The lower unit failed on my outboard 3 years ago after hitting a object in the water. They replaced the lower unit and it will be going in for it's annual service.

My wife and I ordered our tri-toon from Mills Marine. This is the second boat we have purchased from them. They have always been helpful, courteous and patient. We look forward to doing business for many more years with them.

I took my new Tracker in for a winterization recently, I talked with the owner, I had even talked to his wife breifly, they both were very nice. Business was clean, they were very professional, and my boat was completed when they said it would be. I am sure I will go back next year for whatever I need when the season kicks in again! I read a lot of reviews before going and you have to read through a lot of them to get a feel for what is honest and what is just venting. I have left my share of bad reviews but only if they are what I actually experienced and not out of spite.

Absolutely Terrible mechanics and people. Won t give you a straight answer and they do not know what they are talking about. Would have better luck taking your boat to Walmart tire center

Went to look at a nice little used fishing boat and the entire staff was extremely helpful in answering questions and taking the time to explain various things. Then even after I bought the boat, Matt went above and beyond in helping me get it registered and squared away with my county. This is definitely not an example of once you buy something, you're on your own! Even though it's a bit of a drive from where I'm at, they'll be at the top of my list in the future when I need something.

Worst experience at a boat shop I ve ever had. First off the owner, Matt Mills, is a complete slob. This guy had mustard stains all over his shirt when I walked in at 9am. Who eats mustard before 9 am. His appearance matched his attitude, utterly unprofessional. I will never set foot in this place again. Quoted for new raw water pump on a 4.3 Merc, $800 and had a second quote at $389 from an alternative, reputable location. Completely asinine. 0/5 stars would not recommend.

Took my boat w/ outboard motor in to get a water pump replaced. It took about a week for the water pump to come in. I called to check on it after a couple days of them having it and they said they were still waiting on it I asked if they new a round about amount it was going to be for replacing it they said they didn't know. Went to pick it up today apparently they felt the need to do a complete service on it without calling or asking and charging us for it after they were specifically told that the upper oil didnt need changed when it was dropped off. The lady at the front desk blamed my husband for it. They were very rude and admitted that they should of called and said oh well next time and my husband told them there wouldn't be a next time also told him that they charge for labor by the book but yet couldnt give an estimate so if you want to spend 400.00 on a water pump this is the place for you.

Took my 9.9 mercury motor in to have checked out cause it died on me twice when i went on the water. They said it didn't sound like good news from what i told them and after they took it apart they called me almost a week later after "looking" at it saying it was blown. So i picked it up and took it home and made the mistake of not looking at it and they left it all torn apart with the bolts in a baggie etc. A family friend was curious about it and looked at it and it had great compression, good spark to it, so we took an hour or so to put it back together and it started up by the second pull. Turned out i didn't mix the oil and fuel quite right so it got too hot. I would think professionals could spot something borderline to that since it took my friend minutes to figure it was probably. Since then I've ran it almost a dozen times full speed and no issues. Won't go back there again.

Been taking my boat here for years... used to be good service. Something has drastically changed.Brought my boat in for tune up and new prop on Mercury 90hp 2 stroke. It took 6 weeks to get a gasket replaced, tune up (which apparently didnt happen) and new prop installed. Zero communications! Never got a single call about any delays. I had to call every week to get an update. First I was told the mechanic assigned needed to go on vacation. Then they kept blaming Mercury for delivery of parts, when they never ordered the parts to begin with. When I got the boat back the fuel line was severed, the old parts were left all over the boat and the oil reservoir was empty. They obviously never started it back up to see if it would run, because it DOESNT!! A bunch of unqualified "mechanics"? Charged for 13 hours of labor...I dont think so. I should've taken it back to remedy the problems but I won't let them touch my boat again...ever!I had to take the boat to another mechanic who fixed it 1ST TIME in 3 hours. Sadly, after so many years of polite helpful services, I will never return to Mills. And I recommend anyone needing motor repair find someone better. These guys dont know what they are doing.

Took our Mercury to mid river marina to correct the aftermath of this dog and pony show at Mills marine. Matt is ???? $700 later it runs like a dream. These people had no clue. I brought it back 4 times and it ran worse everytime they worked on it.If you don't know how to work on a carburator Mills marine, then keep your hands off .Cost me over a thousand dollars for this lesson. The marina I took it to to fix says they get Mills mistakes all the time. Don't use this business. If you want service work go somewhere else.They did not do what they said they would do. We're very rude and nasty , covering up all the mistakes. I don't trust the two in the office at all. Matt and his wife. Crooks

Can not rebuild a motor correctly. Installed pistons in wrong cylinder, port in starboard.8 months later and proof from another marine repair shop of incorrect work. Took back 4 times, always something else and more $. STAY AWAY.Liar and incompetent business practices are their way of deceiving the public.

Great service very friendly have alot on hand so far I've never been told sorry have to order that witch in my book is top shelf, who wants to wait for a part and a nice floor for lots of basic needs for boating
