John explained everything from start to finish. He was patient with my curiosity. I was amazed at the outcome : my truck was transformed. Not only were dents, scratches and all evidence of mayhem gone, the outside and inside appeared showcase ready.

Great work on my bumper! I was updated on the progress all the way through and had it done before the time they estimated. They matched the paint perfectly and even replaced the lower grill. I couldn t be happier.

I was very impressed wuth Elise Allen ! She was very friendly and attentive to my car with estimate. I told her we had use Abra in North Liberty and wasn't impressed with them. But a friend suggested the Iowa City location . I would highly recommend the Iowa City store as they got my car in quickly and got it done on time !! I can't thank her enough for all her help. She knows what customer service is and I left very happy !!

Elise was our contact person, she is very friendly, knowledgeable and informative! She did a great job with communication thru texts and calls.Best experience with Abra Auto Body Iowa city. People work there are super friendly and helpful! They cleaned my car interior and exterior when I picked it up. We are very pleased with the outcome. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs car repairs. A++++++

Excellent company, very professional.They took care of everything for me. All I had to do was drop it off then pick it up. They handled everything with my insurance and sent daily updates on their progress. I will be using them again (I have teenagers...). I would also recommend them if you to have teenagers. My car was involved in a hit & run while I was at work. There was slight damage to the rear of my car. I'm somewhat new to the area, so I asked for some recommendations from my coworkers and one suggested ABRA. I decided to take my car to them and Elise was extremely helpful and explained what the damage looked like and gave me a reasonable estimate. The situation between both insurances got very complicated and stressful, but Elise at ABRA was phenomenal. My car was fixed in about a week and turned out to be more damage than what was initially estimated. Elise was so helpful and made the experience so personable. I expressed that it was my first time handling something like this on my 'own' and she was very understanding. The whole process with ABRA was efficient, and they handled everything with my insurance. I would HIGHLY recommend ABRA! My car looked better than when I brought it in!

I brought my vehicle to Abra auto body on the morning of February 22nd with a quoted repair time of 3 to 4 days. However, I didn't receive the vehicle until the evening of March 4th. While I acknowledge that unexpected issues can arise during repairs, and winter-related accidents may contribute to increased demand, the discrepancy between the estimated completion time and the actual pickup date was extremely frustrating and disappointing. The quality of the work is not in question, but the repeated revisions to the completion timeframe were dissatisfying. Had I been given a more realistic estimate, I could have compared timelines with other State Farm Insurance recommended vendors.

I had some problems with work that was done several years ago under different ownership. They stood behind the work, provided a loaner vehicle and it now looks terrific. I really appreciate it.

I had such a great experience with ABRA getting my car repaired. They were very kind and helpful and kept me up to date on what was happening with my CRV until it was ready. I really appreciated the service and would recommend this shop to my closest friends and family.

Elise is an absolute rock star. Coming from the car business how she spoke with me on the phone since day one of reaching out was incredible. Best customer service I've ever had and I wasn't even a customer. She helped confirm for me, what I already knew, which is that Safelite should never do a windshield repair. She also helped make sure I had the proper paperwork to hold the company who botched the repair accountable for the extra damage they caused. If I she's ever looking for a career change I would love nothing more than to have her as part of my insurance agency. Thanks for all you do Elise.

This place needs To figure out how to communicate with customers. I was told that I would receive email with updates and pictures. I was told four different times my vehicle would be done. He said he'd call The day before and give me update. I never got any updates. Never received any emails.When I called to see if I could get it the next day he acted like I was rushing them. This happed 4 times. What started as a 3 day fix turned into 2 weeks. All I wanted was an update. One of the excuses he told me was there were 60 cars ahead of mine. Why the hell would you schedule me in with 60 cars ahead of mine waiting for paint. How did they get 60 cars painted in 2 weeks with one paint booth. That's not possible. It was a lie.When I dropped it off I was ignored by the receptionist and felt like the invisible man. One of the other office people had to come out and tell her to help me.The work that was done looks good but I just got it back so I can't say if the work was actually good. With the lack of communication I have doubts. Waiting to see if any electrical problems start popping up.Also when I picked it up he tried to charge me an additional $500. He said they found additional damage after the bumper was removed and had to add to the claim with my insurance. He never told me that they found additional damage. They had already received a check for the additional stuff from my insurance and he still tried to charge me extra for it.Never again will I do business at this Abra.

Hit a deer 11/2022, had to have the front end fixed along with some side body repair.Had to take vehicle back in for work that needed to be completed with warmer weather. Other items arose and ABRA is taking care of us!

My car - Prius Prime 2018- had the rear glass totally broken and I had Abra replace the glass for me. We thought it would take a while to find and order the glass since that model is not common in that area. But Abra ordered it within hours, and the next day the car was ready to drive! The communication was pleasant, staffs were very kind. The process was super quick, and the repairemant was impeccable. Overall, I am more than satisfied.
