Eli was the sales person that helped me learn and eventually buy my new Camry. I appreciate his time and his friendliness through the whole time I was there with my family. I thank him and the guys who got my vehicle ready for me to take home the same day. Love the car and have nothing but good things to say about my time there and the people who helped.

Wife and I went in looking to get a rav 4 used 2018 we found one we were interested in. Turns out they were asking more than our bank was willing to give. Not a big deal we accepted that and told our sales person over text that we were okay with that and decided to move on to other options. He then proceeds to text my wife and tell her she's making a mistake in not leasing with them. We found a cheaper car at another dealership and went on with them. I had no problem not getting the one we originally wanted but I don't think it's very professional to tell someone they're making a bad decision when deciding to move on from them. Would not recommend.

Contacted service twice this week to just trying to find out the hourly cost for diagnosing an issue with our Sienna we bought there. No response the first time, and the second time when I called, the person did not know the rate, took down my information for a service advisor to call me, and no one ever called me back. Service has definitely gone downhill once our warranty expired.

I liked the place. Efficient and professional. Free water on the sales side. Free sugar cookies and coffee on the service side. Yum! I truly enjoyed the mechanics video of the car. And they support the Veterans with a military discount.

Worst place to take a vehicle when it's under an extended warranty that you buy from Toyota. Took in my 17 Camry for rough start issues, they found every excuse they could to not do anything to fix the issue. They ended up saying there was dirt in the filler neck of my gas tank and it needed a fuel pump which wouldn't be covered. Come to find out, I took it to a different shop and it wasn't in fact the fuel pump but one of the fuel injectors was leaking and causing the rough start. They didn't pressure test the fuel rail to check for leaks, they just found the most convenient excuse they could to get out of servicing the vehicle. Incompetent Service Department and a horrible experience, go to a different Toyota Dealership for service and to buy a new or used Toyota.

I worked with Eli to trade in my pickup for a Tundra. The transaction was quick and easy, which is what I was looking for. I'm not planning on keeping the vehicle that long a time, and me relaying that led to financing to not even mention any "extras". This was appreciated; I don't need extended service plans if I don't plan on keeping the vehicle much more than a year.I always feel weird at car dealers, but this felt better than most.

I bought a car last month at the Toyota of Des Moines. I had a wonderful service experience from their teams and specially from a young man Eli. Eli is a knowledges young man who helped me throughout the processes. He did a well done job, a wonderful job as a salesman, and he knows what he is doing. I am 100% satisfied! I am highly recommend Eli as a salesman at the Toyota ofDes Moines. 100% 100% 100%

I'm not from around here and needed an oil change and tires checked out. I wasn't sure they could take me since I didn't have an appointment; luckily they had time to see me. Jose was my service advisor and did a great job walking me thru the service process. I received text updates throughout my visit. Nobody wants to hear bad news when they go to the shop; turns out, the issue with my tires was that I needed new ones. I appreciate they showed me exactly what was wrong with my tires. What impressed me the most, this is the first ever dealership that I received a video of my multi-point vehicle inspection detail. This was super easy to share with my fiance who was at work. Would definitely recommend for service. Thank y'all so much!

Every time I have been to this dealership I have had nothing but positive and happy encounters! The staff is very friendly and willing to take time and explain the steps needed. Service is always on point and the way you get the videos and info are awesome! I have had my truck and van serviced here over 20 times and every time it's awesome service!

Eli did a great job finding us a vehicle and deserves 5 stars. Financing was a bit rushed and they didn't want to present me with options outside of Toyotas in-house options. In hindsight I should have been more prepared and gone to the banks directly before ever walking into the dealership... But overall feel like the pricing was transparent and the dealership was good to work with.

I had the best experience buying my new highlander from Elijah Saenz-Walters, he made the process so easy !! Definitely go to him when getting a new car.

Service was fine as usual, but Robert Schulz said that my front left tire had a nail in it. He said it was not repairable and I would have to spend $400 for a new one, but when I took my car to Costco, they said that it didn't even puncture the tire! Even the other customers at Costco said that this dealership was squeezing every penny they could out of you! BUYER BEWARE

Eager to make a sale! Ian Rojas didn t go through any options but rather yet after we signed all the forms, (not to mentioned we had to go back 3 days laters b/c it was entered wrong)Ian then goes to my father and tell him to go get a private loan to get it off my name. The vehicle is meant as a gift on my behalf. Great deal Toyota!

Do not waste your time trying to buy a car from Andrew Andy Whiting. He is typical used car salesmen and will sell a car right out from under you even though you ve spent time with him to buy a vehicle. He s basically your typical soulless used car salesman.

Had "new" brakes and rotors put on as well as a couple calipers. Mostly due to poor installation and products installed by, guess who, Toyota. They squeaked worse than anytime ever. I called and called and called and every time it was a different excuse. It's been dry out, it's humid out, have you washed the vehicle, you name it. Finally they take it in 6 months later, their "fix" was to sand the rotors and lubricate them. It squeaked as soon as I picked it up. Called and said they need to come up with real solution and I've never heard back with an actual remedy, I don't know, like put new parts on that aren't junk. What an absolute joke. Going to make sure not a single person I know uses their "service". Not too mention after bringing it back my belt "all of a sudden" starts squeaking all the time. $1,700 my truck it way worse off than it was when I took it in.

I had to take my vehicle in for a safety recall so timed it with an oil change. Had an appointment for 8:30 am. Arrived 5 minutes early and they got my car started right away.Their waiting area is nice. Many different seating options and spaces. They have complimentary coffee and snacks. Today it was granola bars.Everything clean, including the restrooms. The service took 2 hours. Not terrible I guess? IDK. The negative was my car smelled strongly of gas afterwards. Like someone had literally spilled gas inside my car. It was overwhelming. You get a free basic car wash with service. My total was $97 for an oil change and tire rotation. The cashier was incredibly nice. That was awesome.I am no genius. Trust me. But I do know my car is supposed to have the oil changed every 10,000 miles. That's what the manual says. So I can't figure out why the sticker they put on for my next service is only 4,000 miles. When Mike came to get me for my car, he yelled my last name and said it wrong so there was general confusion. Then after I paid I had to wait another 20 minutes for my car to be brought up. Sort of annoying after already being there 2 hours.Long review to say there were pros and cons. I noticed as I left the lot was super sparse for new AND used vehicles. Hardly any sitting out. I took a pic of the one small row that was full.

Had an easy time buying a new 4 runner here- everyone was very nice. When buying it they said it had an automatic start and it didn't end up having one. I was upset and they called/ lined up a way to fix it almost immediately. Not every process can go super smooth so when something wasn't right they took it upon themselves to fix it and that'll make me recommend them every time.

Scheduled an appointment with this location about a week ago over the phone. The lady who helped me schedule was AMAZING and made to note that I would have a shuttle ready whenever I dropped my vehicle off.Fast forward to 12/7/23 when I dropped my car off early (per Toyota request as my appointment was for 7 am the next day) when I arrived my service advisor, Ian, asked why I brought the vehicle in. I mentioned everything I had told the lady who helped book my appointment but I had an additional clicking noise that came up that I wanted to be looked at. I let Ian know this had happened earlier in the week but was not currently doing it - asked if they could take a look and see if they could identify the problem.Ian responded with if it isn t happening while in this garage, we will not look at it. We don t even know what to fix . A puzzling answer from a dealerships service advisor but I imagine this is a management pushed response. When I asked Ian about a shuttle ride, he advised I would have to wait anywhere from 90-180 minutes. A bit curious after being told I would be able to get a shuttle but we moved on.I waited until 1:30 pm CST (6.5 hours) after my appointment had been scheduled to ask for ANY update. Ian responded noting my car was ready to be picked up, not noting any work that was done or any diagnosis they had come up with. They simply approved the work themselves.Never once did they identify a problem with the car, advise me of said problem, and confirm I would like the work done. For me this was a small repair under $150 but imagine if this was your transmission or engine? Is this the type of service you would expect?I spoke with a manager, Brock, who was receptive of my concerns but this was after they had sat on my car for nearly a full business day and provided zero communication other than advising when the car was ready.Typically I don t write reviews about dealerships because they tend to suck across the board. This is far and away the worst service department I have dealt with from the service advisor being off putting and rude to no communication on the backend and deciding to approve fixes without my consent. Extremely shady sales tactics to say the least.I would HIGHLY advise anyone that does use this location, avoid Ian Davis at all costs. I personally will be taking my vehicle 40 minutes away from my home to Ames Wilson Toyota moving forward. An awful experience. I feel truly sorry for anyone who has to deal with this locationNOTE: look at the robotic responses to the low reviews at this place. Why would a customer who is being treated badly by YOUR staff members reach out? Wouldn t it make sense for the GM to be proactive? As someone else said, typical corporate American greed. Wish there was another Toyota dealership locally to Des Moines.

My gas tank wouldn t open and I needed gas to finish my trip back to Nebraska. My dad was able to get ahold of the service department where a kind woman told me to bring my car in. They were able to fix it in minutes at no cost! I was able to make it home with my cat and dog! Thank y'all for your kindness and making time to get my vehicle in I truly appreciate it!

Brought my Toyota in twice for vibration originating from the drivetrain causing my center column to vibrate (especially during cold weather). Even had extended 100K warranty for this vehicle. Maintenance decided not to test it in the early morning so tells me they can't duplicate the harsh vibration. Also, decided to get the transmission fluid changed and Toyota found that the fluid was lower than expected but no leaks, so this would indicate possibly manufacturing issue but pushes it off as no issue. So now at 109K, my transmission is GONE (no warning, no cautions, no error codes)...over $8K to fix. Called Toyota Assistance and got the stiff arm. Guess I'm trading it in for another Mazda!

When financing my mom s new rav4, the salesman kept saying my mom has no credit history and can t be given lower rate. While in fact my mom has above 850 credit score and had even bought multiple vehicle from this exact location. He d refuse to look my mom s credit score when pulled up on her phone. After a while we found out he used the wrong SSN to run the credit history check. Be aware!! Always ask questions and don t settle. These salespeople don t care for you.

Sales men are very cocky. We were looking at Rav4 and Sienna salesman said, "Good luck. Even if you bought it today, it's over a year wait" Showed no interest in trying to help us.

I am in the search of a new vehicle but this would be the last place I would go!! We purchased a brand new vehicle from them the end of 2020. We were in the need of some service and after speaking with multiple people we got multiple answers. I spoke with Shelly and apparently when you have been employed with a company for 11 years (she made sure I knew how long she had been employed with them) that gives you the right to be completely rude and disrespectful to the customers! Our frustration was a result of the employees at Toyota not being consistent in their answers. Very unprofessional. I will make sure to let you know where I purchase my brand new vehicle from so you are aware of the sale you missed.

After shopping for a Mustang at several dealerships in the area and getting the stereotypical used car salesman treatment I finally landed here. I must say I was thoroughly impressed from start to finish! They made the process simple and fast. I got a great deal on the car I wanted and Rodney in sales was great to work with! Highly recommend!

Had a great experience trading in a vehicle. Our salesman Kevin was excellent to work with and kept us updated as we were waiting for our vehicle to come in. Once the vehicle arrived the transaction was smooth and quick. Couldn't expect any better customer service when purchasing a new vehicle.

Driving across the US from Alberta we had a check engine light go on warning us to go to a dealership. They quickly diagnosed the issue and advised us to use only unleaded gas in our vehicle. Thank you for your prompt, quick and friendly service.
