My repairs were covered through insurance who has a standing agreement that enables me to skip messing around with the estimates. So I cannot speak to the price of services, but the quality of work and communication throughout the process exceeded my expectations.I would not hesitate to bring another vehicle back here for repairs.A long shot, but it would be nice if they had a loaner or rental car available for those of us who forgot to add that on our insurance policies.

Caliber really seems to have their process nailed down. We needed to bring in a work vehicle for a repair that was being covered by insurance. They explained how the process would work for the repair and how coordination and payment would work with the insurance company. The whole thing was seamless. Shout out to Gabe and Nicole who really communicated well with us. Highly recommend.

Caliber Collision was an amazing company to work with. Their staff is very friendly and professional. Mike and Nichole went out of their way to make it easy for me. I got regular updates on the progress of the repair and they even got it done early! So happy with this experience and would highly recommend them.

If you find yourself in the sad situation of needing to get your 2-week-old BRAND NEW car disassembled and put back together because of an accident, like I was, I understand your frustration. But just know you're in good hands at Caliber Collision in Grimes if your car with < 1000 miles on it suddenly looks sadly crunched in, and that the team at Caliber Collision will do their darnedest to get you back on the road with your car ASAP in the condition it was in pre-accident.Gabe was assigned to be the primary guy working on my car. I came to the shop because I had gotten T-boned while reversing from a driveway and the other driver hit my passenger-side doors. Insurance assigned me to this auto body shop, but if I had to do it over again and was told to choose the auto body shop by myself, I would've chosen this shop.Gabe was very patient explaining the work that needed to be done to fix my smashed-in passenger door and a few other panels that needed repainted and such. I'm not terribly car-savvy with the terminology, but he was able to explain it to me in a way that made sense. The shop kept me in the loop on an every-3-day-basis, but Gabe and the team weren't irked at all when I'd call in for more frequent updates, and he was usually able to answer my call right away without being on hold for very long.I should also mention that Caliber Collision worked with the car rental service so I didn't have to get shuttled between CC and Enterprise, but rather Enterprise came and brought me my rental car and then they picked it up at CC when I came back to pick up my car. Now that's service!5 stars. Full stop. They're good.

Caliber Collision was less than stellar. We had to travel out of town for approximately three weeks. Caliber did store our vehicle during our trip for free and performed repairs which was extremely nice of them. Our inspection when we returned to collect the vehicle did not immediately reveal any issues other than low tire pressure from sitting in a cold shop. Caliber provided us some air and took care of the issue. After our first day we found issues. They failed to reattach the door properly. There were electrical issues with the window, the door was not sitting flush with the interior, there was a visible gap between the window and internal door mechanics you could look down into, the door would not open from the interior handle as it was not reattached, and they failed to remove a piece of metal with the new passenger side mirror. We had to take the vehicle back to get adequate repairs.Edit: We thought some of the electrical issues we were experiencing was due to the service from Caliber Collision. However, it was unfortunate timing as a different component hit the end of lifecycle simultaneously. That said, there were other issues caused by them failing to reattaching the door correctly. All the people we dealt with were excellent in terms of politeness, listening to our concerns, and addressing them. However, the Quality Assurance side of Caliber Collision completely failed on our vehicle. Failed to the point where we have to get another mechanic to repair the issues rather than risk taking the vehicle back to Caliber.

I will lead with this disclaimer: my experience may not be the norm. On the day I got my car back, another customer was getting his vehicle returned within a day. My experience was not so fortunate. In my case, my car spent 7 weeks and 4 days in this shop for a job estimated to take 50 labor hours (generously that s a 2 work weeks). After week 3, I spent every other day on the phone with the shop to see how progress was going and I was always promised either it ll be done tomorrow or by the end of the week .Were the people nice? Yes. Were they helpful? No. Helpful would had implied that the story they were telling me were providing accurate insight to the status of my car. That couldn t be the case if I had nearly 5 weeks of empty promises.Did they do a good job with the car? Yes. The car looks good. Not great though. The quarter panel that was just painted had chips already and my personal item on the dashboard (a dancing panda) was broken upon the car s return.I can live with the chipped paint since the majority of the front of my car is chipped from driving on the highway so much. It blends in for the most part. I am very disappointed about my panda. A heavy price to pay to have ( if you also consider the rental fee I also had to pay on top of everything)In summary, I had a horrible experience with satisfactory results that left a sour taste in my mouth.I really hope I am the exception and not the norm.

Just had my 2016 Colorado repaired at Caliber due to a fender bender accident caused by winter storms. Looks like new. Staff was great and kept me informed at each stage. Job was competed earlier than the original quote.

I has a scrape on my front bumper and took it to Caliber Collision to see if they could fix it. They buffed out the damage and didn't even charge me. They were so friendly. I'd definitely recommend this company!

In the end I ham happy with the way my car now looks. I did have to return and speak with the manager about a few concerns I had but it was not an issue to get what I expected. They were able to get me back in within a day and every thing was handled to my expectation. They were very good at communication. They called me several times and gave updates and stayed on schedule. In the beginning I chose them because of a preference by my insurances company and I have no reason not to use them again.

I drove my car here a month after someone hit me for an estimate and repairs, the other party's insurance was paying for the damage. I had one damaged rim, a fender, and wheel well which needed replaced as well as paint damage to another rim and front bumper.Apparently Caliber does not offer free estimates and billed roughly 300 dollars for disassembly which the opposing insurance company refused to pay. Not their fault the insurance was refusing to pay, although I've never been billed for an estimate. The estimate was just short of 13,000 dollars, listing virtually everything on the front end of the car: bumper, both fenders, the headlights, etc and at likely the highest possible price they could find. (I was able to order a new factory fender for less than 25% of their replacement cost with two-day shipping) Their estimate was so high the insurance company decided to total out the vehicle despite them valuing it at more than double the estimate. I opted to retain the car and called them more than a day before to let them know I would be there, and when, to drive it away...I arrived there and we had a snow storm a couple days earlier. the car was buried under a foot of snow. They said nothing about the 300 dollar bill for taking it apart until I arrived. Absolutely no contact with me prior to this, nor did they tell me when I advised them I'd be getting the car.I had questions about all the items listed on the estimate as I couldn't find a thing wrong with the headlights or passenger fender, and the front bumper had only a paint scuff. Of course, I didn't get any explanation for why those parts needed replaced as that was put on hold when I saw the bumper wasn't attached (bolt on each side), the intact wheel well's plastic push-in rivets were now missing, and multiple warnings came up when starting the car such as the collision avoidance system being offline. The car sat for over a week outside and was hastily thrown together. When I confronted them about the condition of the car, I believe his name was Josh, said they'd have to get an estimate for what it would take to put it back together, then said they couldn't since it was damaged. I didn't push the issue for the fender's, wheel well, or bumper despite only one having damage... they brought me zip-ties, I requested the reconnect the electronics. He insisted it was wrecked and they can't reconnect something damaged. I drove the car a month, nothing was wrong with any sensors. He refused, was quite rude and belligerent and said most people who have an estimate, don't get the work done there, and retain their cars drive away with their parts loaded into their car. He was not at all concerned with me being able to drive away in my vehicle and instead irate that I had kept him there after closing time.I had to come back during the day to properly assess the car, and located the connection for the collision avoidance system which needed no tools to access - he could have reconnected it and replaced the missing bolts on the fenders in less time than he spent arguing.Other shops are quoting a third of the price. I was unfamiliar with Caliber and had no idea they're the largest collision repair in the nation. I also had no idea there were so many claims online of them billing insurance for repairs they didn't do, tacking on unnecessary repairs to inflate estimates, and a fine in California for such actions of 5.8 million dollars.Ask a lot of questions about your estimate, get a second or third opinion, research the place you bring your car to beforehand, and avoid Caliber.

I was very impressed with the "white glove" experience I had at the Caliber Collision in Grimes. This is a classy shop! Every single step of the process exceeded my expectations. It was surprisingly easy. It was also seamless with State Farm for my claim.Caliber got me in the same day for an estimate & in the next day to start repairs. They took 8 days (extra few due to waiting on parts) but this was faster than their estimate. I felt their time estimate & cost estimate were fair & likely what any shop might quote. They called me every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday to give me updates on the repair so I never felt disconnected or concerned about how it was progressing or what was happening to "my baby" (KIA Stinger GT2). When I picked her up she looked perfect again (the most important part of this review!)No one *wants* to need their services ;) but if you do, I highly recommend them.Thank you Nicole (office manager) & Anthony (technician)!

Caliber made our experience incredibly easy, which was a great relief - especially considering it was an insurance claim. They were also very communicative and friendly. Amazing service. Other auto body shops were charging $150+ to have my under light fixed but Jason fixed it in less than 20 minutes without even having to take the bumper off like other body shops said was necessary. Highly recommend.

From the beginning to the end of my experience with CaliberCollision was stressless. They took care of all repairs in a timely manner and communicated with me through the entire time. I knew what the costs were and informed of any differences than their estimate. Sanin communicated everything and called me with updates. Nicole was very responsive and helpful as well. This company is by far the best at what they do and I am very pleased with the final repairs. My car is brand new again. I would recommend them to anyone for their professionalism and outstanding service. That is hard to come by these days! I am very impressed!

I got rear ended and chose this place to get my car fixed. Just got my car back yesterday and the work they did, amazing! Looks sooo good. Customer service was great too! People there are super nice. They kept me updated throughout the process. I have no complaints on the work. If I had to complain about anything it would be when they cleaned my car, streaks left on the windows and other weird cleaning marks on my car and my car now smells like garage and paint, but nothing they can do about that . Nothing that really persuaded me to do less than 5 stars. Thanks Caliber!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

You have a choice in who you trust to do your auto repair. This place is fair with their pricing, they backup their work, their communication is exceptional and their customer service goes beyond! Seriously, never expected anything other than the repair to be done to my car...I'm pretty sure they ran the vacuum through the front seat..left my car better than I left it (obviously), but these small details matter.Services: Painting, Body & Trim
