From the moment I walked into Shottenkirk I felt welcome and comfortable. Nothing seemed forced. I've heard horror stories about buying a vehicle and I'd have to say if you go in with an open mind and some flexibility you're going to be pleasantly surprised how easy it is. Brittney was awesome. I know my son will be going here when he's able to make a purchase as well. I highly recommend this dealership.

Very good experience especially with Brian, Chris and David. They all were very personable and knowledgeable on their jobs. Brian helped us by allowing us to test drive whatever we asked. He was very good at his job to make us feel comfortable. Chris also wanted us to get what we needed and kept at it until we were satisfied with the transaction. David got us through the dreaded paperwork in excellent time. I would refer anyone needing a car to go here as the competition in Burlington doesn't negotiate and are not as personal. Thank you

We phoned before coming out. The experience was wonderfully seamless from start to finish. Granted I knew what I was looking for so that made it so much easier, but the customer service here is hands-down the best. I will be back to purchase future vehicles here and my daughter will soon be visiting Mike & Jamie to square away a new vehicle as well.Definitely give this location a shot. They made everything so easy!

Worst experience ever. They have a disclaimer stating at all vehicles come with a $895 package and then charge you outside of the MSRP of the vehicle but on their website it states it comes with it not charged for it. Was told that since I am not trading in a vehicle or using their financing that I have no value in the deal to work with as a customer. Every customer has to buy that package but if you finance with them then they will take that package off. Response to their reply.... Would love if I could talk to a GM as this is how I was treated by your financial manager and his manager

Salesman was good but the finance guy was kinda pushy with the extended warranty. Wasnt to pleased that the truck didnt have the running boards on it and had to come back weeks later to have them put on.

I took my car in for a window regulator. When I left the dealership I got about 10 miles When my car overheated. I checked under the hood the mechanic had removed the cap off the coolant reservoir. I called the dealer was told they would have someone get me and have the car towed back. I was stranded in the middle of nowhere for about 45 minutes when the temperature was in the 30s. It took them over 4 hours to get my car towed back. By that time it was to late to be repaired and I was forced to go without a vehicle for over 24 hours. She kind of insinuated that I had removed the cap.

Absolute top notch service as always! Brittney is very knowledgeable on all of the features my new vehicle has, and took the time to walk me through everything. She is very kind, respectful, and was very helpful through the process. Dustin was extremely helpful as well, working with me on multiple occasions to value my trade, and to give me a fair price for trade in. This was my fifth vehicle I have purchased with Brittney and Dustin, and I wouldn't choose anyone else to go to!!!

Kevin and Dustin are very Professional and courteous. They helped me get a truck that I always dreamed of having! I still can t believe it! I still have a few accessories that I need to get from Shottenkirk.. like Denali Mud Flaps, a chrome hood deflector, security cameras, all weather floor mats, gmc cargo bed mat, tailgate step lighting, and I d really like to have the audio kicker system that is installed into the tailgate!I can t say enough about the Shottenkirk Dealership in Fort Madison, Iowa. They are by far the best Dealership around the Midwest! I wouldn t hesitate to drive out of my way to go to this dealership! Especially Dealing with the Sales associate Kevin and the Sales Manager Dustin! They go above and beyond to help you! They by far deserve a most generous pay raise! Without them and the whole Shottenkirk Staff there.. getting the truck I could only dream of having would still be only a dream. Worst dealership I've ever done business with. Not only were they extremely greedy, but they lie. They failed to disclose that the truck was submerged in water past the axle vent. They claimed it was "certified pre-owned" and checked over by their mechanic, yet somehow they failed to notice the water in the rear axle. I've had issues with my vehicle since day one. Stay far away from this place.

Worked with Kevin Lopez and Chris Buster on the purchase of a 19 Suburban. Couldn't be happier. Shottenkirk worked with me where other dealers were not interested. Was treated with respect, enthusiasm, and professionalism the entire time. Painless as it gets! Definitely recommended.

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. I contacted to purchase a truck day 1 it was listed and said i would purchase. I offered a down payment or anything that would solidify the deal. The sales manager Dustin said they don't take down payments and assured it would be mine. A week after it was listed, it was out of their shop for repairs and a deal was made by Kris Pauly over email. He said he would call me in the morning to do paper work. I instead waited all day for the phone call which i never got. I had to call the sales manager at the end of the day only to find out they sold it to someone else. What a waste of my week. They don't care about their customers. My money spends the same as the next guy and i was paying full asking price, so there was absolutely no reason to sell it to someone else. Why they sold it out from under me, I'll never know. But be damn sure they don't care about treating me this way and they sure won't care about treating you the same. Find another dealer, one that actually values your time. This one deserves 0 stars. And absolutely don't work with these 2 individuals. Dishonest AF!

The body shop did an excellent job on my headliner. I had a leak over the passenger door. They repaired the leak, cleaned the water stain and reset the headliner as if it was BRAND NEW! Excellent job once again

Brought my truck in for a transmission shudder issue. Was told I needed a $6200 transmission. I did more research on the issue and only had to replace the torque converter at a fraction of the cost.

We were desperate looking for specific vehicle make/model/color. Used the Chevy. Com website and found our dream truck at Shottenkirk! I called the dealership to ensure vehicle was available and spoke to Keith. He was so helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant to do business with. Felt like a casual conversation instead of a sales line. Drove 2 1/2 hours to pick up the truck and it was cleaned, full of gas, and pulled right up to the front door. Worked out preliminary budget and pricing with Chris. He explained all of our options and made the buying experience awesome. Unfortunately they d sold so many vehicles that day we had to wait ten minutes for the finance office to catch a break, but we were in and out and driving home in our new truck with absolutely no surprises or regrets. We will gladly drive 2 1/2 hours one way to work with this group again. They were amazing!

Bought a 2017 Chevy Silverado High Country a year ago along with extended warranty for about $4k.Had an issue with a leaking oil line, transmission shudder and engine light coming on a few months after purchase.First they replaced the fuel control module however it wasn't covered under the warranty which cost $800 out of pocket. Unfortunately it did solve the issue as the shudder was still there and the engine light came back on after a few weeks.After bringing it back in it turned out to need a fuel pump which was throwing the engine light and transmission fluid needed replaced to stop the shudder. Neither of which apparently was covered under the warranty either and was quoted another $1,800 out of pocket to fix. All of this on a $40k truck plus another $4k extended warranty in under a year.Obviously I wasn't very impressed and decided I'd just take the truck back and do the work myself and cancel the warranty that didn't seem to be worth much and left an initial one start review.The next day (today) Shottenkirk's called me and said they would make it right 100% covered for the fuel pump and transmission fluid change.It's easy to assume the worst and just expect poor service from everyone these days but Shottenkirk's went out of their way to make this right and to make sure I was happy. Honestly that is a rare unexpected thing today and I can't remember the last time a company has stepped up and made things right like this.A day ago I was ready to never do business with Shottenkirk's again. Today I won't do business anywhere else.
