I have a few concerns honestly. Yes they fixed the gas line and a few other things all though I had problems a week later. Turns out I needed a new battery which was not caught when being serviced. I have a power train plus warranty which I also pay for seals and gasket coverage and I was told that the seals and gaskets they serviced ended up not being covered, why? When I pay for it so I ended up paying that out of my own pocket . I appreciate everyone s time, but my satisfaction was not 100%.Click to Copy

Complete unprofessionalism and arrogance from the man that helped us, from the moment I stepped onto the lot it seemed as if I was a waste of his time. The entire time he seemed disinterested in our business as he was on his phone constantly and seemed to be more worried about looking at the sky than tending to his customers. When I m looking to spend money on a car I want to feel invited and respected. Definitely won t be recommending here

I took my truck to get serviced on October 30th. I spoke to Tony in the service department. He told me that day that he had spoken to my extended warranty company. So after continued calling and no returned phone calls from anyone. I finally got to speak with someone and magically my parts arrived 12/22/23. Went to pick up my truck and the service department says that Tony never filed a claim for the extended warranty. So needless to say they still have my truck and REFUSE to do anything about Tony s total disregard of his job. They have no people skills other then telling lies.

Wonderful staff, knowledgeable, very kind. They went above and beyond to make a sale. I didn t purchase, but that wasn t because they did something. I just waited too long and someone else beat me to the punch. Absolutely would purchase from these people. God bless.

My ABS and Traction Control lights were on and my power steering wasn t working. With my car under warranty, I took it to their service department. I was told they found the issues, that the warranty company would pay for everything but my $100 deductible. They brought the car home to my wife. No paperwork or documentation at all. They told my wife that another part was needed, which would be another $500 from our pocket because it wasn t covered by warranty. This is after their service guy Adam reassured me that the parts the warranty covered would take care of everything! Both lights are still on, the power steering is still out. They did absolutely nothing to fix the issues I took the car in for. After posting this, I ll be filing a complaint with the BBB, State of Iowa Attorney General s Office and the warranty company for insurance fraud. Don t trust Vaughn for anything! You re better off taking your chances with a shade tree mechanic than these people. And, as expected, they also did the typical service department thing of telling me I needed a bunch of other things done that I didn t

Very friendly place to go, but I was there for 6 hours getting an oil change and a chip put in. I would have thought they would have offered a loaner to go get lunch. But I also know they are way overbooked in the service area. Feel for the guys back there. They do really good work and they are very helpful.

I recently had the pleasure of working with a fantastic car salesman,Walter Vasquez. From the moment I stepped into the dealership, Walter exhibited a level of professionalism and enthusiasm that immediately put me at ease. Walter took the time to understand my preferences and needs, guiding me through various options with a wealth of knowledge and patience. His transparency and willingness to address all my questions made the experience truly enjoyable. In the end, I not only found the perfect car but also gained a sense of trust in the dealership thanks to this outstanding salesman. I highly recommend them for their exceptional customer service and dedication to ensuring a smooth and satisfying car-buying process.

Recently I have been having problems with my Pontiac Vibe. My car is a 2005 and overall I am the only owner. Won't go into all the details ,but I brought my car to Vaughns for servicing because of some problems it was having. It Turned out the car had a few needs. I cannot say enough good about Adam Vivian! He was absolutely amazing at keeping me informed and updated. I appreciate his professionalism . Sad to say you do not get that everywhere! 5 Stars for Adam In All Areas!

These guys are AWESOME. I'm a car collector, and I've bought A LOT of cars over the years, but purchasing from Vaughn Automotive was the best experience I've had in my 58 years on this rock. I purchased a 2005 Dodge Magnum from them via the internet, and the car far exceeded my expectations. Even after a fiasco with a Transport Company (not affiliated in any way with Vaughn) trying to scam me, they were so helpful. When I decided to fly up to Ottumwa to pick the car up and drive it home myself, they offered to send a driver to pick me up at Des Moines airport (a 70 mile drive!) at no charge. I worked on this purchase with 3 of the most helpful people I've ever encountered in the car business: Haley, who answered the phone when I first enquired about the car, Dean, the salesman who sent me closeup videos of the car so I could see it, and Shannon, the one who took care of the title work for my out of state purchase, and all of them were so helpful, pleasant, and friendly. I just can't say enough good things about these folks, they were amazing. When I got the car home, I pulled out the owner's manual, and the previous owner (1 owner car) had left a note that showed the the coolant system had been flushed, the transmission fluid flushed and changed, the rear end lubricant drained and changed, and a new battery installed, all within about the last 10,000 miles. I just keep finding more reasons to be extremely happy with my purchase. Don't hesitate to purchase a car from these folks, I HIGHLY recommend them. Even if you live 4-1/2 or more hours away!!!

I had an order for a GMC Denali Ultimate with a local dealer in Wisconsin that I love. But GM informed them the truck I ordered would be built without supercruise, which I specifically wanted. When I found this out I immediately hit the net to find the truck I wanted. Vaughn had the exact truck. I reached out to them and received a quick response. Initially, the person responding to me wasn't the direct sales person so it took a few hours to get to Gabby who was my salesperson. Shannon was in finance. Between Gabby and Shannon they took care of all my requests via text, which is my preferred mode of communication. They did all of the paperwork and vehicle set up prior to my 12 hr round trip journey to meet them. When I arrived they had the truck ready to go, paperwork was ready. I signed and was able to turn and burn. They took my old truck off of lease and gave me lease equity towards the new truck. The whole deal was flawless. I read some of the negative reviews online prior to going to do business with them. I had some reservations but they had what I wanted so I figured I'd take the chance. I'm glad I did, I didn't experience anything but great service and I am going to be excited to drive my GMC Denali with supercruise every weekend when I head to the Northwoods of Wisconsin driving it! Thank you Gabby and Shannon. Take care, and I hope you can help many others like me!

Found a great vehicle at Vaughn auto.Worked with Gabby and Shannon remotely to find the right vehicle being we lived out of state. Buying sight unseen made us nervous, but they both made the process easy, seamless, and enjoyable. Was in and out with paperwork complete within 45 minutes. Best vehicle purchase experience we've had. Would recommend this dealership to anyone looking their next vehicle.

Update to post My husband spoke to Josh at Vaughns he agreed to refund us $500.of $937. We paidBrought my vehicle to Vaughn automotive because it would randomly not start. My husband told the tech and wrote on the envelope provided at the key drop that the remote starter was not working and he was sure that was the problem. I talked to Vaughn s tech who told me I needed a new started. Thinking they had already checked the remote starter and we were wrong about that. I told him to go ahead and fix it. So they put a new starter on and called me back to say the car still won t start. Later that day, my husband goes in and the tech tells him that they took the remote starter off and now the car starts. They charged me $937.00 for a started we didn t even need. They said since I approved it was our responsibility to pay for it.Try to shop local and this is what happens! If you take you vehicle to Vaughns don t say you weren t warned.

I should have read the reviews! DO NOT WORK WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!I worked on purchasing a vehicle for two days with this company. Unfortunately, due to the staff we were assigned to work with being out of the office, we were unable to get the paperwork complete. The day I left to drive nine hours to complete the sale, they sold it underneath of me, knowing I had already financing complete with a local bank and a purchase agreement from Vaughn's. The manager I spoke with was very unprofessional, degrading, and unwilling to help. The entire process felt very unorganized and frustrating, from the get go. Their treatment was not on the unprofessional and rude it was very unethical. I would never recommend working with his dealership.

Won't use this dealership again. Dealt with Scott and Ciara via email on the truck I purchased. Those 2 were great and always had great follow up. Matt was the salesman who helped us when we arrived. He did well for getting tossed into the situation due to us needing to come on a Saturday. The issues we had were when we arrived the windshield had a crack in it, which was told via email no significant damage or rock chips on the truck. I tried to work out with them to cover the cost of the windshield repair so that I didn't have to drive 2 hours each way to set up appointment for replacement. The best they would do is $500 towards repair. Took it and moved on. Bought the car on a Saturday, that following Wednesday emailed them the paid receipt from having the windshield replaced. Since that time, the manager emailed me asking about my experience as did the salesman. I have said this same thing to each of them and neither of them had any kind of response or follow up after that. It has now been over 2 weeks since I emailed them and only Ciara has responded, however, none of my questions or receipt has been followed up on, let alone been sent the money to chip in the partial cost of windshield replacement the offered. I will not recommend them moving forward to anyone.

We trade vehicles every couple of years and without a doubt Eddie and Alex gave me the best customer service I ve ever experienced at a car dealership. They obviously got the customer service is important memo ! Eddie made sure my new truck was exactly what I expected and even went the extra mile to make sure a bolt on option somehow forgotten by the factory was added back on by the dealer. I always dread the trip to the little room in the back where they give you the high pressure sales pitch to add things like undercoating or maintenance contracts. This part of the sales process has been such a bad experience in the past that I ve opted never to return to the respective dealership. When I made the trip back to the room with Alex I was expecting the worst. Not at Vaughn! Alex did a great job explaining options in a low pressure way. I wii definitely be back at Vaughn for our next vehicle.

Truthfully? My experience was terrible. I had previously taken my 2017 to the auto shop to get it fixed at Vaughn. The guy was awesome. I picked it up 4 days later (no loaner) and it sounded worse than when I took it in. They fix it, again, and it is works fine. Then I go to look for a different vehicle to replace our other car. No one comes out to help you, we go in and ask if these people are busy (because they just sit around) and they said we can help you then proceeded to show us the website and say that s how you will know the prices, but it doesn t tell you the history of the vehicles. So we (the customer) had to go out and find the car we were looking for, find the vin, and run it back and forth to them to give us the history! I couldn t believe that was their service . Then they say we can t do a better deal than this, but if you do go through your bank let us know we would be happy to help. First, I sat there all day and by the end of the day i was exhausted and disappointed. Second, you trying to screw me over is not something I appreciate. Third, I did buy a car newer and nice than the ones you had to offer and was approved the next day after my wasted time at your facility. My advise? Get some people in there that know what they are doing, and potential customers? Keep searching elsewhere.

If I could give this place a negative star review I would. This place is a joke. I will never do business here again. My first go around trying to buy a truck I was completely flat out lied to about warranty, the salesman seemed like he couldn t care less that I was there and wasn t taking me seriously, then low balled me on my trade in. I decided to give them another chance and ended up with an awesome salesman. He was really great to work with. But, after buying the truck with a power train warranty the engine had a bit of a rough idle and a squeak when accelerating I decided to go in and get warranty work done. I sat for an hour and a half waiting just for them to come tell me that the exhaust was not covered under warranty and it was 1500 to replace then tried charging me 150 dollars for a diagnostic fee. (Which I refused to pay) This was not something they were upfront about at all. This place will snake money out of you any chance they can. The best way to not get swindled out of your money is to not do business with this place. That is my best advice.

We needed a new pickup to replace an old one we had. My husband told them exactly what he wanted and they did all the research. They were able to find just what we asked for and it was a very fair price. No complaints! I would highly recommend Vaughn Chevrolet if you re looking for a new or used vehicle. Employees were very friendly too!

Out of state buyers steer clear of this dealership! We drove 3+ hours to purchase our truck and were informed before we went into financing that they needed proof of our registration as they would handle paying the taxes & licensing since we lived out of state. They had been burned too many times by previous customers, whatever that meant. I was able to provide a copy of the temporary registration that I had just renewed online and Jordan Rook (finance) was telling me it was outdated. It was correct, he just didn t know how to read it!! Since he wouldn t accept that, we scrambled to have someone back home find the final copy that was mailed to us with our renewal tags. I was ready to walk away at this point but we had driven a ways for the truck for my husband. They (Jordan) accepted a picture of the renewal we found at home and we were allowed to purchase the truck. It s been 6 weeks since we have purchased the truck and we still don t have confirmation that our truck has been registered and our taxes paid. Multiple emails have been sent to check the status and the response is I ll check with my title clerk and get back to you and then there is no response. We need to get truck plates from the DMV as we traded in an SUV but can t do that without the registration being complete. Jordan actually called my husband today and asked for him to send him the plates from the truck so they could turn them in and get credit for them and get the new plates for the registration. I don t think so!! What are we supposed to do, drive our truck around with no plates??!!They ve taken our money for state taxes, not paid them within the 30 day time frame that we have to do so. STAY AWAY!!!

Our first appointment to test drive a vehicle, we were half way there and we were called and told they did not have the vehicle, it was used as a loaner. ( We live 2 hours away ) Our second trip to test drive the same vehicle, we arrived to find out it was again given as a loaner. Both times appointments were made with salespeople and times we would arriving.

Gabby went above and beyond during our process of finding a truck. With the truck shortage it took a few weeks for inventory to arrive. She was on top of helping us find the perfect truck we've been searching for for months. We came from Florida to purchase this truck. Gabby assured us somebody would pick us up from the airport on the day we arrived to pick up the truck. There was not a driver available to get us at the time our flight landed so Gabby personally picked us up herself! She definitely went above and beyond to make our experience the best. Thank you so much for making us feel like valued customers! We will definitely make the trip again to buy from her when we are ready for another vehicle.

I wouldn't go anywhere else for a vehicle. If you're in need of collision repair, the body shop will make the process easy for you. The service department is top notch and quick to get your vehicle back on the road. Vaughn's team members are all ready to help in any way they can!

After seeing Vaughn Chevrolet's listing on Ebay I Agreed to buy my wife a new 2022 Tahoe from them at Full MSRP. They stated it was intransit and would be here in a couple of weeks. She had a Suburban but she didn't like it because it was too long for her so i sold it knowing that i had a deposit on the shorter Tahoe from Vaughn. I waited over a month and it finally showed up. However, They would not honor our purchase agreement because she had a sales tax credit from our state of Missouri for the sale of the longer Suburban just a month earlier. Now my wife is currently stuck without a vehicle. After repeated calls to Jordan Rook my salesman he stated he will not sell me the Tahoe without paying full sales tax again. This was a total waste of time!!!

Called to inquire on availability of a specific vehicle. Was told is was available, only to find out it was sold the day before! This place has HORRIBLE customer service! And all they can say when they screw up is...oh, I'm sorry. I will NEVER purchase from this place or recommend it to anyone else. If you're thinking of buying from here, buckle up Butter-cup.... They will send you on a ride!

Bill and I had a spectacular experience at Vaughn motors last week while shopping for a new Cadillac. Our salesperson was Cameo Lathrop and boy was she good. She showed us around the car pointing out all its new features and ran through the instrument panel before we took it for a test drive. She was a deciding factor in our decision to buy from Vaughn's as from another dealer. She was very well versed and model knowledgeable.
