Almost 6 months later and I am still dealing with lawyers and insurance companies trying to right this wrong. Dealing with Kalona Auto has been the worst business dealing of my entire life. They "repaired" my timing chain. They did compression checks before starting the repair and they said everything was great. While repairing the timing chain they advised to change the water pump. I approved the water pump. I paid over $2000 over the phone. I picked it up at night and noticed it had a loud ticking noise. 40 miles down the road the engine quit. They towed it back and said the valve fell into the piston and ruined the engine. It would cost me $7000-$10000 to replace the engine! They said when they repaired it they noticed the ticking noise and forgot to tell me about it, but assumed it was there before they replaced the timing chain. It was not. All they offered was to move the new parts from my broken engine to the new engine at no charge, but for the engine I would pay $7000+. Now they have left me with a broken vehicle, I have to tow it away and take them to court to resolve this. I would not take any vehicles to this shop. They do not stand behind their work.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

My husband and I were driving through Kalona and after stopping for a break, we came out and found our vehicle wouldn't start. We called Kalona Auto and they came right over and got us running again at a cost that was much lower than we expected. Thank you so much!Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

Totally cared about my daughter's serious issues with her car:braking, all wheel drive problems , electrical problems. Provided high quality service way beyond expected service. Even provided loaner and then dropped off her car and picked up loaner an hour away from Kalona.. Best service she's ever had. My. Daughter's a health care worker. Didn't have any free time to deal with problems. They stepped in and took care of everything.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Brake service & repair
