Amazing experience. They were extremely kind and very straight forward. Walked out with new keys to a vehicle I just absolutely love and will absolutely go back. Zach Dawson was amazing to work with and Monica in finance was just as amazing. Honestly amazing dealership, highly recommend! Thank you for my new ford escape!

I took my SUV somewhere else in Fort Madison with a humming sound and hot oil smell. Biggest mistake I made because SUV came back super loud noise and leaking oil. Insurance paid but the screw up on repair cost me $4000 to fix.Thank you Jim Baier Ford

OH MY GOSH! I cannot believe how nice and helpful they were (Will and Monica) when my husband and I went there! They were so nice and friendly! I didn t feel like a stranger walking into a new place, they made us feel like we go there every day. They didn t make us feel like a number like most places do, they really wanted to help us. I had many issues with my current car and needed to find a different vehicle asap. They did an AMAZING job with finding a loan company/bank that would work with us. We walked away with a new truck! We appreciate them and their help so much!!

I was assisted by Garrett today in purchasing my first car, between him and the finance manager Monica my experience was great. I was very happy to work with the both of them and they made me feel very comfortable in the decision I made!! We was in the market for a new/used vehicle. And I was on the website and inquiring about one, Jesse called me and said we have one that might fit what your looking for. We went down to look at it. Not even thinking we was gona buy anything. KIP the salesman was so very kind, and pleasant not your typical sales guy that's what we likes wasn't pushy care about our needs. He's asked a only a few questions and we really liked the vehicle, we went and got the paperwork started and Monica was amazing she worked magic in making it happen. Couldn't be more happier. I will be referring people. We will be returning customers. Best dealership I've ever dealt with. If I could give 10 stars I would. We now have our new vehicle.

At one time, I bought three cars in one day for a business. Another time, I bought a jeep on my lunch hour. I said if you make it fast and painless paperwork wise, I will but the jeep. Clayton gave me exactly what I wanted. He s always smiling.

Clayton Varner sold me a nearly new Ford Escape three years ago with an extended warranty. He took the time to show me several different models and advantages of each. The extended warranty turned out to be a lifesaver this winter. He went over and above to procure a loaner for me from his business even while mine was being worked on in Bloomington.

Mr Varner was very accommodating towards my interest in a pre-owned vehicle. It had to have warranty work completed before I could test drive it and Mr Varner kept me well informed on the status of that work and the earliest the vehicle would be available for a test drive- even offering to bring it by my residence after hours if more convenient . Mr Varner met me in the detail dept at Jim Baier as it was getting detailed for my viewing and test drive; and thoroughly demonstrated all of the features included on the vehicle. Mr Varner took care of all communications of my personal information to the document dept as I paid cash for the vehicle and made sure the final purchase documents were ready for a quick and smooth process. I will definitely return to Jim Baier and ask for Mr Varner when I m ready to trade again in a year or so., and recommend everyone give Jim Baier and Mr Varner an opportunity to earn your business- you won t be sorry.

I bought a used 2019 Ford escape from them about six months ago with 74000miles i got it up to 81000. I have taken it in 3 times for an oil change and was never told my transmission fluid was leaking so I ended up with a transmission needing replaced they quoted me 7200 which was a shock and after talking to John Gentry he worked out a new price and made things right instead of 7200 they gave me 15% of parts and 10% of labor off bringing it down to 5800 and with 7% sales tax it came out to 6200 which is a way better price for me and I am very satisfied with them for making things right with me my family has been repet customers with them and I'm happy to say they have succeeded to amaze us

The service department was fast and friendly at 1st . I brought a 2018 ford expedition platinum edition truck in for sun roof repair . I was quoted $1200 for repair to lower remove headliner and replace motors for sunroof and sun shade . Upon pick up and completion I noticed the sun shade to the roof was sagging like a wet sheet . I called them and they said they wasn t paid to fix the sun shade . There was no issue with the sun shade at all upon dropping off the vehicle. I told them didn t you all lower remove the headliner. Managers stated we don t actually remove it . I told them but you billed me for it . The managers says all shops do that we just pull it down . Wow ok so what are we going to do to fix this sun shade . Manager well I ll call you back 2 weeks later no call back and still not fixed . However they got paid what they asked for and my sun shade wasn t like this until there service department worked on it . Bad business for the small guys . update After I posted this I was contacted saying the service man was fired . They wanted to make it right and someone wouldBe in contact soon. Never contacted me again absolutely a bad place to take your car for repairs. I paid them exactly what they asked me a lot of money and still was not repaired and just flat out lied to me!

If you plan on financing from them watch out. i purchased a ford escape from them in may. I told zach the payments needed to be around the 350-400 range. i had a approval from a offer from my cc company and gave them the info to get working on it. finance got back to me and said they got another company to finance with as rates were better but payments would be a little higher due to my credit report. they said payments would be 450 a month but it came with a extended warranty as if it was part of the package not a option. at pick up a different person was there with a pile of papers for me to sign. after getting home and looking everything i saw close to 4000 added on to the loan for this warranty, when i called to ask about it i got one person blaming the other for not telling me this was optional. no accountability. i was told they would cancel the warranty and refund the money but my payments would stay the same. i figured it out and without the add on payments woud have been in the range i asked for. must be a comission for selling extended warrantys as im sure im not the only one this has happened to. the car is good and zach was alright but dont trust the finance department.

Jim Baier in Fort Madison exceeded our expectations in every way. We randomly stopped to look at an older first truck for our son. Colton came right out and shared information on the vehicle but told us honestly it wouldn t be a reliable first truck for a 14 year old and that they had just gotten a different truck in on trade that he thought might be something we d like. My son fell in love immediately. We test drove it and talked numbers, and went home to sleep on it. The next morning after a handful of calls, Colton was able to get the numbers where we felt comfortable, He went above and beyond along with the finance manager Monica Allen who had all of the documents ready and painless!! They all wanted to make this exciting first truck happen for Joel!! We surprised him and they even put a huge red bow on the hood of the truck. I ve never had such an exceptional, professional, and relaxing process at a car dealership in my lifetime. I will be back next time we need a vehicle. I will recommend Jim Baier and specifically salesman Colton to anyone wanting an amazing buying experience. Thank you so very much Colton, Monica & Jim Baier!!!

We had been trying to get a truck since August. It is now the end of October. Every place would run credit, then say they couldn t sell truck. I had never experienced anything like what was happening at all of these dealerships. I happened to see a Dodge listed with Jim Baier, so I checked the reviews. I thought this is promising. I am so glad we found Colton at Jim Baier. We had some hiccups getting the truck shipped to Louisana, so I hopped on 3 flights & missed the 4th due to flight delay. Colton told me to hang in there, so I got in a rental to finish the journey. He waited until after hours for me on a Saturday. He had everything ready. The truck looked fabulous. He made arrangements to return the rental for me. He called to check on me throughout my very long drive home. I can t thank Colton and the dealership enough for taking such great care of us. PS, put the small deposit on the vehicle. It was how we got the truck over several others.

Zach Dawson was very friendly, zero pressure to buy. Not what we expected from a dealership! We had to take our explorer back for warranty work. Once again the team went above and beyond. I even accidently dropped it off a week early. (I was a week ahead of myself). However they worked me in, and started to look at the issue. It's not resolved yet (vehicle is still there) but the assured me several times it was ok I messed up and I didn't need to feel like I had to come get the vehicle.

Not impressed with the service department at all. Made an appointment in advance for a part reacll at 10 AM was told 1.5-2 hours. Was told at 11 they hadn't even started on my car and it wouldn't be done until 2pm because they were going to take a lunch break. So I would have been stranded there with no lunch. Guy who came to tell me this was REAL condescending in his tone and offered no apologies. When I told him I had things to do as a busy mom I got a dismissive shrug. I was offered a loaner but it was a car I wasn't comfortable driving since I am shorter then average. Good thing I inquired as to what the loaner was a head of time because no one mentioned the model to me. The service manger was nice but since said that's 'just how his employee talks to people' rude guy just kept saying 'mmm hmmm' while the manager was talking. Manager sent him away so we could talk but he came back so there was no way I was going to keep dealing with him. Manager also said this can take up to 3 hours or longer which would have been nice to know in the beginning. I would have made other plans. I get that things happen. I also know I would apologize for a scheduling issue to a customer. I've never felt so talked down to as a female in a car dealership in my life. If I was made aware of the situation sooner I wouldn't have minded. If I was told kindly with an apology for the inconvience at 11 I wouldn't have minded. Being condescended to by a man who told me the wrong time frame with a shrug and a flippant attitude. I flipping mind. I'm going to have my recall part fixed at the Ford dealership in Quincy instead. The manager did offer to deliver my car back to me in Keokuk but only after we had contacted the other dealership. That would have worked and I probably would have taken them up on that if it was offered before we contacted another dealership.

I used to purchase vehicles years ago here, won't go into details but really had a bad experience, mainly with their service advisor.My son had a wreck and needed a vehicle to get back to work. We were searching and reluctantly stopped in. Found a vehicle he really liked, purchased it. The next day he realized that he got the one that wasn't four-wheel drive. (There were two identical ones I guess The only difference was the 4x4.) The key tags even mentioned that this was 4x4.We explained the situation to them, and Jamie, the owner let him bring it back and exchange it!They totally redeem themselves in my eyes! Thank you!

Great dealership! I drove 2 hours to buy an SUV and was well worth the drive. Jay Huffman was the sales consultant that I worked with and was wonderful. Josh Johnson the sales manager was also great to work with. This was my most pleasant experience buying a car at a dealership. Thank you Jim Baier team!

Looking for a very specific truck with specific options which they had in stock. Spoke with Jesse over the phone coordinating and negotiating price and trade in on my truck. They gave me a great deal on my trade in and what I feel was a great price on the purchase of my newer truck. Able to make a deal on trade in through email, pics, and phone calls, which on their part I feel is a leap of faith, they held true to their word on trade in value after arrival to dealership. All in all a great experience and I would drive the 500 miles to visit them again. Special thanks to Jesse, Monica, and josh for helping me to get the truck I've always wanted.

These guys are great! I just purchased a 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 truck from Derek N. here and the process was seamless. Everything was done over FB and the phone believe it or not. I live about 2 hours away and was told the truck would be delivered to my door. I couldn't believe it! Not only that, but my trade was picked up and taken back as well! The truck was in great shape as promised and was exactly what I thought I would be getting. There was no pressure at all! The gentleman who delivered the truck had me sign all of the PPW, and handed over the keys. I would definitely recommend Jim Baier to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. The customer service can't be beat!

I can't begin to explain how amazing our experience was!! My salesman Bryan was the best!! He listened to exactly what we wanted in a vehicle and he found the perfect match. Bryan and Monica worked so hard to get us into our perfect vehicle. They treat you like family and don't pressure you into anything. I would highly suggest going to Jim Baier! By far the best dealership around!
