We recently stopped by McKee RV in Perry, Iowa to see the floor plan of a class A that we saw on line, but wanted to see it in person. They showed a new 23 Holiday Rambler with that floor plan. We LOVED it! It s just what we ve been looking forward. We had a 24 Entegra class C 29V to trade. We were helped in our purchase by Jim Anderson and we can t say enough how great the experience was! When we picked up our new home on wheels, it was spotless! Everything sparkled. We were given a 2 hour orientation on every aspect of the RV and came home with no questions left unanswered. It s been one of the very best RV buying experiences in our many decades of camping.

Everything we experienced was above and beyond. Randy, our salesman, was very accommodating, even came in on his day off to take care of us. Very friendly staff and did a thorough job of familiarizing us with the use of our motorhome.

Mark Drahas, Service Manager, has our extreme gratitude! We drove 3-1/2 hours to purchase a Thor Super C motor home from McKee in the Spring of 2023. When it became time to have some warranty work completed they were very easy to work with and did an excellent job. A big thank you to Mark Drahas for his persistence in getting the matter resolved. He was instrumental in helping us to accomplish what we needed to get replaced. When we originally purchased the RV they were easy to work with then as well. We would highly recommend McKee RV for your RV needs.

We found the RV we were looking for at McKee RV. We negotiated the deal and then traveled to Iowa in January from Arizona to pickup our rig. The entire process went very smoothly and exceeded our expectations. These folks are very easy to do business with. We would highly recommend them!

I would not recommend this dealership when purchasing an rv. There may be some salespeople there that are customer focused, but ours was not. The only reason we ended up with him is he answered the phone when we called. He was not there when we purchased the RV the next day and has never followed up with us. If you do find a unit you like, be sure and hire a third party inspector because manufacturers are putting out poor workmanship and the dealer just passes on those problems to the buyer. We found numerous issues with our unit which were repaired before we to took possession. Other issues didn t appear until we drove away. Once you drive away, they want nothing to do with you. Do yourself a favor and avoid McKee s.The attached photos show the screw holes left behind on the doors, the screw hole left in the freezer drawer which they broke off and finally the freezer drawer pull which isn't even the correct part. They won t repair/replace any of these issues.

We purchased a new 2023 Renegade Explorer from McKee Rv and took delivery last weekend. What an awesome experience we had. Charlie our salesman is a true professional. He was very responsive and easy to work with. We had ordered some aftermarket items and all were installed and ready when we arrived. We flew in and Charlie picked us up and Dave in the finance area was also great and prepared. Tim did a great walk thru with us and a quick adjustment on the water pump. What a great experience!! Thank you guys and McKee RV. You have our loyalty and highly recommend!!

We purchased a 2023 Vilano Fifth Wheel last October. The service group was excellent in fixing the many issues we identified initially. The trade for our old fifth wheel trailer was pathetically low, on me though, as it was my choice. The trailer was advertised with a stainless steel fridge. When we arrived it had a false wood front. The dealer offered to exchange the doors, but said it was an upgrade. We decided to try them out with the thought of exchanging them later. Down the road we discovered that the wood fridge doors hit the coffee bar with the slides in causing the freezer to not shut correctly. Our food would not freeze because the false wood doors had pulled down on the seals. We hired an LG tech (on the road - too far to drive back with travel plans) who modified the freezer door to work. Contacted the dealer, was told no exchange of doors is possible and to get it addressed under warranty.Our sales person we dealt with on the phone was decent, but was completely uninvolved once we arrived. Kind of weird. We ended up dealing with the manager who was like encountering someone from Camping World really, the low point of the experience. All in all this dealership did not live up to the review rating on Google.

We had a great experience working with everyone at McKee RV. Our salesman Kieth Lucas was especially helpful in helping us find what we were looking for, as we had been there a month earlier and we didn't see anything that we were interested in. Kieth kept looking for us and when they had one come in that he thought we would be interested in he did a video walk through and sent to us. Kieth and Brad were very helpful to us finding what we were looking for. Also Tim in the service department was great with the walk through and explaining all the features of our unit. He took plenty of time and was happy to answer any questions that we had. The whole team at McKee was very good about taking care of us and making sure we were satisfied.

Our experience with Keith Lucas, being our sales person at McKee s RV was by far the best experience that we have ever encountered purchasing an RV.The walk through with Jamie was informative it made the process enjoyable. When we purchase another RV we would definitely come back to McKee s RV.The deal we made before we left Florida over the phone was honored when we arrived in Iowa . I found my next motorhome at McKee RV via the internet. I already knew exactly what I wanted, and in just one hour over the phone I had placed my down payment on the unit, and began watching its progress (it was under manufacture). When I got the call that it had arrived at McKee I purchased my flight, and less than a week later I arrived at McKee and picked it up for my 1,700 mile trip home. I can t imagine a smoother purchase process, and I have been extremely impressed with the quality of the McKee dealership. Their sales, finance, and service staff are all top notch. If they have what you re looking for, I wholeheartedly recommend giving them serious consideration.

Bought new Renegade Verona. Great people to work with. Knowledge of equipment they sell. Fair prices on units and trade ins. Had very good walk thru with lot of time to answer questions. They have large quality selection of RVs. Especially super Cs.

Buying my second motor home from McKee. Sales folks Brett and Randy have been great to work with and their service manager Mark is one of the big reasons I m buying from them again. He was great helping me get warranty work done at another dealer. Customer service at its best.

Great buying experience Charlie and Dave helped with all the questions I had and were amazing to work with! Tim was our tech that showed us the ins and outs of the new camper, he was very informative and took plenty of time to go over our rig and answered any questions we had! Tim also helped to install our 5th wheel hitch and got everything working for us to take our new purchase home. Would 100% recommend buying from them.

Health issues required us to downsize our RV from an 45 foot coach and best we could tell, Renegade Motorhomes are one of the highest quality, best built and no frill mid-sized motorhomes on the market. We began our search locally (North Carolina) but was unable to find a coach optioned to suit our specific needs. My wife actually noticed an add by McKee RV in Iowa that listed the exact motorhome we were looking for. Though it was over 1,100 miles away we called to get more information and pricing. Keith Lucas took my call and quickly answered all my questions and obtained a great price from his manager. The next thing I know, I m on an airplane headed to Iowa. Keith sent a car to the airport to pick us up and even though it was his scheduled day off, met us at the dealership and introduced us to our new coach. Kirk, lead tech at the dealership, walked us through ALL the systems and answered all our questions. I have no doubt that if I had an issue with our new coach, Kirk could talk me through a resolution. Keith remained on site to make sure the financial portion went well and then had our new coach waiting for our long driver home. I ve got to say, this is our fourth motorhome in the past ten years and the best experience we ve had to date at a dealership. Thanks to Keith and Kirk for their hard work and attention to detail!!!

Two stars. I'm giving them credit for their ownership of previous bad reviews.My wife and I found a Class A we had been looking at and McKee RV had the best price online. They were a couple states away, but they had it on the lot and at a good price. We made the call, spoke to the sales people. Ended up running credit for financing and all was relatively good. The 2022 unit was a good deal, but financing on an older RV was a challenge. Not crazy high interest rates, but higher than new. That coupled with the extremely low trade-in valuation of our 2022 Class C (yes, same year, we were looking to trade into a larger unit), made this a decision we had to think about.At the end of the day, the negative reviews coupled with our gut feeling, made us change our minds. Obviously the dealership wanted the sale, so they said what they had to, but nothing that ultimately changed our minds.Funny how the negative reviews really triggered the Sales Manager. At the end of the call he told me to enjoy the yelp reviews and hung up on me. This really solidified in our minds that we made the right call.I ended up calling back and leaving a voicemail with the sales manager, because the finance manager said he could not refund the money we used to hold the unit while we were evaluating the financing options. No call back. And no refund.We disputed the charges, and the bank refunded the money. We then get an email from the owner who seemingly accepted responsibility for his past bad reviews, and apologized for not refunding the money sooner.I guess he didn't have to do that, which is why I am giving him 2 stars.These guys may be great, they may really do their best to help you. I won't know, but in my opinion we made the right decision for us.

We bought home our 2024 Dynamax Europa 31SS on 12/8/23. Wonderful experience at McKee from Jim in sales who was great at showing us the different models and keeping us informed to Dave in finance and Jaymie who did a fantastic job with our walk thru. They made buying our first motorhome a great experience! Thank you McKee!

Don't pay for the dealer prep charge! We were told by the salesman Randy that they spend 9 1/2 hours on dealer prep. Advertised as a like new 2022 (we purchased in 2023). Not washed until we asked after we got there, leaks found when we got home at entry door and under kitchen sink, water heater element out, water heater thermostat bad, bad window seal, wallboard falling off in closet, slide hits awning when extending/retracting, NO BRAKES! Yes, that's right, we were sent away with brakes that wouldn't function even at the highest gain on the truck. White knuckle driving for six hours home, then research and repair/adjust brakes so they would function. 9/12 hours of dealer prep? I don't think so. What a liability, sending someone away without working brakes! Email to salesman was ignored when asked for a refund of the dealer prep fee.

I want to let everyone know, when its comes to professional, understanding, outgoing, and informative motorhome buying, I give it to Charlie Sale Personal and Dave in the finance department. Charlie helped us out when other rv dealerships was giving my husband and I a hard time. We was able to get a great interest rate! I like these two guys. They are patience, and understanding! Great Great customer service. If I hadto refer friends and family; Charlie in sales I will send family/friends too. Again, thank you!

Oh my, the staff at McKee service department is above the best. I took my RV in for some issue, and with their checking and fixing they found other issues that was being effected by the original issues. They contacted me to proceed with new issue, for sure get is all going like new. All I can say -- being a new rv user (on a 2nd owner RV) I didn't even know these items were supposed to work so good. Since it was being winterizing I had exterior washed, all I can say it looks like new, better than when I bought from a different dealership. Love McKee, great service

We ended up at McKee on a whim looking at super C motorhomes. Our salesman, Jim, was great and patient with us while we looked and decided to take one for a test drive. Almost immediately, my wife was uncomfortable in the rig so we had to go back to the drawing board. Jim was very helpful and we ended up liking a Vanleigh Beacon but wanted a different floor plan. After some back and forth, we agreed on a price and ordered one. It arrived quicker than anticipated, McKee made the financing process smooth and simple and we are very satisfied.Haven't had to have any repairs done so can't comment on that yet but very happy with McKee - and Jim - and would definitely recommend!

Since sLeveling system wouldn't retract first time tried to use.Discovered a bare wire later that should have been found by dealer.All six tires had low air which also should have been found by dealer.Later had all tires checked, found all valve stems were faulty from factory.All issues have been repaired without the help of dealer.Dealer wouldn't help.Finally Danielle Sodemanfrom Dynamax stepped up, is working on the issue and my reimbursement for cost of repairs.No help from dealer?Since this was posted,thanks to McKee RV, I have been reimbursement for all off my bills.Thanks again to McKee RV for their help in getting this resolved.
