Couldn't be happier with my first experience with this salvage yard. Kept me in the loop of any issue or direction before expected costs were exceeded. They even let took me out for a ride to look at the vehicle before purchasing. What really put me over was the effort that they put getting into getting the radiator support bracket assembly out for me. I had assumed it was one piece and would be easier to secure than it ended up being. They even gave me some the attachments on that bracket, so I feel like i made out like a bandit on the deal.Pre purchase, communication, cost, and pickup went really well. I hope i don't need to find any parts on my old camry, but glad I know a good source if I need some additionals (as long as they aren't the same part anyway). Hope you get in some more older styles like mine, I'm sure I'll need a few more pieces again one day.

I have taken things to Leon Recycling for years now and never had any problems until now. Today I took in an old vehicle. After dropping it off I parked the same plI always do and went in to get my check. I waited 45 minutes to get it without a complaint. When I finally got it as I was on my way out I was assaulted by an old man that I am told was Brent Buckingham. Yelling and cussing at me about where I had parked. If it was such a problem someone could have simply asked me to move it. I asked him not to cuss at me numerous times for him to only continue cussing at me at informing me that he wasn t cussing at me while he was cussing at me. Then as I turned to go on to my truck I noticed someone had backed into to my trailer busting out one of the taillights and damaging the mounting bracket. I mentioned it to the Falmouth old man. Only to then be assaulted by Kyle Norman and threatened with bodily injury if I didn t leave. As for me I will be taking all of my recycling to P&L in Weldon from now on and I would recommend that all of you do the same.

Great place to do business. Honest people good prices!! Bought a convertible top from out of state and was exactly as described! Thank you for your honesty and patience until I could pick it up.

They were Awesome here. I found everything I needed for my car for a reasonable price. And even though I'm in another state. It was still cheaper this way even with gas prices ridiculously high. I still saved $950 going here. They were Honest Folk's and I value that to the fullest. Honest people will always have my business. Thanks Leon Recycling for all your help

I spoke with Angie when I called asking for parts and prices. She said she would call back with a total price before ordering. She never called back. So I called today. She said she ordered the parts but had to call me back so she could go through her messages to find the total.... not sure what that means exactly but sounds like they need to get organized and call customers back like they say they will before ordering parts... we heard their parts are great and prices are as well that's why we decided to go here but their service sucks.!!

Fast service. Called for a part they would need to pull - hoped to have it pulled that week (fine by me). Called back later the same day to tell me it was ready to go. Pick up took me 3 minutes and back down the road. Outstanding.

Ordered a component for a vehicle. Shipping was relatively cheap for the size and weight of the item (truck bumper). Shipping was also very quick, however when it got here, there were defects/damage in the bumper that weren't listed. Called them and told them about it, and they went above and beyond to make it right. I would absolutely use them again. Highly recommend!

Was needing a wheel for my Mercedes, called Leon recycling and had spoken with Angie. She had a wheel that was exact match with my car, Angie ran me through all the scratches and dents that the wheel might have had. Angie went out of her way to send me pictures of the wheel to double make sure it was perfect before she delivered it via mail this far. Angie ended up saving me a lot of money compared to other wheels I had found. Would recommend and trust Leon recycling and auto parts.

Angie is AMAZING!!! I called today looking for a tire. Our daughter had to travel to Waukee with the grandkids today. Just one problem, she had cords showing on her front passenger tire. Angie didn't have the size we needed, but gave suggestions as to wear we might have luck. She told me to give there shop in Lamoni a call. Cody went and looked while Madison talked . Cody said he had one. YES!!!! My daughter pulled up, Cody had the door open, tire ready, watching for her Thank you SOOO much Leon Recycling for helping this Nana make sure the grandbabies made it safe!

Here is another hidden secret if Iowa. I found my Mazda engine here. I have living around here for the past six years and only discovered this Auto Parts Yard because a friend asked me to escort him since I knew the town better than him. I was in for a big surprise. It's a very busy place.

I spent weeks separating coppers, aluminums and other salvage items loaded it onto a trailor and drove 45 miles to leon recycling. As i got down the road i noticed the small amount of money on theur printed check and carbon copy reciept. I was given dirty copper prices for all and no credit for the cleaned. When i called back there to ask why i was shorted he acted as if it were no big deal considering it were only a 10 dollar difference. And if i wanted to drive back 45 miles one way to leon recycling he would compensate me. I explained that it would cost me 10 dollars in gas to even drive back there and to keep it. The man was extremely rude and inconsiderate of my feelings. Bad business. Ill never go back

This place is a joke. Had to wait 4 hours for them to pull a part that took me 15 minutes on my car just to drive a hour home and the part is going bad. Rude service. Over priced . Definitely will not recommend to anyone to go here

The lady who awensers the phone and tries to get you parts should definitely go apply at orileys because if you can't tell the difference in a 2500 vs a 1500 and keep asking if its a 6lug you should highly quit and find a new career

Well I had a friend that needed a battery for there auto and LR sold me a good used battery for 25 dollars with old battery trade in. It's still starting my friends car.

They think they can gang up on people. I am sorry but when you run a business you can't be hitting you customers . I am sorry if you do business with them you might want to take it some were different .
