Rick's Transmissions in Ottumwa Iowa is the only place I would take my transmission work to. He is great on his work and has done 2 for us and we are getting ready for the 3rd one to be done. Absolutely the best experience. Our van broke an axle and we live in Arizona. Had it towed to Rick's. Not only did he squeeze out time to fix it the next day, he went out of his way to get parts, and the price was fantastic. He is one speedy dude.

Great guy, great customer relations and does excellent work has done several transmission fluid and filter changes and I've never had a complain nor a problem would recommend him to anyone needing auto work done very clean shop also

I Bought a car from this establishment and it wasn't until a week or 2 later that I realized it had all sorts of issues. For one the heater core leaked which you couldn't tell because he cleaned the windows and it took about a week for the leaking heater core to smog up the windows again. It has electrical problems that didn't present themselves until the next day that he undoubtedly knew about and various other issues. I just dont understand why, if he knew it had these issues he couldn't at least reflect them in the price that I paid. Very disappointing.

I had my transmission fluid and filter changed out. The price for that was cheaper than most of the other guys. Only four star rating since he seems to be a one man crew.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

This is a top quality professional who is thoroughly honest. He gave us great advice and did our work in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this transmission shop.
