I was a little nervous to travel from 5 hours away to test drive a truck alone and had to work out the details of renting a car and figuring out the logistics. Armando was very patient and his communication was amazing while I figured this out. He did not rush me but held the truck for me until I was able to get there. He greeted me with my vehicle of interest ready to drive. He let me take my time and look over everything. I did happen to find a small coolant leak in which he had fixed right then and there to ensure I was getting my vehicle in top condition. He worked with me on pricing and made sure I was comfortable while I waited in the office. Armando offered me food and water as he knew I had been traveling all day. He even helped me by having one of his workers give me a ride to and from the rental car property so that I did not have to pay for an Uber. I would 100% buy a vehicle from him again. My truck is running and driving amazing!!! Thank you so much Liberty Auto!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought a car from Liberty from a different state. He sent me pictures and said the car was great. When I finally got it and took it to my mechanic I realized the bottom was completely rusted out. He never said anything and told me it was in good shape. I have messaged and emailed an zero response now. Was great communication during the transaction.

Outstanding service and hospitality. Armando is a great guy. Told my 76 year old mother he would drop the price on a vehicle and held it for her over the weekend. Definitely a Man of his word. I would definitely entertain the idea of buying a vehicle from Liberty again. Great deals really! Armando is very passionate about his customers. You wont find better prices, worth the drive. I bought an 11 equinox last april 2022 for it to start having engine and oil problems 3 days later. I took it back and they were gonna fix it. He did give me an impala to drive as i m a single mom and had appointments. the battery light in that was turning on and it was a very reliable car. after getting my car back a MONTH later the engine blew and come to find out they didn t do anything they said! It put me back a lot in finances having to find something different and 6200$ down the drain for something I barley drove. I called liberty auto when my motor blew and asked if he remembered the car and stuff and didn t say much and acted like he didn t know what I was talking about.

We found a truck at Liberty that we wanted to buy for our son to surprise him on his 16th birthday. Armando agreed to hold the truck for 48 hours as we were flying from Denver to pick the truck up. Unfortunately, when we arrived the truck had accidentally been sold. We were crushed. However, they were extremely apologetic, admitted to their mistake and even wrote us a check to cover our round-trip travel. Although the situation was really unfortunate, we understand that mistakes happen. Their integrity is really commendable.

I was kind of in a hurry to buy a vehicle after hitting a deer and totaling my car. Went to look at a car in onawa it was a piece of junk. Stopped to look here and found a cute Ford Escape that I fell in love with. Everything was perfect when test driving. Then I drove it 2 hours and it said it was over heating , turns out it was a bad thermostat. They graciously fixed it which I was surprised and thankful for considering it s an as is sale. Then it started to make a clunking sound. Took it in to my mechanic and the drive shaft was loose from the axle, that didn t fix it so took it back and all of the spark plugs were different. Now, a month after buying it, the air conditioning quit working and now a tire sensor is out. I ve already put about 500$ into this car and the car was already out of my price range. Not impressed with the vehicle but the owners were incredibly nice so that s why they get 2 stars. Beware and KNOW what you re looking for when you go here..

Hello. I have never written a review on Google, but I felt our experience with Liberty Auto Sales, and Armando, is well worth noting. My daughter was wanting a particular car, make, model, color, and she happened to find it online at Liberty. We contacted Armando online and he said the car was still available, but it was a 250 mile drive from our home. We rolled the dice, based on Armando's description of the car, and extra pictures we asked for. In the end, we arrived at Liberty and Armando met us in the parking lot. A warm welcome. He explained they operate a family business and was very straightforward in our bargaining and the purchase. I've purchased many cars in my 50 years, but working with Armando was the best experience (new and used) I've been a part of. Very happy customers. God Bless you too Armando. Went to look at a vehicle they had for sale. Been in contact with a rep and told him I would be there to check it out the next day and the time I would be there.Well I arrived that next day at the time specified and they had already sold it. Now I get it that they are a business and I respect that. However, having driven 80 miles round trip to see a car they had sold was not good customer service. They had my contact info. It wouldn't have hurt to advise me that the vehicle had sold. Waste of time and gas.

Bought a car here and it had quite a few issues right after I bought it. Armondo could have told Me it s sold as is but he worked with me to get me into a different car and made sure I was taken care of. I d buy again knowing he will do what is right for me as a customer!

After test driving a vehicle, we realized there was an issue with it. We told them about it. They took our information, but honestly did not think we would hear from them again. I was so wrong. They called the next day and told us what was wrong with the vehicle and that they would fix it. They even lowered the price. Went back 2 days after the original test drive. Looked and saw the new parts that were put on, they even showed a receipt of what they replaced and they lowered the price of the vehicle. Would definitely buy from Liberty again!

I was looking for a pickup and found one at liberty auto sales that was almost exactly what I was looking for. I called and asked a lot of questions regarding condition and performance. Word was given to my by a salesman that it was in excellent condition besides a couple small dings and scratches on the tailgate. He also said it ran great with no mechanical issues. Well after driving 4 hours one way I immediately regretted it.. pulling into their lot I could see dents in both doors on one side, after a walk around almost every body panel had dents. The oil was very low and the pickup wouldn t start.. They were also very rude to me when I told them how unhappy I was. Regardless I wasted 8 hours total and was lied to about the condition and performance of this vehicle.

Update Feb 12th 2020:God bless Liberty Auto. If you need a vehicle Liberty Auto is the place to go. Just saying thank you is not enough to describe my appreciation to them.Went to Liberty Auto to look at a vehicle. I test drove it and it had a couple of issues. I talked to them about it. Went to a few other car dealers and went back to Liberty. The guys there had the issues checked and informed me of another issue. They told me if I still wanted the vehicle they would get the issues fixed. I bought the vehicle. Liberty Auto is very honest and good prices. I will definitely go back and see them when I need another vehicle.UPDATE: Shortly after getting the vehicle I took it in for an oil change. My mechanic informed me of more serious issues. I called Liberty and talked to them about it. Even though I bought it as is, they stood by their vehicle and we were able to reach an agreement on repairs. I would give them 10 stars if Google would let me.

Liberty was great! No pressure, very fair pricing, super friendly and helpful. I usually try to avoid dealers when purchasing cars, but I'm glad I made the trip to Merrill to look at a car on their lot. After buying the car, they were nice enough to help me return my rental car to Sioux City. I highly recommend Liberty!

We didn't have a car. We had money coming in and wanted to buy a car from Armando again, as we had in the past. We were having an issue getting the checks to the bank. Armando was gracious enough to bring g out the car I was buying and leave it so that I could get the money to the bank and come see him the next day to finalize the transaction. NOBODY else would have done this!!! I will always be grateful to Armando and Liberty Auto Sales.

A bought a vehicle here a few months ago and it has been nothing but problems. Leaking intake manifold gasket, blown head gasket, bad battery, the traction control system was disabled to hide the fact that it wasn't working properly. When i went to replace the gaskets i discovered they had already been replaced but they didn't tighten any of the head bolts and it was missing intake manifold and exhaust manifold bolts! I can't believe the vehicle even made the drive home. This is absolutely unacceptable, this place should not be in business.

GREAT people to work with. Had my eye on a vehicle on their lot for a little while, test drove it and happily left the lot with my cadillac escalade. Great family business, guys were upfront and honest with me and even worked on price a bit with me. Definitely recommend checking out their lot!

I drove close to 4 hours to look at a truck. The salesman told me over the phone that is was rust free. This truck had holes in the bed so big a person could fall through. There was also rust on cab. So I spent 8 hours total time and wasted a day of vacation. Please beware of this dealership!

We drove 2hrs to visit liberty and the drive was worth it! We found the perfect family vehicle we were searching for!...Great customer service, great car selection, great prices. These guys made it feel like we were buying a car from a close friend! Highly recommended!

Bought a 2014 ford fusion, been trying to get the hvac system fixed since we bought it no heat on passenger side, do your due diligence before purchasing here.

Doesn't matter if they're friendly. I purchased a vehicle from here and the next day the engine light came on along with two other warning lights. Will never go back or recommend them.

Travelled from Sioux City to Merrill to get a new car..Armondo was excellent..answered all questions very courteous and ending up leaving with TWO cars..thanks Mondo see u soon
