Needed a door rekeyed. I called and asked if they were local. They replied they were. They then transferred me through a series automated prompts; then it just hung up. I called back and was told they were not local. If you are in the Muscatine area. Go elsewhere.

Went to Menards and made our own keys. Took some time but comparable if waiting for someone else to make them. All 3 keys worked well, which is a plus.

The best key copy I have experience. The other key copy in stores I have to return they don't work. Our town doesn't have a locksmith that has time to make keys.

I really like being able to zip in to my local Menard s store and get keys made. I have used KeyMe several times and the keys have always worked very well. The additional options, such as being able to store your key codes within the system is another great benefit. The very first time I attempted to use a KeyMe system the unit was out of order, which could be a real problem if a person is depending on the system being up and running. Saying that, it is very important that the KeyMe system is kept running and in good working order.

Was unsure about getting keys done this way but to my surprise and delight it was an easy process and did not take long to get my 2 keys plus a third one free. They work and the different colors make them easy to identify. I will definitely use this service again.

I was a little skeptical at first, I had used one of their machines at a well known home improvement store and was told they had to special make the keys and mail them to me. I paid for it that day, and the keys came incredibly fast and well made! I ordered two new keys to my shed, and one "chipped" key for my 2006 Highlander Hybrid LTD. The car key was $150 less than the dealership quoted me, and works just as well! I would not hesitate to do business with this company again. Great experience all around!Update: I hate to do this, but dropped it from five to three stars because the more expensive "chipped" key that I purchased from them broke, and the base of the key worked without the chip, which made me think I paid more for a key that I am not sure needed to be "chipped". Keep in mind this is a 2006 Highlander Hybrid I am talking about, so the newer cars may differ.

Went to the Davenport location twice over 2 days. Machine was "calabrating". Could not use.Went to Muscatine location, worked good. All 4 keys worked.

First time using the new type machine, I m glad it s in a good location at menards as more quiet if there is a group standing around it s hard to understand what the key machine is telling you. I was very satisfied with the key makings, At first I compared the key with the original and didn t think they would work as they wasn t as sharp pointed, anyway I made four keys and they all work well, Good Job

We bought a used cargo trailer but did not have a key for the side door lock. Looked up the number on KeyMe's website and now have a key.

They were out of one logo key, i was immediately contacted by a very nice lady that answered all my questions and I still received keys before i thought i would.
