O'Reilly's counter man determined my newer car's battery was bad, but suggested I go to the dealership to learn if there was some warranty or pro-rated discount for a replacement. I appreciate his wanting to do the best for me! Turns out, O'Reilly's battery has a much greater cold cranking power than the dealership's, and a warranty that is a year longer. Their price was better also. And then I remembered they have a military discount! Purchased at O'Reilly's of course. Thank you!

Sam (who works Saturday s) was an an absolute delight. He helped us so much with all of our car needs. Unfortunately, the other employees were rude and even gave Sam rude looks. I would be happy to talk about which employees I was least impressed with with a manager.

Staff was very helpful. I needed a new battery, and for my vehicle's make and model, there were lots of variations. They went out to measure the old battery to make sure I got the correct one.Awesome service!

Very cold employees, extremely limited in the interaction with my gas cap issue. Other patrons were treated differently though which is why they get a one star. Have been going there for years. Not any more.

There customer service is not very good when I waited in line to have them test my battery to have the cashier tell me they wanted to help someone else behind me when I was patiently standing in line waiting my own turn I will not be returning to the iowa city store I will go to one of the other properties over this store very poor customer service. The manager on duty when I called back in to tell him how I was treated is why I'm changing my one star review to a 3 star because he apologized to me for how I was treated.

Love the employees here! They are super helpful and friendly!! I needed advice about my car and they helped me out! I got stuff that I needed. I recommend you all to get your stuff here! Trust worthy knowledgeable people

Purchased a battery and had it installed at no extra charge. The sales associate was very helpful and honest when helping us choose which one to buy. It was a quick and easy shopping experience with excellent customer service!

This place is great. Ryan, one of the employees at O'reillys, was extremely helpful installing a new battery (he basically did it all for us). He was kind and answered all our questions. It was freezing cold out tonight, and he did not hesitate to get outside and help. Keep up the great work Ryan :) And thank you again for all you do!

These fellas came to the rescue when we lost the drivers side wiper blade while exiting I-80 with snow & rain conditions. These young boys were VERY helpful and extremely kind. We really appreciate them & hope that their boss recognizes that he hasawesome employees. Good help is hard to find! Nice job fellas!!

Not the first time these guys have saved my bacon! They replaced the battery in my van last winter and we're extremely helpful and professional. When my battery died today, I got a jump and went right over. I was worried they wouldn't be able to help me because they were closing in less than an hour. Mike and the other fellow whose name I can't remember got my new battery installed incredibly fast and did a wonderful job. Super nice guys. I will absolutely be coming back for anything I might need. Thank you for being amazing!

NEVER a bad experience when dealing with Shane, always helpful , very knowledgeable, and almost always goes above an beyond for the customers. It is extremely hard to find someone whos that knowledgeable AND enjoys helping customers day in and day out GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE !!!!!

O'Reilly's always has quality inexpensive parts. Their staff is very helpful or at least tries to be. The store is clean they do a good job. Disappointed in how many parts they have to order all the time

This is my "mall". When other women would find a shoe store, I'm at O'Reillys for a lot longer than I need to be. I nearly always find what I need and the guys and gals that work here in Iowa City, in Boone, and in Atlantic, IA are very helpful

Great people at the Iowa City location.Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional.Special thanks to John, the Assistant store manager. Always a pleasure to see him and chat about old school wrestlers, hope he's with O'Reillys for a long time!I highly recommend and will always return.

This store used to be great and helpful; not anymore. Went to get my dash errors checked and they just handed us the machine to do it ourselves (?) When I asked the clerk for a manual or some direction he shrugged like it s so easy to work. Then he blamed covid for not helping me; but he wasn t wearing a mask. Also, I was there a few weeks ago with a different vehicle and they helped me I think it s just Noah who has the problem. Good job Noah! Chase all the customers away so you can just sit and play on your phone. Great employment tactic! I went to Advanced Auto Parts instead, much better service

Came in to get brake light bulbs, stood around several minutes waiting to get helped, along with several other customers, finally an absolute lazy disinterested kid came from the back, we had to look up our own bulbs, needed something else and he didn't seem interested in helping us. Too many auto parts store for this, can only assume very poor management. Do better IC O'Reilly.

I showed up near close with a dead battery from my other car, and Mike was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. He checked the voltage output, and gave me my options to take care of my situation there, and he got me out of there in very short time. Will only go to O Reilly from now on for car parts.

A lot of car parts and accessories. Front desk are friendly. My friend and I went to get a paint pen for his CX-5, but they didn't have it.-Update: I didn't recommend buying your car freshener from there.

I would give this store a zero for a rating. The customer service from the manager is pure garbage. If you re looking for parts just shop online or find another store. The service in the Iowa city store lacks everything In the statement of customer service. If someone is that miserable maybe it s time to choose a different career choice. When someone walks in and asks for parts questions and you seem irritated to even help, that is a problem. Thanks

I went in Saturday just to get new wiper blades and have my check engine light coded. I waited almost 30 minutes ready to check out with no service. I went across the street to AutoZone and was in and out in under 10 minutes.I am not blaming the hardworking folks who were there, but I think it is ridiculous to only staff two people on a Saturday.Long story short: hire more people!

I called in today for some advice on my car, such as a local shop to take my car to because I was new in town. They recommended a shop to me and saved me over $1,000 in parts alone compared to a shop I went to a while ago. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family, will constantly return to this shop.

It took me 4 or 5 trips back and forth to this store to finally get the right part. They store is getting an excellent rating because Mike helped me to figure out why I was getting the wrong part. I was asking for the wrong thing and Mike was very patient in asking additional questions to help me figure out what I really needed. During a previous visit Mike even located the head light I needed at a competitors store so I could have it that same day. Thanks for going above and beyond for your customers!

This place or this location great customer service his name Ryan I couldn't get home without his help especially every other auto part can't help and all auto shop were close I'm not from that city I'm from St.Paul MN. He found me the parts and he also install it too.Thanks to Ryan me and my family we were home safe

This store has been on a steady slow decline. The prices keep increasing while the employees keep decreasing. Some of the employees will barely assist you and let you know your inconvenienceing them.
