We moved to this area two years ago and left behind an honest and excellent mechanic. However, T&A Auto has already filled his shoes! We have taken three vehicles to T&A, two of which are aging badly. T&A has done the work they needed quickly, affordably, correctly, and above all, honestly. I originally went to different place in Keokuk, where they told me I needed new shocks and new tires. Then I took it to T&A for an oil change and a second opinion, and he actually showed me why neither of those repair were needed yet. (He even apologized on behalf of the other mechanics who tried to upsell me unnecessarily. ) You can bet when we do need the work done, we will continue to take our cars to T&A. He is efficient, hard working and honest.

I highly recommend T.A Auto. Tracy is a great no BS kind of guy, he will explain everything in detail on what he s doing. Called today mid morning to see about getting a used tire, he was able to fit me in a couple hour later for a good price. Only took 15 mins and I was on my way. * Summary: highly recommend - quick, excellent service, great price.Woke up this morning in Keokuk, IA with a flat tire and hundreds of miles ahead of me. Was honestly in a bind and feeling desperate. Called Goodyear but they wouldn't see us on an emergency basis. Tracy got us in immediately, 8am, and repaired our tire while we ate breakfast. Reinstalled the tire, added air to the spare, and had us on the road within 25 minutes of showing up at the shop. Perhaps it was nothing to him, but it was a real blessing to my wife, my three girls, and me.8+ hours and 500 miles later, I'm going to sleep East of Memphis and can attest that the repair was properly done.I can't imagine I'll ever have the pleasure of giving my business to Tracy again, but I would if I could. The drive from North Carolina just makes it a bit too inefficient. Thanks, Tracy. I recommend this business to anyone in the Keokuk area.

I ve never had such better service than T.A. Auto and Tires! I desperately needed tires and accepted the fact of almost buying expensive tires. Until my boyfriend told me of this place and I m so glad I listened. Tracy was not just quick at his job but he also educates as well. I really appreciate having someone thoroughly explaining the issue instead of just fixing it. I highly recommend!Service: Tires

A#1 service!!!! I needed a couple used tires-and got top notch service on so much more!!! i had service lights on that he checked for me and educated me on and he helped me with a dead battery that i wasn t prepared for!!! I've went to Tracy several times over the last..14 years. When I had my first car at 17 he fixed a couple control arms for me. I'm not sure if the price was fair or not since I knew pretty much nothing about cars and it's been so long ago. He's always been quick to get tires and they seem to be a good quality, and definitely great price. I was a bit annoyed the last time I went in and I left him a bad review and now for some reason I can't change it. He probably thought I was nuts for even asking him to look for a rattle since the whole front end had been replaced. It would have been difficult to find the rattling noise anyway because it was the brake caliper. There was one time he wasn't able to get the tires in a timely manner but it wasn't his fault. The truck delivering them broke down. I'll give him five stars for his tire service though.Service: Tires

I thought $120 to mount and balance 4 tires i brought in was steep. I took my old ones with me. He asked about having my old ones but "they weren't worth anything to him". I asked about a rattling on passenger side when we talked on the phone, also mentioned it like 6 times while I was there and there was no effort to look. It's cool man, I won't be back. Good thing he has a good employee.Service: Tires

I was able to get new tires at a reasonable price here. The owner, is very knowledgeable and honest. They did a great job and are two of the nicest guys you'll meet. If you're looking for honest, quality work at reasonable prices this is the place to go.

We were traveling through town and had some serious tire problems. They were super busy but took care of us right away and got us back on the road in less than an hour. Super professional and an extremely fair price. I cannot possibility recommend them highly enough.

The 2 Gentleman that run this shop are great. They saved me in a bind a few months back when I had 2 tires in the back that went bad. They got me right in and hooked me up with tires and got me out quickly. Today I am back for 2 front tires and they are still super kind and nice. I really recommend T.A. Auto & Tires.

T.A. and his crew are very kind and have great deals! My brother come in on a donut in desperate need of a emergency replacement and his other tire was in bad condition. We are not from here . We are trying to get home to STL. And the trip has already been full of stressful and pricey set backs. His prices were very fair. He was very friendly as was the guy working with him. Thanks for y'alls kindness and laughter It was really needed. When I visit the Hollors I'll wretch fur dat 'moon' and 'shine' for ya T.A. ...now we fixen' to head on yonder

They got my van up and going again. This shop is the only place I plan to use for all mechanic work on my vehicles. Rates are fair and they really go out of their way to ensure you have a pisitive experience when dealing with aggravating car issues.

I was in a jam with two flat tires, the guys at the shop had some used tires I could use to get me home. From the moment I called to the moment the tires were replaced was about 45 minutes. I am very thankful that we found their phone number. The price was right and so was the service.

These guys are unbelievable. I was just passing through Keokuk one late afternoon when I experienced a significant mechanical problem that was certain to leave me stranded in a strange place, likely overnight. The two mechanics at T.A. Auto & Tire were busy with lots of other work but stopped the world for me, got the necessary parts by special delivery from across town, fixed the problem and got me back on the road in record time -- all for a really reasonable cost. They didn't have to do this because, let's face it, the odds of me becoming a repeat customer are virtually zero. Nevertheless, they treated me like I was someone special instead of a desperate, stranded traveler who could be gouged. Trust me, you will not regret taking your vehicle to this top-notch, highly skilled and professional shop. I can guarantee they will make you feel special too and, more importantly, get the job done right without breaking the bank. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I got great service. They even came to me when I had two flats.... So I couldn't get to them. I got good tires for a very fair price. My daughter also went to them and got hard to find tires. These guys try hard.

A friend of mine bought a car from them. She wondered why she had gone through so much gas. I smelled a strong gas odor. Upon inspection, we could see gas streaming out of her car. I videotaped it and took pictures. We followed her out to the dealership. He charged her $75 to fix a line that was broke. Just wrong.

Great guys! I had a flat on HWY 61 and couldn't get it to town. They came out and aired it up so I wouldn't ruin my tire. Got me fixed up and didn't charge an arm and a leg. Very nice!!

Excellent service, went in to have an issue fixed that another shop couldn't fix. If you want to go somewhere and get honest answers and some of the best service on your vehicle available in the tri-states I would highly recommend these guys.
