My husband and I recently purchased our first Audi Q5 and our rep Ryan Wyant was the best! Came in at the end of the day on a Saturday and he and the financing staff stayed until we got everything squared away how we wanted it. Ryan was extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with.

My husband and I just recently bought a car from Carousel. Our rep was Sage. This experience has been the best car buying experience I have ever had. Sage was absolutely wonderful to work with, answered all of our questions, was patience and not once was he a "pushy car rep". My previous experiences made me hate buying cars but now that we found Sage at Carousel, he eliminated my anxiety and actually made it a fun experience. I highly recommend Carousel and Sage for your next car buying experience. Amazing place!!!

I didn't have an appointment but stopped in to ask for help to fix my low tire. The technician found a nail in my tire and was able to repair it on the spot. I'm enormously grateful for their timely care. Carousel Motors has always been my go-to people, and they never disappoint.

Bought, what was advertised, as certified, car. When I was into the deal he said someone was on the computer and he couldn t get to it forThe certification. We continued talks and then he said oh, there s a recall and there s no fixing it and we can t certify it. So you don t get your year warranty. It was very much bait and switch. BTW, still listed as certified on their website. I asked if I could go to another dealership to get the part and have it be certified. He said no. Wow! For a high end establishment it was no better than a fly by night dealership. All that was missing was polyester suits and a bad comb over.Update:They did reach out to me and the manager said he read my review and said he wouldJust buy the car back sinceI was so unhappy with their service. He told me that sometimes cars on their lot get recalls and they can t certify, even though the car was posted as certified on their website. He stated this was not bait and switch. But if you re advertising one thing and when your customers show up and it s not true then to me, that s not being forthcoming. Which is confusing to the customer.Basically it was a call from the used sales manager puffing his chest to let me know they think I was harsh when Ionly stated what I experienced with Carousel. After scolding me for the review he transferred me to the sales person.The salesperson doesn t set the rules, so none of this was his fault. I have nothing bad to say about him. The one bright side was Sharif, the finance manager. He was nothing but helpful and very professional. He really does an exceptional job. Others should take a page from his book at that dealership.

I m leaving this review because I genuinely thought this dealership was fair on their trade in value and pricing. Few days ago purchased a Nissan Maxima from Justin Batzkiel in the used car department. Professional and personable. Made things super easy just like TJ did in the finance department. I ve bought a few vehicles over the last 10-15 years from all different places (four or five from one other place), but I ll definitely be checking here next time as well. Hard to beat. Thanks guys.

We recently leased a 2024 GLE 350 SUV car from Carousel. They have found a great car with the options we really wanted from an other place and even provided free delivery for it. Ben (sales man) and Sharif (finance manager) have tried to provide us with the best and most suitable deal, and we were able to receive discounts from them. And after signing the contract, Ben kindly explained how to use the new car. This experience helped me get the best car at a good deal. I highly recommend them for next car buying experience.

First time dealing with this dealership. The salesman Nathan, was very informative and showed us multiple options of cars to help us decide the direction best suited for our needs. He was never pushy, or not wanting to work with us. The finance part and dealing with his boss was extremely easy and they cared to about what are wants were.

I greatly appreciate the approachable 'with any question' and friendly environment I have always received with Carousel Motors Service Dept. My experiences with Brown, Mike and Allen have all been met with gestures of helping me to understand 'function and purpose' with my vehicle 'computer pop ups' ;-) with my car. My most recent experience with Miles (driver to nearby coffee shop) brought to my awareness that I want to share 'kudos' with the Carousel Culture from the 'top down' - the more we talked about his education, future career, he is very grateful for his 'employer' that works with his studies schedule, the distance he has to travel to get to work if weather is problematic, etc. The young man will go far with his 'being of service as a future Firefighter' heart that is well heard and seen upon opening a conversation with him. All the young 'techs' I have met during each 'drop off' have been very friendly, kind...Miles stands out. A keeper and kind heart. Thank you Carousel Team for employing the 'youth' that will make a difference in our world with their chosen path and you being a part of their 'healthy' work experience.

Trade in and purchase went good Never received worst customer service and follow thru after! Within first 30d things started falling apart on this 3 year old vehicle! Had to have hood adjusted due to this car being in some accident not reported. When the hood was opened it was rubbing paint off the body of the car, front end and rear door had been replaced among other parts. Ac didn t work, bought in the winter, found that out about 60d in. Rim had a complete crack and the air was a slow leak(the sensor was placed over the crack which held out for a while with the leak) had to be replaced. Alternator was next and then 2 components in the radio cd player and back up camera needed replaced. All within 90days, been in a shop(never theirs) 6 times all at my expense. I called to check on my warranty and coverage and when explaining my issues to the warranty dept, they suggested I speak to the man in charge who says well sounds like you have things covered and hung up on me! I still have yet to receive floor mats that my salesman was ordering the following day to be delivered to my house No accountability compassion or cares!10 out of 10 do not recommend!

Carousel sold me a brand new VW with "known issues" that cause some features not to work, which means I have to use a vacation day to take it in to be looked at and potentially a second vacation day to repair. Regret this purchase. Do. Not. Recommend.

Be aware,I bought a 2017 jetta from this dealership in 2018, they showed me a clean car fax report, no issues.Fast forward to 2024, went to trade this car in for something else figuring id get a good deal due to it having low miles and found out they marked my jetta as a lemon on carfax after i bought it from them so now i cant trade it in for anything else.

We purchased a Durango from Carousel after hitting a deer. I rushed the sale because I needed a vehicle fast. After 2 weeks, I was regretting my purchase and I didn't like the feel of the Durango. My salesman was no longer there so I spoke with the sales manager Chris. I explained how I was regretting purchasing that and honestly didn't expect them to do anything. HOWEVER, Chris was absolutely understanding and was willing to take the Durango back and work with us to find a vehicle I wanted. We spent the entire day there today. Not once did Chris push us off to an actual sales guy. He answered all of our questions and stood outside with us in negative weather until we found the one. Chris was an amazing individual today and I cannot thank him enough for listening to my wants and needs and helping us pick our family vehicle!

I purchase a lot of vehicles nationwide and this was by far the best experience ever thanks to Ryan Wyant at Mercedes. I was an out of state buyer and everything was handled over the phone with the highest carrying and professionalism by Ryan. I had requested the windshield wipers be replaced when the vehicle was dropped off. This was not done until I asked if it has been done at check out. The dealership offers a complementary car wash as a benefit of having it serviced at their dealership. The last two times I've had the vehicle in for service no car wash was done, with no explanation. Dissatisfied to say the least. How do I know they did the other services they claim was done? Service personnel change the settings of the seat and fail to put them back in the original position. They also change the digital settings of the dashboard and don't return them to the original settings I had them on. This last trip in for service they even turned off the cruise control and didn't turn it back on. These may seem trivial but to a vehicle owner it IS an inconvenience!

The service department is reliably excellent. On this most recent visit the intake manifold need replacing (it was still on warranty! woohoo!) and while the technician was working on that he noticed that the cylinders needed cleaning which can only be done with the intake manifold removed. He spoke to his manager who contacted me about it. If I had waited to have the cylinders cleaned later, it would have been much more costly because the technician would have to remove the intake manifold again. So many thanks for the technician for taking the initiative which saved me money in the long run.

I had been searching for months for a new 2022/2023 VW Jetta GLI Autobahn. My son was also searching for the same and told me there may be one at Carousel Motors in Iowa City. I called and talked with Yuchen W. and he said a 2023 GLI, Kings Red in color, was in transit to the dealership and should arrive in approximately six weeks. I explained we were out of state and asked if the vehicle could be sold to us. Yuchen said, "yes, we sell many cars to customers out of state". I put a $1k deposit for the vehicle. We decided my son would purchase this vehicle and I would purchase another I had located in Indiana. My son arranged for financing through his local Credit Union----the CU and Carousel Motors worked everything out over the phone. When the new 2023 GLI arrived at the dealership, in less than four weeks, Yuchen notified us. We arranged a time to pick up the vehicle, arrived at the dealership and Yuchen thoroughly explained features of the vehicle, etc. Met with the finance person and paperwork was finalized in less than twenty minutes, no surprises whatsoever, yay!This was one of the easiest and most pleasant car buying experiences I have had in nearly forty years, especially with the complication of being out of state, CU financing and buying a vehicle sight-unseen. A special shout-out to Yuchen W. who was wonderful to work with, very articulate, well informed and pleasant and a good communicator!! I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle at Carousel Motors in Iowa City, working with Yuchen!Thank you Yuchen!!!PS: the Big Grove Brewery recommendation was excellent!

Tried to trade in my Audi Q7 that I purchased 2 years 9 mos ago for 32k from carousel. Just flipped to 100k miles but vehicle is beautiful. Took to 2 other dealerships and they offered me 17,500 and 20k. Carousel only offered 14k and would not budge on the price of a Camry I was looking at. Was priced only 4 thousand below what a new one would cost. I don't know why they didn't want to sell me a car on Saturday, but it was an awful experience. Maybe they wanted out of there because the Hawkeye football game was going to be on soon?

It's been about a month since I've spoken with them about the broken passenger visor on my 2016 Honda civic. Mind you I paid about 3 to 5 grand more than asking price. I would figure a car with 58,000 miles on it and 20,000 dollars it would be perfect. The middle console handle was hard to open upon getting the car however it was everything I wanted from the color to the sunroof... so I looked past it. It broke 3 days later I sent a message and they wouldn't fix it because it supposibly wasn't broken when I got the car. However it looks like it was super glued at one point. The same with the visor they wouldn't fix it because it wasn't broken when I got it.. but it fell out the day I drove it home I thought it just needed to be clicked back in place but after seeing the mechanic they said I need a whole new one..and that it looked like someone ripped it out really hard at one point. I'm upset cause I after looking into a price it'll be over a 100 dollars for a visor. They knew what they sold me and rufuse to help out three months later after over charging me . Wanted to like them but here I am leaving a review. Ohhh and the back seat was all stained but was wet when I got it and they wanted me to drive back 2 and half hours to re clean it... knowing they can easily call a honda place closer to me and have me taken care of on the seats and the visor and middle console. Next review I leave is at the BBB. Edit. Its December and I already need 4 new tires. Can't even get a patch at walmart cause they are that bad. Cooooolll

I went there for an oil change and to get some repairs done. The repairs were minor things that pop up when you buy a new car. I expected to be there for a few hours. I was in and out in about an hour. The service gentlemen were courteous and professional. I also appreciated that the salesperson who sold me the car (Jason) stopped by to check I was being taken care of. Normally I don't go to car dealerships for oil changes. I may reconsider that.

Drove to my small hometown in Iowa from Tulsa, OK for a visit. The day after I arrived, the brake warning message came on in my Mercedes GLE 350. I was heading to Iowa City in a few days for a wedding, so I called Carosel to see if they could at least check my brakes before I drove 500 miles back to Okalahoma. The gal on the phone said they had no appointments available for approx. 10 days. I had spoke with Craig in the Service Dept. earlier in the day, and he told me to "run it in" and they could at least look and tell me if it was safe to drive back to Oklahoma before getting new brakes. I arrived in Iowa City on a Thursday morning, dropped my car off and talked to Craig. At that time he told me if my car DID need brakes, they would squeeze me in. He said "We won't let you make a 500 mile trip with no brakes!" Long story short...my car needed front brakes. They squeezed me in, but had to keep my car for 2 nights. I asked about a loaner car since I had to pick up my husband at the Cedar Rapids airport the following evening. Craig put me in a loaner car the following day. They truly went out of their way to help me. They fit me in when their schedule was already full so that I would not have to make a 500 mile trip with brakes worn to the sensors. They found me a loaner car to use while they had mine. I am so grateful for Craig, and the entire service department at Carosel!! THANK YOU!
