Mike at Howard s was wonderful to work with. I had what I thought was a wheel bearing issue when I dropped it off. Mike looked at that wheel (and all the rest on top of that) and didn t see any issues with the wheel bearings. He recommended a new set of tires and charged me nearly nothing! I wouldn t have done that much work for what they charged. I would 100% recommend them!

As my father and I were on our way to the north west for a hiking trip, our cars transmission broke down on the interstate near Oskaloosa, we BARELY made it to Howard s Auto Shop and within 5 minutes, the mechanic was running tests and called two different towing companies to take us to Des Moines to the nearest Acura dealership. The service at Howard s was quick, professional, very helpful and accurate! I wrote this review on behalf of myself and my father and I hope this helps locals or foreigners in their choice of auto body s!

This morning we had an emergency on our way to our family vacation, we had only been driving about an hour and our check engine and oil pressure light came on. Our van was leaking oil everywhere. We stopped at Howards s, they found the problem (a bad oring on the filter), went to buy the part and had us back on the road in 30 minutes. They saved our vacation!!

Took my Toyota Avalon there, (Some time before writing this review). The job was done front end work, strut, bushings.It was done on time and the car felt fantastic again.
