Christy at the desk was fantastic!! My husband and I bought a van here yesterday, and we love it! Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a great deal on a vehicle - you will be met with honest and friendly service!

Great place! I broke down near them and they went above and beyond to help me get back on the road. They helped me find a rental car and gave me a ride to enterprise while they looked at my car. Front desk people are absolutely wonderful!!!! I would definitely do business with them. Thank you Midwest Auto for all your help!

Shelby immediately looked into my window replacement and kept me posted about the details. They were able to get the window and replace it in an extremely timely manner. Customer service was excellent, as well! Best turn around time and price, too! Would definitely recommend and return.

My daughter was home on break and hadn't mentioned how bad her tires had gotten. On the way to town to get tires one went flat. We went to 3 places everyone was busy and couldn't get us in until early next week. Midwest was busy but Derik was awesome and quick to get us fixed up and back on the road. The whole staff was great and gave a family friendly atmosphere on top of being quick. It's really nice to still see businesses around that treat people like they are a regular even when it's their first time.Service: Tires

Had to have an intoxalock system installed and the staff seemed very knowledgeable and helpful and were very understanding in some situations when the actual Intoxalock company were not. Definitely good environment and wonderful employees.

Quick to get in. Had an excuse not to finish work, but still charged for attempting to do it. Took much longer than estimated. We paid for a four wheel alignment. They did the front no problem. They said they could not do the back because of a aftermarket bolt on the control arm and they wanted the factory bolt. That's fine of it's their policy, but no need to charge for it. But they were much cheaper and not as long as a wait as their competitors. We ended up going to a competitor and they said aftermarket bolts are common and not a reason not to do an alignment.

My brother in law was here visiting from Tennessee. He needed his windshield replaced. I searched the yellow pages and called Midwest. They had him in less than 2 days and fixed him up. He was a happy man. Great job guys

They do good quality work for a reasonable price. The only thing they did I didn't like was putting tape on a windshield they replaced. The paint off the body peeled off with the tape.

Great local business. Competitive pricing and excellent sevice. No big box vibes. They get to know you and your needs without wasting your time or money and have done so for us for 10 some years.

Made appointment to have the review mirror removed on a 2014 f150 from the windshield. There is a special tool to remove the mirror, the lady said there s no guarantee we can get the mirror off but I will try . When she was using the tool she pried from the right side, the bottom, then said I m going to stop before I break something then recommended the local dealer. She then quickly went inside, when we got to the dealer we realized she cracked the windshield in 2 spots near the mirror. We called, informed the desk lady about the issue. She then said that we had to pay half of the windshield replacement. (very unprofessionally) and would not work with us. Absolutely horrible attitude on the phone, rude people, and horrible customer service. Just bought the truck this week and refused to own up to her actions and would not make it right without payment from me. would NOT recommend, they don t back up their work and are extremely rude. Stick to safelite.

They did a great job installing my windshield. Dusty was very courteous on the phone as well! Why not support a local business that's this good! Got my business that's for sure!

Unwilling to work with you, they buy cars from auctions and sell them for triple what they re worth, when you take it in to get fixed there beware as the mechanics have NO IDEA what they re doing and they charge a TON for bad or wrong fixes. The cars they don t tell you are all salvage. Always fixed in the most cheap way possible, staff always seems to have an attitude and are never friendly.

Dusty and Janice have always pulled through in helping me through any rough car situation. The fact they have Easy Pay Financing really helps out with large price tags! They've saved me several times!

I had a very pleasant experience at Midwest Auto they was all very helpful I bought a car from them the car is going to work out just fine for me I appreciate all the help that they gave me and I would recommend him to anyone that I know to buy a car from them very truthful and they tell you exactly what you want to know as far as I'm concerned they're number one thank you

I'd give them a 5 but both times i was there they missed something & I had to go back to them. They did fix it tho in a very timely manner or they gave me an estimate. Hopefully I won't need to see them for any major repairs anytime soon bit if I do, I have confidence they'll take care of it no matter how many times I go back.

I have bought probably 4 vehicles here starting over 20 years ago. I have always enjoyed buying from them because it was hassle free. Unfortunately that wasn't the case with my last 2 purchases. I bought a car in 2017 and within 4 days the brakes were grinding. So they paid half to replace them and it still cost me almost $200.00. This was back brakes only. Then we were in an accident that totaled the car. As soon as insurance settled we purchased a truck. This purchase was a total nightmare. After driving the truck we told them the things that were wrong and they said they would fix them. One was the brakes. The air conditioner control wouldn't work on all speeds and there were a few other things. So they had the truck for a few days and supposedly fixed everything on the list. The brakes were grinding within a few days! The "new" control for the air conditioning worked for 4 days. The first day we drove it the exhaust fell off. After a week the back tail lights actually fell out and were dangling! Each time we took it back and they "fixed" it. And it all held up for 3 or 4 days. The final straw was when I came out of a store and as I was walking to the truck the sunlight was shining on the rear quarter panel and it looked odd. When I got to the truck I was sick to see that an entire piece had been tack welded in place and evidently the paint washed off. We knew then that we could not continue to pay for this wreck. So as I went to leave it wouldn't start. It wouldn't take a jump start either. I had to have it towed home. I found a friend that helped us get it back to Midwest and we left it there. They actually wanted us to pay them to fix it because they couldn't put it on the lot like that. Seriously? It should have never been on the lot to start with!!! So we ended it with no vehicle and them threatening to take us to court. They didn't, but I would have went because they didn't fix anything that they had agreed to fix. So if you buy here, beware! You need to go over the vehicle with a magnifying glass and a fine tooth comb. Get it in writing anything they agree to fix. Oh, I forgot. The passenger door handle fell off too. No clue where. The tail lights we had to wire down or they kept falling out and dangling. Truly was a nightmare! Buyer Beware!!

I totaled my other car and needed a new one that day she worked with me on price and we came with cash in had to look at a suburban when we showed up nothing was what it seemed, scratches and dents everywhere that shockinly wasnt put in the pictures, windsheld was damaged along with a leaking exhaust and whem you flipped to 4x4 the transmition was about to FALL OUT no wonder we got a good deal then lied about not knowing about it??? Waste of time plus the building was goss and very unprofessional.

Very friendly until they stripped a bolt. then it became a not my problem situation. they claim they had no control over the broken part and I had to pay more for the new part than the alignment I was supposed to be getting. I live in Albia and was stranded in Ottumwa. the best they could do was offer a "discount" on a rental which would have been $60.00 a day for an auto comparable to mine. I was able to get rides to and from work for 2 days waiting on the parts to be delivered Friday. they got the parts in early but when the afternoon comes and they don't have my car ready, they cant get some of the other bolts off, again leaving me stranded as my ride has plans. Now you would think that having my auto for two days they would have had everything else done just waiting to get the part, but no NO he cant get the other parts off and it wont be ready until hopefully Saturday around noon.I call again ask to speak to a manager who was conveniently unreachable and explain my situation, again no their problem, wont even work late to fix their own mistake to save me from the added expense of a rental or hotel.

Had a door in a curio cabinet that needed glass and a windshield in an f 150 that needed replaced made arrangements to pickup up glass and have windshield installed the next week they had the curio done but ordered the wrong windshield so had the make another trip in a couple of days later to have it installed but they made it right and reduced the price quite a bit and did a great job on the install so I'd highly recommend them.

Had a intoxalock installed. Was very helpful as long as you asked questions. LoL. Only need it for 4 months. Installation, calibration free. $40.00 to be uninstalled. Good Luck .
