The service I requested was diagnosed and repaired quicker than expected. My extended warranty paid for the repairs less my deductible. There was absolutely no hassle filing that claim And paying my.Deductible over the phone was also painless.Thank you, Greg young for being exactly what you said. In 50 years of having dealings with automobile service departments this was by far the most pleasant of all. We were traveling from PA to CO in our Wrangler when the battery warning light illuminated as we rolled into Newton. I saw that there was a dealer in town so the next morning we drove over, not having much hope that they would be able to look at it right away without an appointment. When I told Bill and Luke about our predicament they immediately said a technician would take care of it and within 10 minutes it was being worked on. The empathy that both these gentlemen displayed was nothing short of amazing. Not only was the issue taken care of, it was only 3 1/2 hours from the time we drove in until it was repaired with a replacement alternator, all with a smile and the utmost in professionalism. Kudos also to the technician who worked on the vehicle. I didn't get your name but your efforts are definitely appreciated. Thank you for taking such good care of us.In my experience what happens in the service department flows through to sales and vice versa. Even though we had no direct interaction with the sales department I can say unequivocally that I would feel completely comfortable purchasing a vehicle here. Definitely a well run, people oriented dealership. Thank you.

I don't like letting dealers touch my vehicles, but had to for recalls. Dealership clean with courteous staff. Have had a few warranty items handled here as well. Uneventful, which is good. Overall an A+ experience so far....but i have never been able to strike a deal on a new vehicle there.

The staff and the dealer that I worked with were super friendly. I did however end up getting pretty screwed. I was over financed for my vehicle and they failed to tell me that the gap insurance they sold me was void because of the over financing. So when I totaled my car 2 months after purchase (deer) and was reassured the gap would absolutely cover the remaining balance, I purchased a different car. Then had to make two car payments for years. I will never be back.

I took my vehicle in for an oil change, tire rotation, and to check on the status of a check engine light that had been on a couple weeks. I got a call from the service department indicating my 6th cylinder was probably bad and I needed a new gasket and spark plugs--the bill would be $1400 plus. Initially I said yes (I was in shock), but then contacted a good friend and long time mechanic. I took the car to him. The diagnostic info had been cleared, but he kept the car a couple days and found nothing appeared to be misfiring. While he couldn't guarantee it, he suggested he add a bottle of fuel injector into my gas tank, drive the car down to a half tank, then fill it up again with the same gas. The car never did run poorly and has been running great since. My friend also said a cylinder problem at my low mileage is rare. His bill was $88 plus tax. Gregg Young charged me $175 (hourly rate) for a 10 minute diagnostic, and their labor estimate for the work was 3 hours at $175 (so in essence I paid $280 for an oil change). The labor guide book, per my friend, was 2.3 hours for the work proposed. I assume the diagnostic was inflated as well. So not only are their rates at the VERY top, they seem to have a policy of rounding up. I may or may not eventually need the work done, but it would seem it makes much more sense to try what my friend did first, instead of suggesting work that is totally speculative. I will never be returning and feel I was taken advantage of.

Went out to at a car I was told by the sales man just come out everything looks great. We get there they run the credit and was told a few lies then. Next was told everyone was gone for the night that was a Friday was told someone would call Saturday or Monday never heard a word from them. So again big car company just lies to get people in their doors. Worst place to do any business

I was in the worst spot I could ve been. I was over 100 miles from home, my check engine light starts flashing now what else can go wrong!? I called many Chrysler/Ram dealerships to get my Ram fixed and they re all busy at least a week out. I was able to get my Ram towed to Gregg Young Chrysler Ram. They had it in, problem diagnosed, part ordered and fixed in just a couple days. Fast service, good work, and ready to go in no time.

I took my mini van in with several issues. I have one of those additional warranty companies that I know is very difficult to deal with. Lucas fought on the phone with this company until he finally got the approval. Their service was top notch and everyone was kind. I know I will be back the next time I have an issue.

Vanessa was exceptional in assisting me with purchase of our Dodge ProMaster City. She understood my needs and was very accommodating with my schedule for pick-up. While traveling enjoying our beautiful country my jeep decided it needed routine service so pulled into Gregg Young Chrysler/Jeep. Not only did they do the service needed, educated at my request on the different type oil my jeep used due to it's age. I left the service bay with an extra qt of the correct oil to carry with me for the rest of the trip, who does that! The mechanics checked everything since I was traveling but was later told they do this for everyone of their customers, I would buy one of their cars if lived here just to have the confidence they were the only one's caring for said vehicle. I appreciate the service I received it is always tentative when you run into problems while traveling. Thanks, The tech's at Gregg's are top of the mark! Turner

If you need new tires or work done, go somewhere else. Didn t have enough air pressure in 3 of my brand new tires after picking up my vehicle. They don t replace valve stems so after not having any issues before hand, I ve had to replace 2 valve stems at my own cost. Very disappointed in spending over $1,300.00 just to have more issues now than I did before. Customer service wasn t great either (other than the sale on the tires), and getting back in after having the work done and now having an issue was a hassle.

Took the vehicle in for a 2nd opinion diagnostic. Highly questionable estimate for repairs for the justification of work needed, the amount of work needed, and redundant charges.Emailed questions in and got a feeble explanation on (1) item while ignoring the others.In short, I felt this was an up sell of work not needed, piss poor justification if one was given, and an attempt to squeeze money from a potential customer. (I was referred to as a guest .. Guess that s a new term to justify dishonesty.)

Just my personal experience here, which honestly is the worst one I have ever had with a dealership. I did the KBB instant cash offer on my car. I currently owe around 12K, but the offer was for a little over $8K. Sure ok, if I could find something that worked within my budget, I could roll the extra 4K over. I spoke to Nolan at the dealership. I told him the situation and what I was looking for as far as by monthly budget went. He assured me we could find something. So, I filled out the credit app ahead of time and talked about a new car. I was told we could make it work, so I stopped into the Greg Young location in Newton on Friday September 15th. After waiting while they looked at my car, the finance manager came over and said they could only offer about $7K on the trade. OK, so I would have $5K rolled into a new car instead of $4K and would put $1K down. He then said my payment would be $650. About $200 higher than what I have said multiple times was my budget. I again said no that my budget is around $450 a month for a car payment. They said they would get ahold of me once they had something that would work with that. I missed a call from Nolan at 2:27pm on Wednesday Sept 20th. I called back and left him a message at 2:35pm. At 4:10pm since I had not received a response, I texted to follow up and asked for the link to the car he said would work. He sent it over at 4:21, and I replied at 4:24pm asking what the payment would be. At 5:58pm I get a reply saying it would depend on credit, and he said to come out and they would see what they can do. I explained that they already ran my credit and valued my trade, and that I would like a number as far as term and payment before making another 45-minute drive out there. Thursday 9/21 at 8:12am, he said he would check on that. And then it was silent all day. At 5:22pm I text again saying I wanted to follow up. At 6:27pm he replied saying they got tied up and would get back to me in the morning. I heard nothing until I called the dealership on Thursday 9/22 at 3:25pm and left a message for Nolan again. He called back at 3:32pm, at which time I was told the car sold a few days ago. Zero communication to me, and I am basically having to chase the salesman to get responses. At 4:22pm that afternoon he sent me a link for a car asking what I thought. Again, it has been explained repeatedly what my budget is for a car payment, and they already pulled my credit and have all the numbers they need. I said I liked it and he said he would get with Finance in the morning. What struck me as odd, was that the first car I looked at was about the same price, and they told me it would be $650, so it was odd that they were offering me a car that was about the same price but was somehow within the budget we have discussed several times. On Saturday 9/23 I get a video of the car and so I responded asking if there was anything found for financing. Nolan said he would have his manager Casey give me a call. I spoke to Casey that morning at 8:59am. Casey told me they found financing, and my payment would be $750 a month even higher than what I had been quoted for the brand-new car. I said no, absolutely not. And I was done trying to work with them.So, if you want to work with a dealership where they ignore you, don t listen to your budget, don t call you back, and make you have to chase the salesman, then this is the place for you. If you want efficient, good listening, honest communication where you don t feel like you are chasing people and begging them to take your money, then go ANYHWERE OTHER THAN HERE. So, I basically got a hard inquiry and a drop in my credit score to play this really cruddy game that they are playing. BUYER BEWARE. I have screen shots and phone logs to back all of this up as well, just in case they try to defend themselves here.

I had a 2 pm appointment for an oil change and a tire rotation. I was on time for the appointment. I finally left the place 1 hour and 45 minutes later after they completed the job. That was a long wait for a oil change and a tire rotation. I gave two stars because they did the tire rotation correctly. ( I have snow tires on my jeep. ) I also gave 2 stars because they were friendly. An hour and 45 minutes is an excessive wait time. Your shop needs to make the appointments a priority when you only make 4 a day.
