Great people, great service, great prices! I travel from North Liberty to Marion even if I have to have my vehicle towed. ITS WELL WORTH IT! This family business needs to be pushed to the forefront of the auto repair business in Iowa. I use to go to a very popular Coralville auto shop who would literally fix everything but the problem at THOUSANDS of dollars a repair!!! Circumstances with a used car lot led me to Marion but I m SO GLAD they were there! The father and daughter team are TOP NOTCH! Very transparent with timing. Definitely check them out!

I have had a couple of car s repaired here and they are wonderful! They told me exactly what was going on with them and didn t do anything until I made the decision. I have been a customer since 2019 when I was referred to them by a customer of there's.He said they are competent and honest which is important to me since I know very little about cars.When I bring one of my cars to them they evaluate what's wrong with it then consult with me and offer options.They don't try to convince me what to do.For an older car they aren't going to recommend costly repairs just to make money. They do not try to upsell.And they stand by their work.If there happens to be an issue with the car that they feel would be better served elsewhere like an electrical issue they have no problem recommending having an outsider look at it and they help in the process.Steve, rod, and Brittany are an excellent team who would rather make a little less money and help people out vs trying to get top dollar like several car places.There have been several instances where due to my lack of knowledge on vehicles that they could have made recommendations to make money but they did not.They were honest and to me that's just as important as the quality work they do and by the way they cost a lot less than the big garages so it's a win win to go to this placeServices: Transmission, Auto brake repair, Brakes, Oil change

I was moving from Colorado to New York with my husband and our two children who are two years old nearly and a newborn. We ended up breaking down right at Illinois boarder. Drove the car with a bad throttle body for over 80 miles to get to them. They were able to help me and my family get safely back on the road. Honestly I wish this garage was in my home state in New York they were so kind and helpful. I literally was stranded in the middle of Iowa, and would have ended up leaving my car behind if they didn t help me get through this disaster. Previously we had the car fixed in Colorado but we still broke down . Thank you so much! I couldn t thank you guys enough and we were lucky enough to find you. If anyone is reading this, please don t hesitate to come here. They talk to you like you are a human and actually care about you. They also educate you and are super kind!

Brittany and Steve really helped me out these past few times that my mother and I have gone. With reliable pricing and ways of working with you for payments, I say that this place is really worth anyone's time. They dont bribe you for anything nor do they do things without you knowing. As a tow truck driver this place is absolutely amazing, easy to find a big lot to get around in, and the people were downright phenomenal, down to earth realists who actually care! Thank you for killing my dead time with conversation! That's a one in a million thing that doesn't happen anymore!!!!

Great mechanic shop, they will give you a straight answer without any excess bull added. Steve is very knowledgeable and understanding of most situations, will never hesitate to come to them with questions involving my vehicles.

Used used parts on my truck and said it was not the catalytic converters and fixed the problem engine light came right back on and it is the catalytic converters will never go there again or buy anything from carhop that that matter

Sign out front says 'Tire repair', but when I took a tire to be fixed, I was told they don't do tires, lol. Make it make sense!!
