They've got a good selection and a good variety of inventory. Pre-Covid you never had to wait in line to check out: Once the checkout line got more than 2 customers deep they called for a backup cashier. Now it's common to have customers 6 deep or more before someone calls for a backup cashier, if they do at all.

This place is pretty usual for a farm/hardware type store. But I had a great experience here when it came to the customer service with a return.

Good selection of the basics, but if you want something specialized, you'll need to go to a big store in DSM. That said, good people and service. Always helpful.

I went to Theisen s to get some salt for the blizzard that s coming. I only needed a small bag but they had quite a few options. I had $5 is rewards so it only cost me $.77! SCORE!

Needing heat lamp bulbs. Wasn't sure where they we're at inside the store. 2 young high school kid's took me straight to them. The store had a lot of sales going on.

I wasn't able to replace the wrong product I bought as the receipt was over 30 days old. But I did end up finding the correct piece I needed to fix the sink. I was unable to buy any soldering paste. I do not believe it's something they normally sell. Plus, the gentleman that helped didn't seem knowledgeable about soldering paste anyway. But he was nice and was helpful and was able to help me with the sink part I needed.

While they did not have the last 2 odd ball things I needed, EVERY SINGLE TIME, someone came and offered to help me try and find it! Reminds me of old school Farm and Hardware type stores

Theisen's is a great Iowa family owned business! They have a nice selection of farm, home, work, outdoors, & automotive goods with competitive prices. They frequently have sales on population brands & the staff is very helpful.

Theisens has a great selection. The staff seemed offended when I bought a new Stihl weed eater, I went to check out and it felt like I underwent an interegation for not Registering the product of which I was unaware I needed to do. The shop guy was super polite though.

A great place for shopping for every day items needed around the house. Store is not overly large however they rotate inventory seasonally for the widest selection. Staff is always helpful to me.The checkouts can sometimes get busy but they are quick to call for help to open up more lines.This store never has issue with parking.

I love shopping here. But one thing occurred to me on my recent visit.The sizes that the items say they are, aren't actually the size. I'm not sure who's at fault, but it was a little disappointing to go through extra trouble just to get the same outcome.The service is always beyond 100% However, it's few and far between. There are only so many working it's hard to get assistance. The checkout lines were quite long too due to the fact that the lanes were limited.I was also hoping that the item that I had seen in-store would be available on their website. Seeing that I live out of state this would be amazing if that were the case. But alas, if you see something that you like while you are there, you best go ahead and get it. Because there is a very good chance that it will not be available in the future or for online purchase.I will still come back to shop here. I will just learn from my mistakes too.

Great place. They have a little bit of everything. The lines were long. I'm not sure if they were short staffed that day or if they had a good sale. All registers were open and running though.

While loading my cart, a nice salesman came up to me and said" If you get one of those large red Theisen's bag you'll get 15% off your order. So I did & saved $20.00 !!!!

Very helpful, cashiers were quick to help when lines grew.The front could use a little sweeping, when the wind blows tends to build in the front.

A great place to shop. They have a good variety of stuff there. And great selection of tools. Always a good deal. However, I went there today to get new lenses for my trailer that I bought there. They sell the trailer, but you have to buy the whole new marker lights just to fix broken lenses. Not very happy about that.

Always helpful and friendly staff. Today I saw some Rocky boots on sale for under half price. They didn t have my size so I found a staff member and she ordered me a pair in my size that will be delivered to my door tomorrow no extra cost. Great value, great staff!

We really love this store. The staff is exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The store is well stocked and clean. They almost always seem to have what we are looking for. We have been there many times and have never had a bad experience. We would definitely recommend this store to anyone.

Great place and handy source for lots of items. Not 5 stars because stock is often out and shelves are restocked incorrectly. The staff is great and very helpful - always enjoy my visits.

Stores are always pretty dumpy and run down. Consistently hit or miss if something is actually in stock, employees are so-so when it comes to helpfulness. Would gladly support any other business in town if they existed. Would drive to other businesses on weekends for big purchases less if they spruced up their game!

We went there to get a hi-vis jacket for work which were hanging way up high but while we were looking at them someone did come and ask if we needed help with anything so yeah the service was pretty good. We would have had to have help to get them off the high rack anyway. She said just try on whatever sizes, I'm here to help.

Lots of workers yesterday but only one cashier with a very long line. She appeared friendly but didn't seem to care how long people had to wait. I ended up leaving without buying what I came in for. I would like to give local businesses my money but honestly Amazon is just less frustrating.

Chill, nice employees, the guy who got our chickens was a blast to be around. Clean store, still sad COVID took away the free popcorn, but its alright. Overall, a good store.

Nice chain of stores geared to hardware and farm supplies. The selection of goods varies from clothing to automotive supplies, hunting to kitchen, chainsaws to livestock feeds. There is a little of everything. Don't forget to get a bag of fresh free popcorn.

My dad and I always enjoy going here. One of my dad's favorite stores. Got him a bird feeder for Christmas. Lots of good products. So many products, I needed help! Andrew Franco was friendly and very helpful! Would highly recommend this store.

I wish I could give this store a negative rating. Staff is always clueless literally clueless on any questions I have. For example, do you have this in stock and it's just not on the correct shelf? I don't know. Could you search a computer? Maybe. I've gone 3 months almost every week looking for odd household items because I live on this side of town... Never has what I need in stock or doesn't sel it but advertising that brand. I will never return and I encourage others not to either. Management needs a rude awakening how horrible this place is. Only good thing is the popcorn

I was looking at lawn trimmers this afternoon when another customer asked the older employee a question. He was kind of short and sarcastic with her in my opinion. I witnessed this 2 other times to different customers before I left. Definitely not the customer service one would expect.
