeks for a quote. Called and sent emails several times and no one could send me a quote for the job. That took me too long, and I went with another company.

I could not be more happy with the windshield Dave s Glass delivered and installed in my Chevelle. They were able to be flexible with my busy schedule and cleaned my car up so nicely when they were done! Highly recommended! This new staff is doing great things here.

I had a 0.125-in x 24-in x 36-in piece of acrylic to be cut a small amount from the small end. I gave them the exact size of the opening to be accommodated and asked that they add enough for 'clearance' thinking that's their area of expertise. They cut it to allow ONE FULL INCH of clearance! This cannot possibly be right by anyone's idea of clearance. But the worst is that the cut is not even straight. It looks like they cut the last 10" by hand. You can see where the saw shifted twice and then veered out at the end. And it was a raw cut! No attempt was made to soften the edges and I cut my finger handing it. Add to that the completely non-customer service oriented staff (rude, abrasive, I had to call them to learn that it was done etc.) and you have a company that should be a last resort if you consider them at all.Response to Dave's GlassI was NOT given the option of a finished edge and the opening measurement I gave them was a full inch wider. When I was there the guy who was writing the order did not even mention price or options. He seemed pretty confused and mentioned that his dad was on vacation and would return soon. I called later to ask about the price and he was very vague. Their response is full of mis-statements. Another reason to avoid them.

We ordered glass for our display cases. The worker came out to our place and measured for the shelving. They brought us our shelving out to us. Everything fit perfect. The edges were seamed and cut to the right size. We will call them again for any glass work. Thank You Dave's Glass Co. for making our display cases look like new again.

I ordered glass for a project I was making for my anniversary present to wife. Was quoted $20-30 and was told less than 2 weeks. Took over a month to get the glass. Anniversary present wasn't done in time and when I picked it up it cost $132. No offer to lower price since they ruined my present and no excuse why it took so long. Office lady was very rude and unprofessional. Go anywhere else.

Had a windshield rock chip repair done on site at the shop. Ready faster than promised, easy to work and easy to schedule with Dave over the phone. Next chip in the windshield, I'll be back.

Yeah they took care of me although the tint that he put on sure the hell didn't last very long maybe about 4 months but that's on me I bought it off the internet look nice after installing it though offered to fix my windshield nice guys I'll go back
