Bought a car here and was happy with the service overall. We did have an issue with the registration but they corrected the problem. It just took a few months longer than we would have liked.

Honestly don t even think they deserve one star. Bought a car 8 months ago and they have yet to give us the registration. They said they lost the title so they have to get a replacement. That was two months ago. My husband hit a deer and the car was totaled out but we can t settle with our insurance because Uptown hasn t sent in the registration to the Treasurer. So now we are having to pay on a loan for a car that we can no longer use. All because Dave doesn t know how to do his job and is extremely unorganized. He doesn t care about his customers and I genuinely don t know how they still have a business. Please avoid this dealership at all cost. Have heard this is not the first time he s lost titles for cars he has sold.

I bought a truck from them less than a year ago, with the rain lately I realized there was a leak in the back. Took it in to have it looked at. Right away was told the issue was the third brake light and it needed replaced without even checking it out. Had them replace it, still have a bad leak. Was told take it to excel to have the window sealed and we could figure something out with the sales team once that was done. Went back in today and now they are not wanting to work with me on refunding the brake light cost. Have had terrible customer service my whole experience. Will absolutely never buy another vehicle there.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Have bought several cars throughout the years from Uptown.They found a car I wanted and liked from the Cedar Rapids area.I was told it had remote start.. It didn'tI wanted the "Odd Ball" tire replaced to match the other three.. Hasn't happened yet.I asked for a manual for the car.. Haven't received it yet.No follow up communications.. I'm a forgotten customer.Little disappointed this time around.

I want to thank you in a very special way to the service department for rheir help.I was traveling crossed country and a engine light came up in my car putting me in a panic as its 2 females alone. They took me in right away check for the problem and it was a simple fix. They treated us with a lot of respect and put us at ease. Great and reliable place to go if in need of a good car for just the right price. These fellas have always been good to my parents, grandparents, and now that same service is following through with my siblings and I. A memorable moment was my car would not unlock for some odd reason, and they sent one of their guys down to pry it open for me, no damage, free of charge, and friendly.

We were in town for a wedding and our car stalled and the battery and oil indicators came on. We stopped at AutoZone for a battery check and all was well, so they referred us to Uptown Motors. We didn't even have an appointment but they looked at the car shortly after we brought it there and discovered the oil was very low. We didn't have enough time for the repairs while in town, but they topped off the oil free of charge. As we were leaving, one of the employees flagged us down and gave us a free bottle of engine oil to make sure we could make it home. Thank you so much for making what could have been a very painful experience easy as cake. I wish I lived in town so that I could be a return customer! At the very least I will refer my relatives that live here to bring their cars to Uptown Motors!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I bought a truck tht fell apart one month later with a fight they fixed theissues with a tune up, one year later I'm have wrk done with muscatine tire and wheel who show me evidence tht the tune up uptown claimed to do was actually a lie along with evidence of using wrong cheap parts to fix a problem for a short time frame. I warn anyone who is thinking of doing anytime of business with uptown motore lo aged on the bypass

Fair prices, and speedy service. I have only taken a couple tires in to be switched over onto a rim. But I have no complaints & the price was the best I could find without making an appointment.

Best place to find a used car if they don't have it they will find d it. My grandpa drives all over the country picking up cars for customers. Seriously just go and talk to Jake or Dave. If anything is wrong with your vehicle to they can fix it, even if it's just an oil change.

We looked at one dealership after another and was very tired of the experience! Then wife stopped in on a whim, great cars, great deal, great salesmen, and a great experience! We will definitely go to uptown first next time we buy a car!

Excellent, professional job and fast too! Ask for Silvin Reed if you have any mechanical questions and or problems with your vehicle! Regardless of the make or model Silvin and his team can fix anything and are 100% honest with you! Uptown is the ONLY place I trust with my vehicles and my family's vehicles! You will be treated right!

Went there to buy a truck. Said I would be back the next day. They sold it. I wouldn't buy a stick of gum from them. You shake a man's hand and tell them it's yours then sell it to someone else. Your word means nothing
