I had some crazy Eletrical issues with my car and they fixed it and made sure it was fixed. Gave me a shuttle ride back and we re overall very communicative and helpful. And they left candy instead of tools in my car (Midas).

As others have posted in reviews previously, I too was turned away from this dealership because of their refusal to let me take a used vehicle (with a check engine light on, and a broken latch that prevented raising the hood, no less) for inspection by my mechanic, 10 miles away. I got the same line as others - "your mechanic can come here to look at it!" - which I've never heard from any other dealership. Defend it all you like, but all that policy does is drive potential buyers away. Trustworthy dealers with nothing to hide don't operate this way. The guys I talked with (Cody & Juan) were pleasant, but that's all I can say for this place.

Rush, rude, and unprofessional.My wife and I came in around 4pm in Saturday just to shop for a family car. As we walked to the door, we saw the sign saying that they will be closing at 4 for their annual Christmas party (understandable). Nico (the salesman) welcomed me, so I asked if it is ok for us to look at one of the cars that they have in the parking lot, or we can come back Monday for it (we were in no rush buying it at all to be honest). Nico told me it was ok then he shown us the car we wanted to look at and we decided to buy it. Problem started here when Colby (the sales manager) came in to talk to us.He came in with no smile and talked to us like he was our boss. He even yelled at us when we were told that our paperwork was done, and we can leave.I think as a sales manager, he would handle it better.The only reason we still decided to buy the car was that Nico was very nice and it was his first sell in the career path, and we wanted to make it easy for him.In the end, we wanted to thank Nico and the team members who helped us getting the car!!

Purchased a used vehicle from sales rep Colton (who was phenomenal) that had immediate engine issues off the lot. Deery honored their used car extended warranty and replaced the engine at no cost to me! I have to say this was unexpected and a huge win in terms of restoring my trust in dealerships. I was given a loaner for the entirety of the repair so only cost to me was time which I luckily had plenty of. While the service dept was friendly and ultimately got the job done correctly, communication was lacking and for this I had to dock a star. I would recommend this dealership for purchasing a used car.

Patrick Gollhofer was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable about the trucks he had available and provided other options that were not even at the Deery dealership to help me get what I wanted. Patrick was also shared great and honest feedback about other competitor options as well. I would highly recommend Patrick at Deery Brothers in Iowa City.

The service was absolutely terrible. I took my van in for an electrical issue, bad blinker bulb and a check engine light. This is a company van and I really need it for work I expressed this to them when I dropped it off. I didn t hear back from them for 3 days when i finally had to call to see the status of the car. They told me that it d be another day before they could actually get to my van. 2 more days go by and I still hadn t heard from them about what was wrong with my van I had called again and they still hadn t gotten to my van. After another two days they finally called me about my van it was over 1500 to fix everything I needed to on my van. When I got my van back they didn t put our company gps back in that plugs into the service reader recover. They also never replaced the bulb in the blinker, the initial thing I had brought my van in for.I understand that car parts and labor are expensive but the communication and poor planning to schedule service on my van are unacceptable on top of the fact that they didn t put everything back to it s original state and they didn t fix everything. Just won t ever buy from this place or take my van back here. A simple phone call goes a long way

This used car sales business does not allow customers to have independent mechanics inspect the vehicle before purchase. I keep being told that I can bring my mechanic to their lot. I doubt my mechanic is going to leave his shop to drive across town for a $60 inspection. Will they let him use their hoist and tools? Why not allow customers to have as much information as possible? Seems sketchy.

Recently purchased a used vehicle from Deery Brothers Dodge Ram Chrysler. Al Baker was my salesmen. Al was very respectful, upfront and honest. This was particularly helpful as I was driving in from out of state to purchase the car. Al made a video of the car inside and out and took all my questions. I would buy again from AL Baker and Deery Brothers. If I had a recommendation, it would be to fill the car up with a full tank of gas. Store policy prevents that. And that's knit picking on my end. Thank you guys again! Love the car!

My son and I were heading back from school from South Bend, IN to Denver, CO when his Jeep Wrangler began having engine issues. We took the Jeep into Deery Brothers Jeep and worked with Trent who was able to get his team to diagnose and fix the issue (fuel injection system) all within about 5 hours, saving us a ton of time and money by not being stranded for days. The rest of the 12 hour drive home was smooth sailing thanks to Trent and the Deery Brothers Jeep team.

I can't say enough good about Al Baker at Deery. Extremely nice and personable the entire time. Especially through some difficulty with banks during superbowl weekend! Love the truck, loved the experience. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Easy crew to deal with, from Sales to the Shop. When you drive a Dodge, there s a good chance you ll be having it worked on pretty often, so it s nice to have a Service Center that you can trust. Even in the rare case that something does get messed up, you know they ll do what they can to fix it. Never have a second thought when dropping off with Alex & Steve or wheeling and dealing with Colton.

I went yesterday to look at a Ram. I was told I needed to take a sales person with me because they owner was there and they needed to do things by the book. When they wanted to look at my truck the sales guy and manager took my truck for a ride without my knowledge or consent. I met them at the door when I saw them pull up and asked them if they took my truck for a ride. The manager kind of laughed as he walked by and said yeah, we took it around the building. He then comes back and offers me a laughable amount for my truck and argues with me that my truck needs lots of work on the front end because of a noise I think I heard. This was the most unprofessional interaction I ve ever had at any dealership in any state I have ever purchased a vehicle. I wouldn t recommend this dealership to anyone that is serious about getting a new vehicle at all.

I bought a 2015 Jeep Cherokee brand new (From this dealership) and have nothing but problems with the transmission. A year after I bought it, I made an appointment at Deery for what felt like the car trying to rip it's own transmission out.This all happens randomly so I had to drive around with a Tech trying to get the car to do it. Luckily I was able to replicate it and they replaced the transmission.Now after the new transmission and all the recalls installed the transmission will randomly stick in the gear it is in. Again this happens randomly, while driving down the highway the "Service Transmission" light will come on and it is stuck in that gear. You have to disconnect the battery to restore proper behavior.I called up Deery because this happened while two tractor trailers were along side of me and one behind me on the highway. The one behind me practically ran through me because I could not accelerate with the car not dropping down in gears. I had my hazards on but at that point he was so close he couldn't see them.Every time I call Deery its like they have zero history on my car and have no clue what I am talking about. This last time I even left a voicemail for the General manager, its been 3 weeks and still no call back.If they had even looked at the history they would see I have had this problem for the whole time I owned the car. But I am guessing about 1/4 of what I say when I come is is actually heard and written down.The online scheduling is terrible, I put notes in the last time I scheduled and when I got there they had zero clue why I was even there. What was the point of me typing up everything?

Just bought a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta yesterday first time I ever drove one iam impressed 135k miles it has a ton of life left in it im Gona take it to the Volkswagen dealership for my service needs cause it want it maintained properly but I digress the salesman I had named Brad he was very passionate very helpful hard working to get me into a reliable vehicle to get me from point a to point b the Finance manager was awsome as well I also got ice cold water on a hot day I'm definitely Gona buy a ram 1500 in a couple of years wants I rebuild my credit I have some things to take care of but I highly recommend this dealership and not others Please come to. This one they will work hard to get u approved or help u find something for cash out right great selection of vehicles I can't wait to get. A RAM!!!!!!!

The car rockers and suspension is rusty, the rims are corroded,and the armrest cloth is separated, passenger mirror back cover and hood pull are missing on the 2008 Prius . Pictures do not show all the problems.

Had an issue with a seat belt while putting a carseat into my new Ram truck, called to ask to make sure the seat belt was supposed to lock when pulled out. I was told yes, so I scheduled an appointment for the soonest (3 weeks) to get it fixed. Instead of ordering parts for it, they tried to reset it, but couldn t make it work so I had to reschedule to come again once they had parts. I was disappointed that parts weren t ordered originally and would have to wait another week and a half for parts/rescheduled. At the second appointment, they installed the part and called to tell me it was fixed, I showed up and tested the seat belt and couldn t get it to lock like the other seats. I spoke with the service adviser and he tested another truck to make sure that particular seat would lock, and he said it did and mine should. I also had asked them not wash my truck since I only hand wash it, that request was ignored and they washed it anyway. They ordered a new part and got my truck back in for service a week later. I left it all day, and got dropped off after work, they told me that the seat belt in question actually isn t supposed lock when pulled all the way out. No phone call about it to say anything about the issue or that it was even done. They also left my seat covers in disarray when they returned it (pieces not put back fully, some pieces not even re-attached). So I spent 3 trips to the dealership and several hours waiting for it to get fixed when they could have just told me that it doesn t lock in that manner and I could have just bought a $5 locking clip. Overall, they made the experience terribly inconvenient.

If I could give no stars I would. Took my 2019 ram 3500 in. The radio was cutting on and off on its on. The dealer stated it was the screen after having the service rep assure me the screen replacement would fix the the problem I had it replaced for $1200. Picked up the truck and barely got a mile down the road the issue was not fixed. Returned to the shop the tech stated I could bring it back and pay another diagnostic fee for them to find the problem. I never went back. I took it to another dealer turns out it was the radio itself a $600 fix. They are parts swappers who do not stand behind their work even when they are wrong. I will never go back. Also getting your advisor on the phone is pretty much an act of Congress. Stay far away they do not know what they are doing and will charge you to swap part s until it hopefully fixes the issue.

Deery will definitely take care of you the right way. We purchased a new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica from them back in late 2016. The buying experience was great. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that over the past few years, we had two instances of very poor workmanship with their repair shop. But, in both cases they owned up to the mistake and really treated us well (Brent, their service manager, is terrific). After the second failed repair, we were ready to buy a new vehicle of a different brand. Because of all the repair troubles, Nathan, their general manager, agreed to purchase the vehicle from us at a price that was very fair. It was definitely more than I would have gotten in trade at the other dealership where we bought our new vehicle. Overall, I would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from Deery. They take care of you!

We had the best car buying experience ever. No pressure. Scooter answered all of our questions and they helped with financing. We had to special order our car from Dodge and it came sooner than we expected. Super happy with our experience!
