Archies is the only place i go to, to get my car fixed, they're the best in the vehicle repair business. Shout out to Ty Arnette he's your man to go to! He got me in & out quicker then any other car place I've gone to. He's very knowledgeable about vehicles & answered all my questions expertly! Customer service was top notch(very helpful & friendly).

Wish I could give them 0 stars if I could. I was recommended to Archie s by a bunch of my family members because they had some good experience with them. I called Archie s stating that my AC/HEAT wasn t working and my crusie control wasn t working. They ended up finding a bunch of stuff wrong with my vehicle and gave a me a quote to fix everything. The quote was pretty high so I ended up getting it fixed elsewhere, but I was charged around $400 just to find out what was wrong, not to get anything actually fixed, but that s not the part I m upset about. When I got my truck back from there shop I was having to jump start it everytime I started it. I was not having to do that at all before I took it to them. I could just tell something wasn t right about my ignition. I couldn't even put my truck into accessory mode. The ignition wasn t put together how it was before. I called them and told them how I was having to jump my truck everytime I started it and how it wasn t doing that before. They said well that s your ignition switch going bad. If my ignition switch was bad before I brought it to the shop why wasn t I having to jump start it before hand? Then I was told that they had to jump start it in the shop a few times. They never mentioned this until I mentioned myself having to jump start it. Instead of trying to make it right and putting my ignition switch back together like it was before they acted like they didn t really care or want to fix it for free. I wouldn t recommend this place to anyone at all. This is just one of those shops that is just out for money and not much else. Now I have more problems with my vehicle than I had before.

My tires were low, and the gas stations were all frozen. They got me in without an appointment and filled my tires. Super big thanks to the crew for all the help.

I called for an appointment this morning and they were able to get me in this afternoon during my break for an oil change with a free tire rotation. Ended up also getting a new air filter because I knew it was long overdue and very gross. Super friendly, professional, fast and efficient service. All at a fair price. It's a great location and beautiful new facility. Ty was extremely helpful and I received stellar service. I will absolutely continue to give them my business. I was treated with great respect and care. Everyone I came into contact with had a pride in their work and valued the customers. I do most of my mechanical work myself, but for the things I either can t do or don t want to do, Archie s is the ONLY place I will trust with my vehicles. Very thorough and will do the job right the first time. It is clear Ron genuinely cares about his customers and employees just by watching his interactions. Top-tier customer service and their new building is great too.

There are very few "old school" businesses in North Liberty that believe and practice great customer service at an affordable rate. Ron and his staff are knowledgeable and helpful and get the job done on a timely basis.

These guys are awesome. Impeccable service, very quick turnaround time, offer shuttle service, key drop off box and great customer service. They will tell you what's wrong and how much it will be beforehand. Competitive prices and lot of times been less than other local places. I don't normally give 5 star reviews unless unless a business wins me over to the point I would promote them to others regularly. This is one of those places.

Don t go here if you want to be respected. Even the management is rude. The manager and techs made fun of a customer after simply questioning a $500+ brake job (just for the front rotors and pads on a 2016 Chevy Malibu). Upon completion of the service the start/stop function of the car didn t work and the brakes weren t even bled correctly. After it was all set and done, quoted three different shops and they were all well under what was payed here.

I have been coming to Archie's for many years now and I am always happy with the service. I know that I can trust them with my car and they don't try to lie or sell you something you don't need. They also will give you a ride home and pick you up if you are within a certain distance. I think the owner and all of the employees are very nice and respectful. They also have a punch card for oil changes, which is super nice. I will always go to Archie's for all of my auto needs, and all of my family goes there too.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

First time at this business. Seems like a great place to take your vehicle for basic maintenance and larger repairs. But nowhere online or inside the shop are there prices for basic maintenance. Nevertheless, they worked on my vehicle for a very good price, taxes included. I will be going back.

I went into here hoping for good service because I'd heard people's positive experience with this place. Now I'm out of 3k with a car that Now seems more broken than before. The car is making a rattling noise when accelerating and breaking(parking) which would mean the issue could be with wornout suspension components, loose heat shields and/or low transmission fluids. Funny enough those are the services we paid for because they said we needed a brand new subframe and all of the services that came with which were oil change, four-wheel alignment, front brake pads, replace rear coil springs, checked suspension steering parts, topped off all fluids etc. There was a lot that got done on this car per their professional recommendation. When I received the car back it was making a rattling noise I've never heard before and my car's service engine lights are on. I thought that was weird, but was hoping it would go away. It did not, the rattling only worsened. I brought it back in to get it checked out, but was gaslit about the noise the car was making. (It's a shame I cannot upload a video about this issue.)This was really unprofessional behavior and I'm really disappointed with the service. Upon reading the reviews, women seem to have the most trouble. Maybe this isn't the place for you if you're a woman, but if you're a man you'll probably a have a really good experience. I have been here for an oil change before and went into Archie's again for a routine oil change. About halfway through I saw the technicians (plural because they were all standing around) pointing at my front wheels and laughing. They also were heavily vaping while fixing my car. After an hour they called me in to look at the front brakes and rotors. I agreed that they looked like they need replaced so we went back to talk about pricing. The man at the front desk said we can do both front breaks and rotors with the oil change for $504. I said I would make some calls and let them know. The man at the front desk said that they could price match with any other offer that I received. After calling around for approximately 5 minutes I noticed that that price was very high. I went up to the desk and asked them if I could just stick with the oil change this time and figure out my brakes later. He basically said that if I drove away my brakes would fail and cost me a lot more money. After asking multiple times if I could just wait they told me their technicians had already started and they couldn't stop. After arguing with Ron about the price for 20 minutes he kept insulting me and saying he didn't understand what I was after. Then he told me that the price was $583 which is $79 more than what they originally told me. He also said there was no way they would price match after his employee told me that he could. I asked if they could use something other than ceramic and they said that was all they had when the name of their business is Archies BRAKE & quick lube. When I left the shop after 2.5 hours my car was worse than when I went in. They messed up my sensors and my Auto Stop-Start does not work. I will need to take my car in to another auto shop which is going to cost more. All in all they absolutely screwed me for the price of new rotors and brakes. They also have terrible customer service and were trying to take advantage of me as a young woman. They asked if I was in college and when I told them I wasn't their whole demeanor changed. I WILL NOT be returning to Archie's and I would HIGHLY not recommend it to anyone in the area.Services: Brakes, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

Brought my car in on a p0303 misfire after I called multiple shops in North Liberty and never got a callback. They wanted to do an engine swap for a failed valve exhaust. They quoted me $9900 for my Jeep. I told them I had to think about it, then they called back about a previous error and re-quoted me $6900. Had a 2nd opion at a really well known and reputable shop in Iowa City that fixed issue which wound up being a failed valve spring.The 1st quote was ridiculous, the re-quoted was sketchy, the jumping to "swap the engine" instead of rebuilding it or taking the time to find a definitive source of the problem is a problem to me. I'd be hesitant to bring them a vehicle for anything outside of usual service work.

Ron and his technicians are great! They got me in super quick and made sure my oil change and tire rotation was done before I had to be at work that day. It's hard to find a trusted and fair mechanic. We recommend Archie's to all our friends. They do not oversell and have made valuable recommendations when our car's have an issue that needs addressed by the manufacturer or dealership. They even found a warranty/recall that replaced my car's engine.

Was quoted a cost of "six nine two one" over the phone and thought that meant $69.21 since that is how it is spoken with the last two numbers meaning cents. Turns out they meant $692.10. Need to change the way you quote your customers, quoting it that way should've equaled out to either 69.21 or 6,921. There are two decimal places for cents, not one. Next time say hundred in the quote, never put another customer in this position. Also had the car returned to us with two tires at 9psi and 21psi. This is not the first time that we have been disappointed in the services here, but it will be our last as we won't be coming back.

Since moving from Northwest Iowa to Cedar Rapids it is difficult to find a garage that you can trust. I have brought my vehicle to Archies for all my services. Ron and his staff are friendly, trustworthy and knowledgeable. When you walk into Archies the atmosphere is welcoming and Ty is ready to help you with what you need. I would recommend Archies to anyone who needs big or small repairs or just an oil change. Awesome place. My first time going was fantastic. I've had a hard time finding a service shop that I trust and would continue to go to ever since moving to the area, but I will most definitely take my vehicle here for everything I need. The guys are very nice and very quick, I was in and out for an oil change and tire rotation within about 25 minutes. The waiting area is nice and comfortable and they have complimentary drinks and snacks if that's your thing. The owner, I believe his name was Ron if my memory serves me right, was very friendly. He seemed busy and was on the phone for the most part when I saw him, but he made sure to take time to speak to me which was appreciated. The service was great and the price was much better than other local shops. They even have a punch card for oil changes which is awesome and greatly appreciated. All in all, I had great experience and will be returning.

I came here for a routine oil change and tire rotation. Immediately after I left my wheel began to shake. I had to drive to Des Moines to catch a flight and ended up having to stop at a tire place in Des Moines where they found out my tire belt had separated. The tire place in Des Moines could not believe that Archie's did not catch this or in fact caused the issue.

These guys did a phenomenal job with detailing my car! I hadn t gotten my car detailed in YEARS, and with hauling around a big dog all the time whose hairs had practically become engrained in the fibers of my car s upholstery, along with all the mud stains and such that come with a big dog, they had their work cut out for them. They were quick and efficient, super friendly, and got my car looking like new again, which I didn t think was possible at this point. And they could have charged me FAR more for all the work they must have put in, but they were well beyond reasonable with their rate as well. Super impressed, and would strongly recommend them!

Simply amazing team, Kris was so kind to help me with my rental car during a rough time. Her husband was super friendly and looked a car over for me. I also met Dallas when dropping my rental back off, he was super friendly too. Everyone I came into contact with at Archie's was great! I'd highly recommend them to ANYONE.

I had always had good experiences with oil changes and tire rotations. I took my car in for new rotors which went bad a little over a year. Was told by Nissan they were not installed properly. Archie s ended up fixing for free after they noticed they were worn and shouldn t be that quickly. Great, thanks! I then took my car back for an oil change, told them to ONLY CHECK the coolant in my car because it wasn t getting as cold (it was still working- I explained this specifically to front desk) The appointment took an hour and a half, I was then told their machine that checks it broke. I left that appt on one of the hottest days of the summer, as I m driving away, I notice my air didn t work at all. They failed to tell me they drained my coolant completely when the machine broke. They got me in to fill the coolant back up right away. My air worked for a week, it started to make noises, and then completely stopped working. I called AGAIN saying it was completely broke a little irritated I ever mentioned anything because of all of the problems I now was having. I brought it back in (3rd time) and was then told a tube was broke and it was common in Nissan Rogues. Highly irritated I took my car to Carousel Nissan. They told me this was not a problem with Nissans. I was so irritated I had someone else deal with them. My friend was told it wasn t their problem (even though they never seemed to notice this break in a line when they had drained my fluid without telling me and filled it back up- so my car was seen twice before noticing this the 3rd time) After a fight to get it fixed for free they said they d do it and didn t want me returning for service. Fine. I drove off that day and the underneath cover for my car flew off on highway 380. Thankfully did not cause any accidents on a very busy highway. I called to tell them and of course they did not care. I paid for this and had Nissan Carousel replace it, so I wouldn t have any more issues with my car from Archie s. Now it s winter and everything with heating is messed up as well. One star for all the trouble I ve dealt with with this business.

Ron and team are incredibly courteous and knowledgeable. I have never had an issue getting a vehicle in to get serviced. Their waiting area is immaculate. Prices are just as good, if not better, than your chain oil and lube stores.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

They did an EXCELLENT job on cleaning my car. It had been very dirty and it looks brand new.I am giving a 4 though because of customer service and the surprise additional costs. I had an email conversation with a Ron whom never discussed that the "medium dog" would cost more than 200 dollars due to time, my appointment was never officially made and I just surprised whomever was in charge this morning with my car, and lastly when I come to pick up my car- it's an extra 50 dollar charge for time and an extra 75 for dog hair. That morning I was told it would be additional charge for dog hair. I was not told it would be 75 dollars more. I honestly don't have that kind of wiggle room in my money right now. They helped me with what they could.But, be VERY CLEAR AND ASK THE EMPLOYEES LOTS OF QUESTIONS BEFOREHAND if you don't have a lot of money on hand like me.(It was an entire month's pay for me, working 5-6 days a week)

I was visiting family in North Liberty and had to bring my car in because the coolant system was causing the car to decelerate and eventually shutting the engine off. This place was only a few miles away so it was definitely convenient.The place was so clean and the service from Ron and his staff at Archie s were so amazing! Everyone was extremely friendly and Ron went above and beyond to help identify the problems associated with my car. He also identified that it was a recall issue and suggested that I bring it to a Toyota dealership so that it gets covered.Great customer service always leave a lasting impression and I will make sure to recommend Archie s to family here and anyone I know who lives in the area who needs auto services.Thanks for all your help this morning, Ron!

My husband and I highly recommend Archie's. They are honest workers and treat us like valued customers. Very reasonably priced and courteous. I live about 30 mins away with several other options for auto services closer to my home, but I try to make time to take my cars to Archie's for service. It is worth it! I have taken my kids with me for oil changes and they were very accommodating and made sure my kids were happy and comfortable while we waited. I definitely recommend Archie's!!

I've used Archie's Brake and Quick Lube for oil changes, tire rotations, and vehicle detail. Reasonably priced for a high quality product/service. I have two long haired dogs that go every where with me and Archie's has gotten my vehicle back to looking like new two times now! Impressive work! Highly recommend.
