If I could I would give negative stars.Reason. A simple alignment ($100 job) turned into over $300 because of broken pins, bolt, brake lines and a bit up brand new upper arm. But I know everything was fine because I personally replaced a lot of parts (I've been working on cars for 30 years plus) and drove the car over 2 weeks with no problem until I took it to this shop for alignment.This is the worst work I've seen in many years and I had to pay for their stupidity.When I got home the brand new brake hose was leaking and the retaining clip was falling off.The owner doesn't have the decency to pay for what they broke instead charge the customer not only for the broken part but also charge for labor to replace those parts.I'll try to find a way to post pictures to show the work they did. It looks like the work of a back alley mechanic.

Our daughter used this place recently for a flat tire. They were honest and just parched the tire instead of overcharging and telling her they needed a new tire. Very impressed.

Absolutely amazing customer service!! I called to get my brakes done and they got me in immediately. When they seen that my caliper was broken Not only did he call me as well as send me a picture he told me if I wanted to stop and grab one from the auto store which is cheaper that they would still be able to get my car done today. I appreciate that they called as well as send a picture and allowed me to go grab my own part which saved me like $100. And they are very affordable I definitely recommend Chuy for your car care!!Service: Brakes

$380.00 for breaks and rotors. Called and got quoted price of breaks and rotors at auto store $131.51. I have been taking my car to Chuy's for 11 yrs. The last few times I feel like I have been way over charged. There is no reason it should have come to 380.00. I've been told by way to many people that they've never been quoted close to that for breaks and rotors. Even with newer more expensive cars. I had always really trusted him. Never had any problem. Just the last few times, the price has been way over the typical.Service: Brakes

Been going to Chuys since he opened, many years ago!! Chuy & staff are very friendly & Chuy is very knowledgeable. Never have to wait long for any type of service. I would highly recommend taking your vehicle to Chuys!!

Great service and does not over charge. Owner recognized I had a lifter going bad just by lostening to it. I also had an expensive oil filter that needed replaced, i was quoted $800, I called stew hansens where I bought it and they wanted $1300. He also told me it was not worth fixing the oil problem and to get rid of the car because of the lifter....boy was he right.He does the job right and is honest. I cant express how important to me that is since I know nothing about cars.

Have had our car in a few times at Chuy's. Our relatives take their vehicles here too. Very fair prices, very fast dependable service. Owner and his staff are very nice and easy to deal with.

Chuy has saved my day countless times. Any time I need anything he's dependable to take care of me at the drop of a dime. I send all my friends and family here for their automotive needs and when I move 3 hours away I will remain a customer with Chuy. Best mechanic I've ever run into.

Chuys a great guy and for the most part has a very good business going on. He's quickly outgrowing his new shop already though it seems. My only complaint is that he doesn't call you back or keep you informed. I sat for 3 days without a car and when I finally called him he said that he couldn't start it do to not knowing my Jerry rigged key fob. That's understandable and fine and dandy, but I would have been waiting how long before knowing that he was waiting on me? That's not one experience either that's every time. So that's it that's the only complaint, but to me it's a pretty big one. His wife is the receptionist but he still handles everything in the office as well? Hmm. Fair, honest, knowledgeable, but poor communication doesn't work for me and others I'm guessing as well.

Price was good but the investment in my intoxolock is a waste of money when the technician doesn't file ur certificate w the state or even sign it with intoxoloc I'm bout my driving privileges another month

We have always had good service when we have had our vehicle's in to be repaired. But we had taken it to another place and that shop couldnt work on it due to they didnt have a drive on hoist to put the car on so we went to Chuy's to seen if he could get it in so we could see if we would be able to drive it on the highway. Chuy told us he had a var theat he would have done by the end of the day so if we bought it in the next morning he could check for us and we took it in and he checked it and was able to fix it t that time.

We ended up at Chuy's due to a bad situation. My wife was on her way to Des Moines for an important meeting when her tire started losing pressure rapidly. I called Chuy's and explained the short timeline she was on. They had her pull right in fixed the leak and she was back on the road in roughly 20 minutes. One would think due to the urgency of our situation we could be charged a rush fee, but the bill was only $16. I cannot say enough good things about this place. They really helped us out in our time of need!

Trust Chuy and his guys with all of our vehicles. Reasonable and fast service. Clearest sign of a good business? ALWAYS busy / full parking lot. His is. Great place to go for vehicle needs.
