I highly highly recommend RJ s automotive!! I bought my car at a Dealer so I go there for oil changes and then they want to fix multiple issues for an unreal cost. I am new to North Liberty so I would normally use my own mechanic which is an hour and a half away but since I found RJ and learned that he is totally trust worthy, and he is very very fair on his prices. I m not really sure why he is rated 4.7 because he definitely should be a five star business!!!! Thank you RJ & staff! You guys are the best!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Get a break at RJ Automotive! A break from the over-the-top profiteering that goes on at the other shops, because the RJA guys will fix up your vehicle at a price that s fair!

Reyes and Michael have always worked on me and my ladies cars for the last 3 years and I absolutely appreciate both of them. They treat you like family and will take the utter most car of your car! I went there for my first time to get a break bulb replaced. The staff seemed very friendly and honest. The boss was very helpful and he seemed super busy but still kept a nice and friendly convo with me. RJ was extremely helpful when I was concerned about repairs. He took the time to show me what was going on with my car and really explained the details and timing of what all needed to be done. He wasn't pushy or trying to sell me anything - just informing me about my car. He also fixed my tail light free of charge! All in all, RJ earned my trust very quickly, and I would highly recommend his service.

Had a power steering hose blow on my auto. Called RJ and he fit me in his schedule and repaired it quickly and at a reasonable price. Thanks RJ.

I had a very good experience with RJ Automotive. They have great hours and their prices were very reasonable. When I took my car in to be serviced, they also gave me a list of potential repairs I may need in the future as well as quotes for those repairs but at no time did they seem pushy or rude. I would definitely take my car there again.

Always hesitant going to a new mechanic, especially in a little bit larger community. I can honestly say I am beyond impressed with the quality service provided by RJ Automotive. There is obvious integrity, free diagnosis, quick service and amazing communication. Highly recommend.

TRUSTWORTHY says it all.Reyes an his crew provide quality work, hometown service, and great prices. They were suggested by a neighbor an I have taken three vehicles there since then, very happy.

Wheel bearing went out at 5:30 pm on I-80 and I didn't make it to RJ's till 6:00 or 6:30. They were then able to get me in and out in little over an hour. Great customer service and quick. Great pricing, I was in a pinch and they could've charged me rush fees and more but they just charged regular and was actually cheaper than Meineke. Great place, highly recommended.

First brought my 97 Nissan Pathfinder there for an oil change because of the great hours. Reyes told me I had a small oil leak, which I was aware of, showed me where it was coming from and how to repair it myself. Have kept going back since.Good guys to work with and are up front and honest.I had a crack in my coolant reservoir that needed to be replaced because I hit a deer. Reyes told me it would be much cheaper for me to buy the reservoir myself on eBay and then bring it back when I had the part. So that's what I did. Saved me $50. They even let me pick up my vehicle on Sunday, while they were closed, because I needed it that day and paid for it Monday.My only knock would be it seems like they could be a little more organized.

Reyes, the owner, is a great mechanic and really cares about getting cars fixed right. I can do most of my auto repairs myself, but if there's ever anything I can't do on my own, I take my vehicles to him. I always feel like he's doing what's best for me, never like he's trying to make a quick buck and get me out the door - the way I've felt at other shops. I live almost 40 miles away, and so far haven't had to have a vehicle towed in. However, if I needed to, I wouldn't hesitate to pay the 40 mile tow bill to have him do the work rather than take it to the shop in my home town.I once heard him tell another customer that he could get their car driveable for a few hundred dollars, but to get everything fixed would cost more than the car was worth and they should probably see what a scrap yard would give them for their car. I didn't think that kind of honesty existed anymore, and that's why I keep going back. The only downside is his waiting area isn't very spacious, so I find something else to do in the area, or find a ride home if needed, and leave my vehicle with him until it's done. But the upside to that is I know I'm not paying for a 500 square foot lounge with two big screen TVs and leather couches.

I feel very confident taking my car to RJ automotive. The guys there are always very honest and fair with me. I've taken my car there for oil changes, transmission, and a general check and I've always been very pleased with the quality and timelines of their work. They are very knowledgeable and helpful and I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Best place in town! I've been several places in town but I won't go anywhere else now. Honest is the best way to describe them. Will not push unnecessary repairs or work on you. Made time to help me out in and emergency one time. Highly recommend!

I was broke down with my two dogs and they were immediately available and suggested a towing service too! Knowledgeable and friendly! Thanks a million for helping me out!!They were very accommodating to me and my girls. I would recommend to any one in the area!!!!

Very honest! Will go back for future repairs. Took the extra time to find our a/c problem, vs just saying the compressor was bad. Ending up being a broken wire, they replaced it and saved us hundreds on a new compressor.
