Charlie did a phenomenal job on my 07 Kawasaki Vulcan. When searching for a reputable shop to work on my Vulcan all I kept hearing was We only work on Harleys . I was debating just doing it myself but found Sovereign Powersports and called. I was expecting the same line of only Harleys but was pleasantly surprised that they worked on metrics as well. Charlie went out of his way with an initial long phone conversation about my Vulcan and what I needed completed. Needless to say, the list was long but Charlie was able to get everything taken care of and walked me though everything that he was going to perform. My Vulcan is running like a new bike now! Charlie s customer service and attention to detail are outstanding and clearly shows how passionate he is with his craft. I have found my motorcycle mechanic and will continue coming back to Sovereign Powersports for all of my needs. Thank you again Charlie!!!

Deserves more stars than are possible to give! Very responsive, quick, and knowledgeable.After being let down by McGrath, I called Sovereign for help, per recommendations. He started working on my motorcycle the same day, worked a weekend night on it, and even met me to exchange keys when they were closed on a Sunday, so that I could enjoy the first warm weather day of riding.Once I arrived to pick up the bike, I was pleased to see it in great condition it was even washed and cleaner than it was when I dropped it off.He got my motorcycle into good condition, quicker than other shops will even respond to your call.

I tried finding some place that would work on my son's moped, it was extremely difficult. Sovereign was more than capable of taking care of the issue and they helped us out. Owner was sick but communicated the delays. Exceeded expectations.

I needed to have both front CV axle shaft assemblies replaced on my Honda Rancher because of the boot tearing. I stopped by to order the new assemblies and received a call several days later saying they had arrived and scheduled an appointment for a couple of days later. The CV axle shafts were installed and ready to be picked up the next day. I am impressed with the new assemblies as they look to be well built with no boot to tear. The entire staff at Sovereign Powersports was very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Marion, IA.Update 5/12/23This guy stands behind his shop! Had an issue with the new rear tire (<100 miles on it), Charlie replaced immediately no problem. He stayed late to get me back on the road ASAP. 10-star shopUpdated 4/2023Another great experience. Charlie rebuilt the clutch, new tires, oils, new battery, Charlie built new baffles for my pipes (sounds awesome), and at 63k we changed out the drive belt. VERY REASONABLE RATES, the bike went in spotless and came out just as clean. Charlie is conscientious, personable, and runs a professional shop. If you re looking for where to take your Harley, give Charlie a try. He s honest, he knows his shop reputation depends on the quality of his work. He is honest, fair, and reliable. No reason to look any further he s the real deal. 10 STARS=============================== my guy was no longer available to work on my 2014 Ultra Limited. I found Charlie online, researched the reviews provided here (thank you contributors), then gave him a call. Charlie fit me in before our trip to the Black Hills. Charlie gave the bike a full inspection, giving me a heads up on items he found (had a concern about the clutch), and oil change. We rode to SD near the end of a hard ridding trip the clutch began to act up (turns out Charlie was right). Limped it home, Charlie fit it in again, flushed the hydraulic clutch upgrading to racing standard fluid, inspected the clutch plates and completed full fluid change. VERY REASONABLY PRICED easily saving me 60% or more from dealer costNot only is he a pro, but he s personable, conscientious, and runs a great shop. Needless to say I trust Charlie, we are lucky to have him in the area. If you haven t met him yet it s your loss.5 stars only because I can t go higher. QUALITY SHOP

Charlie did a great job on the tune up, brakes and carb repair for my old Yamaha. Other shops wouldn't handle it because it wasn't a Harley. He kept me in the loop on the progress and had it done and ready to go on time and on budget. Found my son racing bike taken apart when it was only in for a flush!!! Alot of the aftermarket parts where damaged or MISSING!! We had to do an engine rebuild after recovering it from this "shop" We didn't have consistent communication after about two weeks of Charlie having possession of my son bike. Went to the shop to just grab it when we found out what was really going on!Service: Brake service & repair

I had a quad that I wanted a plow put on but no one made a original equipment plow for. When they were done with it you would never know it from factory work. Charlie explained everything before he started and made it come out exceptionally well. Very satisfied and will return.

I've had my bike in twice, once for some hose replacement and once for a new front tire installation and both times Charlie was quick to respond, easy to work with and his prices are great. I highly recommend him!

Save your money for someone that knows what they're doing. I paid 400.00 for a carb rebuild only to have the carbs leaking gas 2 weeks later.
